This simulator requires a high end device.Note that this is a RC flight simulator, not a game. You might find that the controls are hard, but that's because it's made to mimic real life. It is highly recommended to use a good physical controller.

This is a demo with one scene only (the desert). The full version of FPV Freerider includes six sceneries and a lot of more setup options for rates, camera and physics, as well as a 3D flight mode for inverted flying. The quad in this demo has deliberately rather sluggish settings, in the full version you can tune it precisely to your liking.
Touchscreen controls support mode 1, 2, 3 and 4.Mode 2 is default input:
Left stick
- Throttle/YawRight stick
- Pitch/Roll
If the simulator doesn't work on your device, it doesn't work, simple as that. Most probably nothing to be done about it. Giving a low rating does not help.
If your device supports USB OTG and you have the right cable you can try to use a USB gamepad/controller for better control.Physical controllers are configurable between mode 1,2,3 and 4.There is no guarantee that it will work with your device/controller, please try this free demo first to see.
Controllers that have been used successfully include Xbox, PS3, Moga and Logitech gamepads, Realflight and Esky USB controllers, FrSky Taranis and Spektrum radios. Please use this free demo version to see if it will work with your particular setup.

The about this in the reviews, the Dev wrote an excellent in-depth tech analysis explaining specific details what the app is and isn't, and also explained how to make use of the app and what works with the app. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles because it's not the full version. So, bottom line, the information is on how to use the app, and if it should not work on your device, after trouble shooting. Then, it just doesn't work! Try a different device if you want to use the app.
The physics and graphics are pretty good but the only thing that is left from the physics is the rotational inertia. When you are rotating and you stop touching the joy stick from rotating it stops completely. The movement inertia is good because when you are going fast and you remove the throttle it still keeps kinda going forward; not the same for rotation. That's it for now
I was going to buy this if it was accurate to real life and had the settings I need. Unfortunately, the demo version is so deliberately crippled that I couldn't see if it's realistic or not. The demo also locks you out of the settings so I can't even see what would be available in the paid version. Also, the "self leveling" stays on acro even if i click the button. This might be an awesome simulator.....but this demo version gave me no way to evaluate it. I bought a different one instead.
I've never flown FPV before but I ordered one to play with. This demo, even in it's limited flight time, was enough for me to start getting the basics. Smooth controls and it looks like it reacts the same way as you see in videos of real FPV.
I have no idea what other people are saying, i found the drone to be amazing and the controls don't feel sluggish at all, it's really fun to fly if u figure it out and with some practise it becomes very easy very enjoyable and realistic and graphics are good too i like it 👍
Want to get in to fpv drone flying looks fun so I gave this a try but the controls for it make it to hard and not accurate when pressing up it slightly goes to the left or right which causes big problems when trying to fly through posts on desert would of got full version but ain't no point if can't get past to gates. seen some one using a proper controller looked a lot better that way more accurate
i was able to connect my transmitter to my phone with OTG cable and it worked. made the game much more enjoyable even though the throttle has some lag in it (maybe because of the free version?). other controls worked just fine and i'd say the full version is well worth the tiny sum of money.
Awesome game that can be used with your favourite transmitter and be headset making it remarkably close to the real thing. İnteresting maps (you'll need a fast phone to render the most complex ones without chugging) and a nice lap timer makes for a good experience. Development recommendation: have other (AI or real human controlled) drones flying at the same time or at least include a ghost lap so I can see where I flew on my last lap. Thanks!
This sim might have saved me $100's of millions. Well a lot. LOL I went through Josh Bardwell's turtorial, and quickly found out that acro mode is all that will make you comfortable, once you make the leap. Before you've fully "made the leap", I couldn't even GET to a gate, much less go through one. But it's not hard, it would be fine for self leveling practice, but I had more than quite a few crashes that would have happened outdoors, and the drone held up fine. LOL
it is what i was searching for. an app for practicing drone flying. i love it. the controls are very responsive and cool. it really feels like i am flying my own drone but on my phone!! there is no need for a controller, just play with toutch! i love it!! and it is just the free version!! i cannot imagine the paid or the pro version! i will buy it for both supporting the creator and the app!!!
I wanted to try the demo version and then go for the full version.. developers set the demo version in un usable condition.. so definitely not gona go pro version.. What i meant is: I wanted to feel how the contols are.. i felt like its too clumsy and not stable and i got a note the controls are intentionally kept wobly in free version
this is an excellent Sim! They really nailed the feel of flying a quadcopter. I've gone from struggling with basic turns on my old sim (too twitchy, bad physics model), to figuring out how to power loop almost on my own within about a week.
This free demo version serves its purpose. I used an Xbox One controller via Bluetooth. Everything works and the app is surprisingly good. The price of the real version is very reasonable, too.
The violent tumbling when crashing is a bit too violent. Apart from that the simulation aspects are really good. Edit: Jeez I was meant to press 4 stars sorry about that the simulator is really good and surprisingly accurate after some more use.
Five stars for ad free demonstration and the paid version pays for itself in replacement drone spares, in the first ten minutes of gameplay! Well worth trying this free version. You do need a fast large phone or ideally a tablet to really appreciate the graphics enhancements of the paid version. Nice one devs!
Its the best simulator for fpv on Mobile, i like it.It would be nice if you could change the colour of props on los mode, i coudnt barely see the orientation of the kwad in my mobile screen, its good enough on the pc(the orientation), but bot on the mobile, ive asked abt changing the prop colours already in a thread, but u said it would be on the next version, but it aint there,Im hoping for change of prop colours in the next version.Plus the kwad looks vintage.Overall the sim is good.

How can we assess it properly if you deliberately make it sluggish and feel awful. I could understand a timed trial version or one with annoying ads every minute or two, but I don't get the make it fly badly thing. How do I know it will fly well in the full version? I see you responded to a similar comment, to me it would put off beginners too as it responds so badly... like a second delay. I am an experienced pilot, so that argument you posed before is a little flawed.
Pretty cool actually. Just downloaded it and I must have selected the touch screen mode that opposite to my mavic but still fun to have a go at. Will do more research into compatible controllers first, but will be purchasing the pro version.
It's been 2 year using this and recharge version. But something not exist, i cant use my Switch on the other instruction Example on angle Switch . It seem other channel tx isnt Working here.
Really enjoyed by using controller, it works well with my BetaFPV Radio Lite 2. Don't forget to turn on OTG before connect to the radio. Sad thing is we need to pay to get the other maps.
Please design a Mini 2 version of this game so people like me can practice flying this DJI drone and be able to get better when weather conditions are not great. That would be amazing and you'd get loads of downloads I guarantee! 🤞🙌
By far the best fpv sim on android. I started with this before buying the higher end sims on pc which i have hundreds and hundreds of hours on. Perfect if you want to test out the waters of fpv.
The game is nice but as I see in other reviews, it is said that the full game is paid. Plus, it is too difficult to simulate the drone on touch screen (smartphone).
It is so addicting. I bought the full version, it's really fun to play. The controls are very responsive. It felt like i was actually flying a real fpv drone. Good thing i got to practice first before i buy dji fpv drone.
Works well on poco x3 nfc. I have issued before with my jumper T-pro, turns out it the problem was Android 11 USB things . And after some research on reddit, i was able to solved that problem with disable/turn off all things on setting-additional setting-accessibility. Hope it helps if you got same issue. Already purchased the full version and really enjoyed it!
