Gets to a certain point then the game freezes. I don't know what it could be. So I found out what the problem is. The game freezes completely only if u use the fast load or the fast save. It only works if u save in the game. Other than that it works fine!!
Riddled with crashes but that's livable if you reset the video settings to stock. What isn't is the Autofire button which if the deactivation is timed wrong the assigned button will act if it is still pressed instead of released. A better solution is what a lot of other emulators have and that is a Turbo Button (I like the one the emulator My Old Boy has). I have yet to see if this emulator has the unfortunate space station glitch RetroArch has with Final Fantasy VIII but I have high hopes.
There have been a few crashes when I used certain cheat codes with certain games, but that was easily fixed by restarting the game, and adding the same cheats a little later in the game. Other than that, I haven't had much of a problem with it.... YET!! Will raise or lower rating when I see if I encounter any more problems!
Good emulator but there should be a guide about how to set up hd settings without ruining graphics i found some changes when using different kinds of hd setting i want HD setting that wont add some glitches wanna play the game as it is normally with hd ofcourse..
Works extremely well and supports both built in memory card save and individual save states. Also allows you to change the graphics, and has full Bluetooth controller support. Excellent for retro PlayStation gaming. Just download and install your .ISO files, and you're good to go!
I've bought and used this app since 2018. So smooth with files and easy to create saves & tweek your game to how you want to play. Connecting a PlayStation Controller is too easy & already configured so there is no need to map buttons. I could go on forever how much I enjoy this app. Remember to download the Boot up file though. None of your games will run without the file.
Brilliant so far, can't believe how simple and smooth it is to play these old games on my phone! I'm having one issue though I hope someone can help me with. I'm trying to play Tiger Woods PGA Tour using my Xbox controller but I cant seem to get the analog sticks to work in the game for the swing of the golf club? Any ideas? Thankyou
So far no issues at all. My only issue is figuring out the bios thing to use save states. Seems it should he more simpler to use save states. 5 stars otherwise for me
I enjoyed using this app however it won't let me play suikoden 2 anymore. It keeps on freezing and it's frustrating because I'm almost done playing the game. Someone help me fix it please
The emulator is really great. Very good compatibility. Though, support for external joystick is buggy. I couldn't get the manual mapping to work. Moreover, when default gamepad is detected, analog doesn't seem to work. Also, there is some improvement needed for thumbnail code. Even if the game is deleted, it retains the same old thumbnail and doesn't update. Please fix these issues. It is worthy of 5 star rating then. Cheers to the developer.
I can't say I've found any fault in all the years I've used this. I've tried to find something better on my PC but I still keep coming back to this. I'm annoyed that I can no longer access ISO's and memory cards etc from my External Storage, but that was because of any Android change I believe and even that's become less of an issue with every phone upgrade. Wonderful app.
The emulator is the pretty much the best PSX emulator out there. However, the app hardly works anymore after the one ui 3.1 update on my Samsung phone. It constantly freezes and when I restart it, it will just stay on the black screen. It would be great if this could be fixed. As for your question- I'm not really sure if it's available for s10+
This app is brilliant and the developer behind it is incredibly dedicated. It runs all the games I've tried, runs them perfectly, and, additionally, I was having an issue with the analog controls on my Xbox one gamepad in Parasite Eve (a problem not specific to this app) and after a little bit of back-and-forth via email he managed to figure out and fix the issue. I can't recommend this app more highly.
This is the best PS1 emulator hands down. The Game Shark capability is very important to me. Great while using a gamepad! A few bugs are present but not damaging ones. I've noticed a few games "incompatible" but that may just be the source I got the ROM from. Reads 7z files only. I don't suggest modifying Game Shark codes without a computer though. They won't work, at least that's my experience. Easy process to set up the BIOS and games after download, although time consuming. Excellent app!
Great emulator. Very smooth and tremendously compatible compared to ePSXe on Android. Even supports CDDA properly. For those having issues saving settings or mappings. They seem to be 2 different issues. One is that there's a Native Controller Support option. This seems to recognise the same controller as a new one, every time you start the app, or a different game. The second is that it doesn't seem to be saving other settings. I found that it was my antivirus software locking that folder. So look out for that. Restarted my phone and tried several games now and the settings and mappings persist. Great emulator. I'd buy at 10x the price.
First off I love this APP. With that said the only problem that I have with it, is the fact that when I am playing a game for some reason the ON SCREEN controls always seem to completely disappear for no apparent reason. And they can't be made to reappear. This is especially difficult when I am trying to find the coin button to continue a game, at the same time the counter is running out. I am saying that the buttons are still there but they are transparent with the background. PLEASE FIX
Absolutely outstanding emulator. It plays all the roms I got for it with no problem. Very fluid and smooth gameplay. Cheat codes automatically available in the menu(so no searching the web for codes). I absolutely love this emulator. And hooking up your PS4 controller is a joy to use. It's got kinds of tools to help you with the graphics like filters and smoothing tools. I just can't thank the developers enough. Thanks for providing an extremely cheap way for me to relive my childhood.
Excellent interface and functionality! But the only problem is the failure to load the game data itself and it has to take me hours to understand loading a game! So I refuse to give it a five star. When like other good emulators it can scan and load by itself then it has reached the deserved five star rating! (Well done! Without people like you. The world wouldn't be getting anywhere soon).
I haven't used any other ps1 emulator, so I don't know what to compare it to. However, I am completely satisfied with this app. There are many options for customization for game play. Switching controls for each button was a great setting. Also, this works amazing on my razer kishi (external game controller). It immediately detects my controller once plugged in. Smooth game play, no processing errors of any sort. Plus they constantly update this app for bugs which is a plus. Worth every cent!
PS One had a big impact on me when the platform came out. Needless to say, it been a great ride to replay alot of titles i already played and play alot of titles i didnt have a chance to the first time around. Down loading to playing is pretty easy. There's a handful of titles that wont work. But maybe that'll change in time. But most of the big titles are up and going. Enjoy!
I like the app and seems decent. When I first started to use it, I had audio issues. They still seem to persist after testing a few audio options and there is a slight lag, especially when using a Bluetooth headset. I have yet to try a controller but will update when I find any issues. The menus are easy to navigate but the ability to long press a option showing a description would be nice for some of the settings as most would not understand what they do. I don't!
I do have to say it is very good. Been using it for years. I have been made furious because every time it updates, it deletes my saved games. Image being on disc 2 of ff7. and suddenly its all gone... unaceptable. Consider backing up the save files (under the .fpse folder) on a PC !!! re: nope only when it updates. Re re: they seem to have fixed it. Never lost save files again
I bought this for testing purposes, and it's disappointing that you can get better gameplay from RetroArch. This and it's counterpart ePSXe work incredibly well, but I feel stupid paying money to find out that I can get better performance for free. They both work on the Retroid Pocket 2 as well as my other Android devices, but it's mainly a redundancy to have either. Save some money, learn how to set up RetroArch, and feel better that someone else bit the bullet so you don't have to.
This emulator was working perfectly on my Retroid Pocket 2 running Android 8.1 (LineageOS) until the recent update. No matter how many configurations changes I make, the left joystick just seems to move by itself. I have tried switching from Digital to Analog and back, re-mapped the analog sticks, re-installed the app. Nothing works. One difference I have noticed is I would previously be prompted to use 'Controller 1' when I loaded a game every time, this now only happens when I reset all the settings (or reinstall) and setup the emulator for the first time, it works during that time but after closing and re-opening the emulator again, I am not prompted that controller 1 is detected and the left joystick moves by itself again. When I try other emulators (RetroArch) there is no issue. I really like this emulator, please rollback whatever changes you made to the way controllers are handled so I can use this again as my go-to emulator for PSX. ***EDIT: For now I have rolled back to version 11.219 which is working perfectly. Please let me know when a new version is available so I can test again (tested on 11.222 released recently but issue still exists). ***EDIT 2: Native Gamepad support is enabled in 11.219 and works fine, If I disable or enable in 11.222 the issue with the left joystick remains.
Honestly been the best PSX emulator I've ever had and I've had quite a few. However, a very recent problem I'm having that's making it unplayable which is why I've knocked it down a star. Playing Monster Rancher 2, which involves alot of disk swapping as you spawn monsters using CDs. I used to just use the change disk option to spawn a monster from my other games but recently when I try to do this, the game just freezes. Disappointing cause it limits me for this one game but brilliant app!
Great app. Runs the ROMs. Hasn't experienced any problems until today. Today I opened my game, went to the memory card slot, and my save file isn't there. Luckily I had saved multiple times so I didn't totally lose my progress, just lost maybe an hours worth of leveling up. Whatever, I'm just stoked to be playing Vandal Hearts again.(not the game that bugged out vandal hearts 2 is what screwed up not sure if it's the emulator or the rom) But all in all the emulator it's pretty good.
Runs smoothly, easy to set up, and plays any games I've thrown at it. But I'm having an issue with external controllers. Whenever I start a game, it behaves as if I'm holding up and left all of the time. This is happening on my Razer Kichi and Xbox bluetooth controller. I don't get the same issue when using the on screen controls Response: Wow! Amazingly quick response. It's an xbox one (original) with bluetooth connection The Razer Kishi is a USB C connection. Thanks Edit: Just downloaded your new app (FPse64) and I don't see the issue there. I'm happy with this as a solution
