I've had this app for years and it had been useful...but now I get news alerts that are totally not nessesary. How researchers found the perfect twist to an oreo? A lottery winner split the prize? What Tom Brady is up to? I'd still rather get traffic alerts even though I do not have a car. I've not had technical issues in awhile so there's that.
Fox25 was always the News station that I would turn on every morning and so on because I knew they were the number one News station but if they were to change their News station title back to Fox25news I will definitely be watching them in the morning and so on again and other than that I'm watching other news stations so that's why I gave you people one star and it's not feedback
When I lived in Boston I used to watch this news Channel all the time to get the latest news and they are always on point and very perfessinal. I MISS BOSTON
Always comes back from commercial break in the middle or end of a report/weather. More commercials than news.
This app is certainly not great. It crashes alot, the links are broken a ton, and they never seem to fix anything. The adds always load but the news to follow only loads 60% of the time. For a news station you would think they could spend a little more trying to get a usuable app. Especially after its been out for this amount of time.Of course i still use it because this is my local weather station and news hub that i prefer but if there were other options i would take it.
Too many commercials. Often have to watch multiple minutes of commercials before you can get all important "breaking news" and there is some sort of bug which causes it to freeze and then you have to watch more ads with no guarantee of getting the news. Disappointing because I love Fox 25 Boston
Please send out an update for the app. It doesn't work and hasn't for the last 5 days that I've tried. Cleared cache, force closed and still nothing. Last two resorts are, uninstall/reinstall and last, just delete the app all together.
Fix the app it crashes way too much
Downloaded and installed it and couldn't wait excitingly to watch the local news and some updates.. But every link I clicked on for the news or videos resulted in this never-ending barrage of ads beforehand. Uninstalled it and under 3 minutes. Go watch TV, it's easier, or browse the web.
Doesn't load stories properly. Click on one story and another one opens. Extremely slow. Sometimes doesn't open or takes a few minutes...so annoying. I've had this app on 3 different phones. Latest is a Pixel 2... uninstalling.
I have been using this app a while now and can't stop being amazed day in and day out at the speed with which news stories are uploaded and also at the variety of news stories users are provided. It may very well be the best app of all the Boston TV stations and Boston news in general.
I can only use the app for reading. Try to watch the news by live stream is just annoying. They show the same commercial/ad over and over even when the news is actually live your watching a long commercials. Don't let it be urgent piece of live news, you have to watch ads before it comes on. Disappointing.
I have to say this app is now a bit better after latest update but it still is pretty aggravating with commercial breaks every 3 minutes. App still buffers from time to time but not nearly as bad as before but still needs improvement.
I am very appreciative of your app. I wake up every morning, start my coffee, and turn it on to Fox 25 morning news. It is one of the 2 things that I depend on you to start my day every morning. Tha If I had to come up with something I guess that it would be nice to also be able to connect to what is streaming on Fox 25 at other times. I know there is the other Fox app and I have it but it's more difficult for me to look through a separate app. Thanks again for all you do at Fox 25 ❤
Boston 25 News, 4/5☆'s Your Updates notifications and breaking news are always very helpful, especially when at work, as when there's no time to catch up during the work day. 🙂
App is unable to be used in landscape full-screen while streaming live feed. The screen jumps between landscape and portrait seemingly unable to properly format itself. Galaxy s21u

Originally posted over a week ago that the app scrolls back to the top after closing an article. It is now fixed. Thanks for the quick response to the issue!
Love fox 25 but if they don't fix the app I might need to move on, app freezes on mobile and firestick and just repeats the same 3 minute segment everytime I start it up then shuts back down....
Ads, bugs, crashes, takes forever to respond.
Runs horrible on Android. I like Bostkn 25 and prefer to get my news from their app but it does not work well. Have had the same issues with multiple phones running on Android.
Too many ads, every video has an advertisement first. If I wanted to see an ad I'd watch the TV. The APP shoukd be quick and to the point.
Moved out of the area on retirement - a great way to stay in touch.
keeps crashing. I love the app but I'm unable to click any link with out crashing and I have a s10+, any suggestions I've uninstalled restarted reinstalled same issue.
App is incredibly slow
Was a great easy to use News app! Noticing g buffering and sometimes timeouts (and it is not the { cellular/wifi } networks as I tested both...also the volume sporadically decreases while watching the news content, and during commercials the volume increases. Also getting a frequency of the following error that reads "Unknown error while trying to play video." Fix this then this app. will be once again a great app!
