Fox31 - CW2 Pinpoint Weather

Fixed the persisting temperature issue with latest update. Back up in the left corner again. Thank you. Prev: Increasingly inaccurate radar for rain, snow. It matters in a high risk hail region. But at least the freezing screen and controls seems to have stopped finally after a year.

Used to be good. Now It wants to determine by itself, settings that are USER UNFRIENDLY. It should go back to a year or two ago version...

4/27/21 Still FROZEN once your in app. Buttons all frozen. Very annoying. Can't get an accurate look at map. Why don't you guys fix this? 4/22/21 updated it several days ago and it is frozen everytime I open the app. I can't press anything. Not one single thing changes from the time it opens up and displays the main radar map screen where it usually defaults to. Buttons FROZEN. EVERYTHING FROZEN! VERY annoying when it used to work 100% of the time.

I don't like it any more. Ever since I updated the app, everything is blurred on the map! The names of the cities, even the clouds or images of what's on the radar! I don't like it at all. I agree with the person who says the ten day forecast always comes up blank and the "follow me" part of the app doesn't work! This app is almost not worth having.

Most recent update has an anoying problem. I open the app to the radar tab, seems OK. Then I select the 10 day tab to look at the next week forcasts, but the screen is blank, nothing! If I go back to the radar tab, then select the 10 day tab A SECOND TIME, it then works. Same if I go to the hourly tab, then back to the 10 day tab, it works the second time. Sounds like someone needs to spend some overtime to figure this out.

Updated app. Freezes everytime I open it.

Warning... warning ... warning... warning... warning The app is great for the most part except when it comes to the weather alerts/warnings. You can clear it and it's back right away. You can leave it and you get reminded again. Currently I have been receiving high wind alerts for we over 24 hours for a storm that should hit in about 12 hours.

It is mostly accurate, but NOAA alerts for my area still come out when this app says there is no adverse weather in my area. It would also be nice to pay like $2 or less and get rid of ads. Otherwise I like the interface and that I can watch weather newscast clips when I need to.

It takes minutes to open. Very slow

Cannot contact developer... Strike two! -- 10/14 at about 3am wife and I were scared out of our sleep by a "freeze warning". Phone was on DND and volume was minimal for alarms, notification, everything. There needs to be volume control for regular watch events and an option for life threatening warning events volume, or individual volume controls for groups or subcomponents. Alarms and notifications do no good if they have to be turned off . AND there should be a mute for x hours or days.

Not any more accurate on extended forecasts then other weather news groups, maybe even worse. Every time you leave the app and then come back, it has to completely reload. .....The current temps part of the app is what keeps this on my phone

I have tried a lot of different weather apps and this seems to be the most accurate. Definitely 5 stars. Does not predict the weather 100% accurate, but no one can. Pinpoint is damn close.

It doesn't update unless I open it which is stupid. Plus (it's small but annoying) it used to be low temp/high temp but for no reason at all it now reads high temp/low temp. On the plus side I do like the lay out of it other than that small thing

App is pretty good for weather. The notifications are terrible! After dismissing a notification I do not want or need it to pop up again two minutes later. A dismissed notification should be a dismissed notification until the next event.

Worked fine but now the info for the "Day" and "Evening" sections under the Daily tab is always blank. Even tried to uninstall and reinstall the app. No luck. Live the app but Uninstalling until it gets fixed.

Accurate. It's Denver weather by people in Denver. Downslope, the mountain effect, etc.. is Colorado weather. Not what NY or Atl think is Colorado weather.

Not accurate. Pouring rain at my house but shows no "green" nearby. Better detail on TV, but it seems the video is "dumbed down" for my phone. Glad I didn't pay for this.

Weather data has not been displayed or is incorrect. I got tired of fusing with it and uninstalled it. It was nice when it worked.

Your grey on blue color choice makes the text nearly unreadable, and thus the app is nearly unusable. Too bad, because otherwise it is a promising app.

Quicker access to the doppler but I don't need an App for that. I wanted far more detail. How much snow is expected? We had a weather advisory go out over SMS like an Amber alert but I couldn't find anything on the app. Needs more API data pulled in.

you get a two star rating today when yesterday would have been a five star rating. I liked, no loved, your app for many years, then today, when I needed to see, you changed up everything, it has locked up my older phone. I call bs. no warning. app was great bit now I will probably have to learn to live without. uhg

Like other reviewers, the app doesn't auto update, tired of having to open it to get the correct temperature. It was great when it was updating automatically

Daily Weather forcasts are LOUSY! Example: for Tuesday April 6 all it shows in the forcast is Partly Cloudy in the Evening. But when you check out the Hourly forcast, it shows a 75% chance of rain in the evening. So if you use the app, don't pay any attention to the Daily forcast, as its usualy Pinpointed Wrong!!! It does have good satelite views though. Main complaint is the Daily Forcasts are improperly managed. If i can send screen shots with this, you will see that fact for yourself.

Easy to use, most important it's accurate! Nice visuals. Missing colored weather emblems 🌞🌛🌜🌚⚡👍☀️ they're showing up Gray black and white..

Freeze warning. Good to know. Impossible to clear the notification because 10 seconds later I'm notified again and again. Did you know there's a freeze warning?

I normally love this app but the severe weather notifications going off constantly (more than once an hour for the same notification) are getting annoying.

fix the app!!! keeps crashing. ppl use this for important weather and news. when the weather really matters... it crashes!

Best ever app. Very user friendly and adaptable to what weather YOU want displayed . Oh, and the forecasts are the best.
