Awesome news and weather app, keeping me up to date on local current affairs which is important because I live off grid. After reading the reviews, I've determined that y'all's phones are more garbage then mine!!! It runs flawlessly on mine and it's a prepaid phone lol! Wish I could CAST to my TV and wish the ads weren't so repetitive, other than that it's Awesome.

This app used to be decent. I have had it installed for years. Now it constantly crashes. This has gone on for months. I waited, thinking they would fix it, but it doesn't look promising now. Edit: Still constant crashes, and more ads than news. The news stories are listed with the same ones repeated when you scroll through. Getting ready to look elsewhere. They don't fix it and don't respond to feedback sent.

Not great. Used to be good, but constant crashes and umpteen ads in between news! Only reason I keep it is because I like Chris Tomer weather reports for Channel 2. If he ever leaves, I'm uninstalling this app. UPDATE: Oct 2020... When I read a story and click "read more" I get a blank screen. The same story is listed at least twice when scrolling for news stories. I put up with this only because there are news reports that I don't see on other news apps. But my patience is running out.

This news app is the absolute worst app design that I have ever seen. Opening the app there is a local sponsor full screen add popup. Don't know any other app that does this. In the app, text font is too small, very hard to scan over news items. Organization is poor, seems to be emphasizing viewing video, over reading. Scroll speed is way to fast. Hard to browse articles. When I click on a news item to read I am forced to deal with a popup video. Click the X to delete, and it comes right back.

I have been using this app for years, and with every update it gets worse and worse. Having a message pop up every time the app is open reminding me to check my notification settings is beyond annoying. Even more annoying is have to click "Continue Reading" for just about every article. Then have the screen jump to about the middle of the article. Time to move on to 9News app.

This used to be my go-to news app. I don't know what is going on with it now but it's absolutely worthless. The app is constantly closing/crashing. It doesn't matter if you're scrolling through the news feed or reading an actual story. you can get through maybe a sentence or two before it crashes. By the time you open it back up and find your story again, it's already crashing. I'm quite surprised that this has not been addressed or fixed by now. Very disappointing and frustrating

Annoying message everytime opening the app about checking your settings. Also the share button does nothing anymore. You can press it and then try to share via text or email, but nothing will populate. It used to work. But you can read the news. Update June 4 2020....Just updated. Still have to dismiss the nonsense message every time. And I think the ads are larger. No improvements.

App closes out News stories randomly and when you want to read a full news story or after selecting "read more" option page never loads. Lately the who app closes out, very frustrating. I'm finding myself using app less because of ongoing issues. I'm about to just delete the app and find another local news source. Something more reliable.

They have good story's and are complete on their story's but.......putting up with the app. freezing up and having to back all the way out, then restart the app. Just doesn't make it worth it. Just to freeze up again in 2 our 3 story's. I ran their app. for 2 yrs. notified them several times, all on deaf ears.

Only local Fox affiliate app I've seen where you're forced to close an ad as soon as you open the app. Recently, half of the articles won't even load, saying my device isn't connected to the internet, when it is. This is the only app I have with this issue.

It is very annoying 😡 to have the notifications box allows pop up you when open the app. I set the notifications for what I want to I'm interested in and not have to be notified to what your preferences are. I like your news stories but if this isn't fixed I'll be deleting the app. Please fix this.

2 years later, tried it, still locked up. Fix this for Android Loved this app. so buggy now. cannot use it at all. all it does is crashes. tried to reinstall, stilll crashes. uninstalling

App refuses to open most of the time past the logo being displayed. Guessing related to the annoying full screen ad you have to close out of every time you open the app when it does work.

This app crashes every time I use it, usually within the first 15 seconds. Oftentimes, it will lock up my phone entirely. It's extremely frustrating. I love this news source, but I won't be touching this app again until they can get it fixed.

When a commercial comes in the screen goes to, "we'll be right back". The problem with this app is that you never come back. It will stay that way until you reopen the app again. Please fix it. Your signal is too weak in Frederick Colorado through my antenna especially if it's windy or raining.

Awful app..Breaking news notifications pop up, I go to read those specific news posts, but it takes me to some other garbage or some other news, can't even find the article it popped.. Had to uninstall. Pure garbage.. I hate to give bad views but have no choice in this case. Also way too much clutter and junk ads. Thanks for the effort though.

The repetitive ads make this ap painful to use. If the AP has any issues while in use, you are forced to reload it and suffer through them even further. The volume also seems to rise when the ads are playing. Love Fox 31 Morning News, but wish they could provide a better experience via the AP.

This app keeps crashing. You'll be lucky just to get the headlines. This has only been happening for the last week.

The app constantly crashes in the middle of reading articles. The main page shows the same stories (literally same 4-5). I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Nothing helps. Needs to be fixed!

Decent app, however the notifications are ridiculously annoying! With the excepting of breaking news, I have all notifications off (INCLUDING WEATHER)... Yet somehow I get a dozen notifications every day for WEATHER! I guess I just have to block all notifications from these people. Also, it asks me to update notifications EVERY TIME I open the app!

App crashes frequently. This issue has started years ago and haven't been fixed by the developer till August of 2021. I think this is the only app that still crashes on my mobile, after another one from abroad was recently fixed.

I love my news. This app works great to give me updates on weather alerts..an emergency alerts..all news stories. My only complaint is that you can't watch live news here. It will take you to main website and tell you to select here for live news if the connection is not available. I have never been able to watch live news through this app. But not a biggie cause they link you to the live news.

Was a great app until the recent update. Now it crashes every time I open the app to get the news. I have cleared the cache, and uninstall then reinstall. Please fix the bug to make compatible version with newest software update.

Blanks out when trying to read full story. Its very frustrating to click on a headline to read the story just to have it tease you for a few seconds and then have the screen go blank.

Can't go full screen (greyed out) when watching live stream from this app, so I google Fox 31 live stream. From Google, full screen works. Don't need the app because that is what I mainly use it for. Also, since Pie update, picture - in - picture doesn't work. (Note 8)

I love fox 31 news, my favorite, But EVERY TIME I'm reading a story it just stops, and I get a message saying it is directing me to other stories so I never actually get to read a whole story!! Too bad. I have to go to another news network.
