FPV Freerider

Once its all dialed in, it's awesome. I'm using a Phillips USB pad, with a ONN TYPE-C to USB adapter, and have the app on my Chromebook and my phone and it connects and plays well on both. I paid the extra when my gamepad worked on the lite version !!! Only complaints are that there ARE more areas, but i wish there were options for long-range flights, and more options of quads. The one in the app seems like an economy one, and there should be an altitude hold option for beginners and DJI pilots

This is the first simulator I have ever used and I am very satisfied with it. The gameplay is very smooth even on my relatively old phone. Although I don't have a cable to connect my transmitter yet, I learned how to do LOS flips with my real drone by practicing with the touchscreen joysticks! The only thing that I don't like is that the gravity feels too weak. Maybe in a future update we have a greater range of gravity to set? Other than that I think it's a totally worthy purchase! Thanks!

Never flown a real drone so I can't comment on the realism of the simulator. What I can say is that I'm addicted, and even though there are only a few maps, I never seem to get bored of this game. The touch controls aren't terrible, but I'd love to have some customization options over the size and placement of the simulated joysticks. The game runs perfectly when I connect up my XBox controller. This > some PC FPV sims. I'd love the game to log my lap times, or maybe let me race against a ghost.

Graphics and controls get a 3star rating because the graphics are so-so, and controls non existent. Without an rc radio with USB out, and a phone that accepts it as controller, this game is not for you. That being said, with my X-lite, this game is the perfect on the go training tool. You do need find your 'right' settings, the defaults are good start but not comparable to my kwad.

Great sim on the go. However, I'd like to be able to play more maps or have a map creator. I know its a mobile app but it'd make the sim much better and give more options to pilots who are using this to learn fpv controls. The maps are somewhat barren and small so I can't get as much practice as I would like due to limitations.

One of the best fpv simulators, but.... The only thing I can see that doesn't work is the VR option. I tried it with many vr goggles and the two images are slightly shifted so you can't have a clean vr image, I hope it gets fixed, can't wait to use it with vr! I think a good option would be to be able to shift the images to match them. Edit: vr problem fixed! 5 stars!

Great game, although it lags a little bit on the island and car park map, even on lowest graphics. I have a mid-range phone (Xiaomi Mi note 10, snapdragon 730G, 6 GB RAM) so I think it can handle lowest graphics well. I'm pretty sure that it's an optimalizaton problem but I'm not an expert in mobile game development.

10/10 game! Super fun and cool. Helps to learn how to fly a drone! Recommend to buy a USB controller so you can get the best experience(but you can still get very good without the controller)

This is a very good simulator, really enjoying it. There's some bugs on some maps, the island map hangs alot. You cant play on it. But generally its a good simulator. Worth it for beginner pilots

Just bought this to help me learn the mechanics of flying a drone... my actual drone hovers in place when I let off the throttle, with a ps4 controller at least, the drone in the app is never hovering... unless I'm missing a setting, it would be awesome to add that feature as a setting, or maybe i just need more practice... thought... with joystic untouched it hovers in place but could rotate, throttle up it raises and throttle down it drops. Am I missing something in settings?

Freerider is a great platform for beginners right through to advanced flying. A great way to get stick experience/time developing the muscle memory needed for better fpv flying. A far cheaper option than learning with a 5" quad breaking equipment. With an old pair of vr goggles and my Taranis QX7 and the options you have in adjusting all the settings for the flight characteristics makes for an overall immersive flight experience.

pretty good simulator but the race mode doesn't work. A few more scenarios would be great, as well as different copters. However, it's very cool that you can connect your transmitter and fpv glasses if you have the right usb hub. Very good for training acro wothout damaging anything!

Awesome game that can be used with your favourite transmitter and be headset making it remarkably close to the real thing. İnteresting maps (you'll need a fast phone to render the most complex ones without chugging) and a nice lap timer makes for a good experience. Development recommendation: have other (AI or real human controlled) drones flying at the same time or at least include a ghost lap so I can see where I flew on my last lap. Thanks!

This is the first REAL drone simulator I have found for a phone app. Spend the $3.00 on the full version and use with a USB MOGA controller. If you mess with the settings to match your drone you will have a great practice device that won't trash your drone. Totally worth it! I plan to recommend this app to everyone at my work that is Drone training.

I purchased the full version after trying out the free version. The free version worked perfectly. However the touch control sticks in the full version do not respond properly making it unusable

Unfreakingbelievable!!!! Plugged my FRSky X9D right into my Note 10+ and it works better than my PC simulator. MY only issue is that needs to resolve is the USB adapter to plug the X9D in gets in the way of a VR headset but that's a Me problem. Thank you for the great work!!!!!!

I usually play liftoff on my pc and wanted to try a sim on my phone. I downloaded this a while ago and wasnt impressed compared to liftoff however, I recently tried this again and since the updates its so much better! Feels much more like flying my quad now. My flysky i6 works perfectly with it. I hope they keep updating this now. For the price its great to get started into the hobby. Great work guys. Keep it up!

It's great but it just won't flip when I flip my phone and the headphone jack goes right into where the stick is and makes it really uncomfortable to fly when I'm in public. It'd be nice if it could flip upside down depending on phone orientation.

I think its really cool like very much it's great for beginner on FVP I use mine in acro mode and it took me some time to be able to flight but I did it I'm giving 4 stars because when I used it with my Radio for some reason reason the sticks are in the wrong way like is in mode 1 but is in mode 2 I want it on mode 2. Anyways is a great simulator.

There's a bug at the meadow map. At or near the table launching area, the ground is non-existent xistant. I keep falling through the the ground whenever I land on the grass. Edited: Changed to fast collision mode and no more problems!!

Getting the CONTROLLER on screen is a little hard to see with great eyes sight words toooo small include a link where to buy a controller cable would be a help great way to practice in acro mode. Yes thank you found some on Amazon and realized I have to get both dongle and OTG together. Thank you for your know how.

Works Great for FPV but line of sight training on a small screen is not good, I think a great improvement for understanding how the drone handles would be to give the user a behind the drone experience that you don't get in the real world. 5 stars if this app is modified to do so! 😎👍

I've had a hard time playing due to the BetaFPV Lite Radio 2 has had calibration issues. The gimble movement exceeds the screen and wraps around from top to bottom. I realize i need to make new set points for low, center and high to make it work. The problem is Open TX 2.2.4 cannot comunicate with my transmiter to configure it.

Acc fun and settings are good. I used it with touchscreen not with a remote coz im planning on getting into fpv so im "practicing" to an extent very reallistic control an motion. Maps could be a little bit bigger tho. Good job to developer 👍👍

I think this is a great simulator! especially when connecting in your controller to it! but one recommendation is to create a course in the city! so we can building dive..
