Terrible app...amateur design and support. Some things never change. APP won't open and the design is still simplistic. Uninstalling

App was great for a while, now it takes forever to load. If it does load, the stories are there but the pics aren't. Also constant duplicate stories, some that stay on the board for weeks. Not sure what has happened over the past few months but this app is going in the wrong direction. I am editing the review to add that while reading a story the words will just disappear after a few seconds of reading. The page refreshes but the words don't come back. Nothing has changed since the first review

It WAS a great app for a long time. Now it's awful. No matter how many times I save my notification settings it won't send me any until I manually open the app then it won't send me anything once I close the app. It began to run very slow. Now it won't even open. Did they stop maintenance on the app?? This was my favorite news app. Now it's not worth the download. I guess I'll just use the WFMY app and the WXII app. Those work great and send me all the notifications.

The app has been updated with a whole new look. I hate it. It's more reliable to open the story that the notification shows but he way the ads display is maddening! You have the option of viewing the story or reading it. If you choose to read, as you scroll down, the video keeps opening over the text. It should stay closed once you close it. I've had to re-close up to 8 times. Most of the time it's the news story but it's preceded by an ad. The app is easy to use but I hate the way it works now.

Can't watch any videos. Goes through the ad then starts another ad, will repeatedly do this and not show the actual article video. You can hear it in the back ground through all the ads playing over it. VERY frustrating when you cannot watch the corresponding video. Please fix this issue immediately.

This was a great app. It moved easily on to the SD Card on my phone and kept me up to date on local news, weather and sports. Now it no longer transfers to my SD Card, hogs the little space I have with videos I don't want and floods the news with video ads. Can't recommend it anymore.

Stop with the reminders every time to turn on alerts! I don't want alerts and have to spend time just turning off your reminders each time when I start the app. Will be deleting this app if it isn't corrected soon. Too many non breaking and foolish alerts constantly. Too many ads just to view a story.

keeps crashing, wont open. update: I uninstalled the app and reinstalled, still crashing after opening, so guess I am just deleting the app, maybe be back if ever fixed, goodbye reinstalled 7/5/2019 still not working, crashes when trying to open update, installed again on 8/3/2019 still a crashing piece of trash, nobody bothers fixing anything, don't waste your time

Reliable news. Nice format because when I go back to the main page after reading a story I am taken back to where I left off in the news feed (not the top of the main page). This app used to close often and now it reliably opens without issue.

Closes story while I'm reading it, and not just one but MULTIPLE STORIES. Uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times...it was annoying to see the same story twice, but at least it would let me read them! Whatever you "fixed" needs to be refixed! I have only looked at Fox 8 app for years- guess I'll have to switch to WXII 😒

i love my fox8 app....i get all the latest news almost as it happens. people really need to stay informed of incidents in their areas. UPDATED 07/06/19 Im still loving my fox8 app.....its about the only news i read....sometimes it acts up and i have to close it but it opens right back up and where i left off at!!!

The old version wasnt great, but better than the "updated" version. Took something that wasnt great and made it worse. Thanks. After giving it a chance, my opinion has changed. Its even worse than I thought. Cant even email anyone to tell them either, uninstalling this piece of garbage, actual rating is negative 5.

This app updated overnight and now does not respond to my tablet's screen orientation setting. It is sideways and completely useless. Hard to understand why viewers are deliberately driven away.

For months now every time you go to click on the continue reading under all the articles it goes to a blank screen. You would think with all the money they have they could come up with a better app. So disappointed 😠

Your app keeps telling me that I'm not connected to the internet. If that's true, how am I sending this message?

This App crashes every time I open it. I've had the Fox 8 app for years, but it stopped working and no one is fixing it.

Worked great when I first installed it, now while I am looking at a story it reverts back to main screen and I have to start over. Keeps repeating this action!

Love the station, despise the app. It constantly closes in the middle of a story or won't open. Very frustrating!

It keeps crashing constantly and I get a notification saying Fox8 keeps stopping which is annoying overall a slow and God awful app I'm very dissatisfied with this app. I strongly recommend you do not install this app

Ive watched Fox 8 most of my life and I trust their reporting. The people who give us the news everyday and night are very personable and I will absolutely watch no other news station. I also trust and love their weather reporting over any and all others. Fox8 is the absolute best there is!!!

Can you please set up more ad's, pop up ads and whatever other kind of ads you can find. There are not enough currently. Thank you for listening to my sarcasm.

Great app from a trusted news source BUT the alerts do not always take you to a link in their app. That requires fixing on their end.

What a joke application. Try watch live TV and get error messages saying no news UPDATES. Also weather applications sometimes not working. TV side is the best but on line is a joke. Need fix it now.

Freezes up all the time. Samsung S9. Still freezes up after uninstalling and reinstalling it.

Every time i open the app I am forced to either "update" my notificatiions or else "dismiss" the message. Nothing I do prevemts this message from coming up every time I open the app.

The site comes up but never leaves the bright red and blue Fox 8 WGHP start page. Uninstalled and reinstalled and still nothing. Time to start following a differant News.
