Payment handling is just bad and slow I linked my credit card to the app before this. Upon receiving request to pay X amount, the app asked me to add a card although I've added previously. What?! Next, I changed the payment mode to paylah. Payment went thru. But it didn't show up on the stall's system. So the cashier said the payment didn't go thru. I paid again via credit card via the terminal. Ended up paying double for a single meal. 10 mins later, the app said payment received. >:(
Simply ridiculous and unbelievable. Despite so many negative feedbacks and complaints reported almost 2 months but still unattended. If can't even bother to have a proper support to fix issue. Why bother to even launch this this app in the first place. Reported since early March, Can't login from any account i.e. Facebook, Google. Keep throwing error. An exception occurred during a Web client request. This issue has been more than 2 months at least.
I accumulated the rewards points more than 100. During today lunch time, it happened FR Reward app server service errors and I mistakenly thought that it was my app software having problem. I went to uninstalled and reinstalled the app, end up my rewards points all gone and become zero. Please fix all these problem and return me back my rewards points if you want me to continue use it.
Hard to use illogical app... Too many steps and confusion. Strange logic. In the end? Forget it! I used Fave to pay (linked to credit card) and that got me my rebate/return discount. Maybe you guys should review what you want to do (collect $ easily) and what the customer just wants to do (which is to pay and leave immediately) then find a simpler way to do it without pissing the customers off....
My wife mobile work fine with this app but not me. When she set up also spend time, after scan QR code and make payment, choose left icon to process paylah express which is wrong. Need to choose right side paylah instead. Very confusing! Need to select $1 coupon before process payment. For me, Open app and immediately close by itself. Uninstall and install again still the same.
I installed this app a few months back but it always aborted a few seconds after i launched it, i uninstalled it. After few months, still the same error after i reinstalled. The app is really useless while Food Republic's marketing team already heavily marketing this "unworkable" app in all their food court outlets.
Complicated app with small buttons and non-sequential flow of transaction completion. Whenever there are available valid rewards or vouchers, the app should clearly highlight their availability right before payment, not hide them behind a separate page.
All the promo codes never worked in the app. If the maximum number of promo is fully redeemed it should at least pop-up to inform, already tried a few times with minimum spend of $6 and every time get charged the full price without promo applied.
The most disgusting app ever I encountered. It advertise repeatedly all overon each stall, it offers 10% discount with it. It turns out, for only first 3000 user and each user is rewarded only once at most. Total fraud, shame to DBS paylah, FR and all its associates. Worst encounter ever, never imagine they would resort to such a cheat advertising scheme. Shameless!!!
Bug prevents payments. Anyway the payment is so painful. Both the merchant and customer have to be tapping away at their screens and hold up the long queues in a crowded food court. Really bad idea.
Doesn't work at all. I eat at FR all the time and everytime I try to link to paylah it just says Duplicate payment request. When I try to use the app it says I must add payment. I'm stuck everyday not getting any discount. And I reinstalled the app a few times already.
The rewards and promotions links seem to be broken at the moment. I used to go to the promo page to get the 10% discount but now it just leads to the rewards page. Is this a bug? I'd write this somewhere else but there's no other way to contact you that I can find.
For goodness' sake, educate your frontline staff. The app causes more confusion for your poor cashiers and they end up having to deal with irate customers because of this app. I submitted payment and it didn't show on their iPad. They insisted I hadn't paid when I had. APP FAIL.
Unable to use. Store initiated the payment, but phone is stucked at "waiting for stall to initiate payment" created an awkward situation when stall is busy, with long que behind, and stall owner get frustrated. in the end, paywave and everything settled. thumbs down.
Poor user interface and slow transmission. Paid twice for a meal because payment is very slow to show up on merchants app. Informed FR via app form but no response.
Works well when it does. But why does it require Paylah! to have auto topup? I had over $50 in my Paylah!, my food cost $8, and the FR app kept insisting there isn't sufficient balance. Ridiculous.
Worst app ever Qr code took very long to be detect and i try to put a distance away from qr code it could not be detected i must put very near then it can be detected but it took a long time to detect Plus the camera is very blur when scanning the qr code This is type of app not so stable still dare to release on the market FOOD REPUBLIC even your staff say the app is not stable at all Such a big organization but it can't make a simple app to work properly Seem like a cheap developer work
had to stand in the queue to download this app to get 10%. not user friendly at all. the 10% didnt automatically register when i scanned the QR code. had to call the manager to refund my 10%. pls just get rid of this app and use Paylah QR code directly instead.
Downloaded the app for the 2nd time. Encountered the same problem, app crashes as soon as it's launched.
The app took a long time to load when I used at nex. After paying for one store the credit card disappeared from the app and it can't be used for payment.
Unable to sign in since months ago and noted that nothing has been done. this is terrible. how can a big organisation like Breadtalk roll out an app and yet not provide customer support despite all the feedback.
Does not work at all, can't even sign up. Kept having a "No Internet Connection" error message even though I'm connected to either mobile data or wifi.
Cannot even login now. Even if the app does work. The food stall don't even use it to process payment. All my points expired without using it.
Paid using this crabby app for a few times already and confirmed 10% discount not working. Might as well pay using other credit cards to enjoy lesser rebate than to use this bogus app and paid in full price!
can never use my voucher no matter how i select. it will be better if it let me know all redeemed or something. but i just not able to select it no matter how many times I tried
Had to re-process the Paylah authentification over 3 times and still didn't work. Ended up paying for my food via credit card. Quite disappointed...
was installing until saw the "Fixed Duplicate Payment" stated on the version update. Decided against using. Cannot believe there can even be duplicate payment.
Very slow. Discount didn't input correctly all the time. Not user friendly
waste of time to install this App .. totally cannot use for the 10% .... 💩 don't wasting people time to download , create a new account , top-up $$ to paylah account .... all rubbish !!
Promos should be applied automatically rather than wasting time going through a few steps to select it and the green tick is so freaking small. Also default or last payment method should be set automatically as well, rather than asking user to select again. In short, the interface is not intuitive enough for a first timer to make payment without assistance. Please cut down on those unnecessary steps!
