As MANY others have said, the "daily" view is NOT working!Other options still work, but the "daily" view is blank! In my opinion that's the most important. I was hoping it was just temp & would be fixed, but still hasn't after almost 2 months. I've tried to uninstall & reinstall with no luck. Apparently the app creators don't care b/c even w/so many complaints, it STILL hasn't been fixed. If the issue isn't fixed soon, I'll find another app to get the weather for the week. PLENTY of options!
UPDATE IS AWFUL!!! Updated two days ago and it was working but not very well: slow to respond and the radar took forever to start playing and was glitchy when it did play. Now today when I try to open the app all I get is a black screen. PLEASE fix this! Every now and then I'll try other weather apps but I always end up coming back to this one because the setup and display and functionality is by far the cleanest/neatest out of all the other weather apps. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIX IT!!!!
Please fix the radar alignment with the map!! It is completely off. It can be raining and storming in my town, and on your app it looks like the rain is 10-20 miles or more away. It used to be perfectly aligned, but now it is useless. I suspect the last update is what messed up everything.
Smart Chevrolet of Madison (sponsor) needs to get their money back... We watched Fox8 on tv very early this morning, they are calling for snow tomorrow night... ok... BUT... All day today (now 3pm) the app shows nothing... They never truly update the info accordingly... Always similar to the above... We're done with it...
Installed the app during a recent severe weather outbreak. The app worked well but caused an issue with my Note 8 where it would not stay connected to wifi. Data on wifi stopped transmitting then started again (delayed) over and over. I force stopped the app and had no further issues so I then removed it. Also drained my battery. Would be a good app otherwise.
I used to love this app but since they did an update it doesn't work. They added ads as soon as you open the app but the app still work for a few days. Now it will not even load the weather data but it has no problem loading the banner ad every time you open the app.
The app takes too long to load. Other weather apps provide equal quality and open much quicker. The severe weather alerts also do not work properly. I have other apps that provide alerts consitently and in a timely manner. I would not recommend this app unless the severe alerts issue were fixed.
The weather information takes forever to load. I guess its because of all the advertising. The weather on the app rarely is the same as what is being reported on TV. There are much better apps out there.
With the latest changes, there is no longer a written weather on the daily weather. The sunrise, moonrise and sets mean nothing to me. Put back the details so I can plan better.
Edit - going down to 3 stars. this map has really been messing up alot. I used to rely on it alot but recently I cant. I'm 100% in love with the new weather maps. Its amazing ! Good job Fox 8
This app has turned to absolute trash in the last year or so. "Follow me" just loads forever, there are no video forecast updates, it let's me know it's raining about 10 minutes after it starts raining, and the daily forecast keeps disappearing.
Terrific weather app! An awesome straightforward clear-cut easy to use app with any weather information you might need. Whether it be hourly, daily or weekly.
App use to work great, but now there's a major delay in radar activity. example: it can be heavily raining and thundering, but radar either shows nothing, or is delayed by 20 minutes. please fix your app.
If you go to the part where it explains the daily weather, its from Dec 21, 2011. You have to do 2 more clicks to get current forcast. Annoying.....Please fix or explain, thank you.
Daily forcast doesnt show unless you open hourly forecast first. Really makes no sense at all. If I open daily forecast first I get a blank screen, but if I open up hourly forecast first, back out, and then open up daily forecast the daily forecast shows up. Obviously a bug that isnt being fixed
Used to be a good app. You have to click on hourly forecast about 2 times before the daily forecast will show up. Too man bugs in the app now. What happened???
The weather app is taking too long to download on my android phone and it's still doing the Pending. And the same with Fox 8 wghp news app too taking too long to download and it's still doing the Pending on the wghp news app.
This app three years ago was great, could tell if rain. Or bad weather was within 300 feet of my residence, really what happened put it back
Never accurate with rainfall and radar shows rainfall over the area when there is none. Temperature always correct.
No experience, just love the app and how it's pretty accurate in how the weather will be.
Like the app but would love to be able to make it ad free. Would pay to not have to deal with them.

Down graded my review again, this app has proceeded in going down hill. Nothing and I literally mean nothing in this app works at all.
Where's the Video content??!! Why even have that as a option if you aren't going to upload video content? I used to love this app because I could watch the weather forecasts, but without that function, the WFMY weather app is much better than this one. Please get the video weather forecasts working again!
