Fran Bow Chapter 1
In the forest, Fran goes into shock over the loss of her parents and when she recovers, she’s at Oswald Asylum, an oppressive mental institution for children, and Mr. Midnight is nowhere to be found. After having a dream about her beloved cat, Fran decides to escape from the mental institution to find him and go back home to Aunt Grace, her only living relative.

A fine combination of horrible and sweet; I love the art and music. The adventure itself (puzzles, etc.) is pretty good--very good for a mobile game. The puzzles are sometimes too hard for casual gaming but you can easily find hints online. Highly recommended--as long as you're not too easily shocked. Split into parts for the play store, which works well: after the first part you know what you're getting and can choose whether to pay more.
Little Fran managed pull on my heart strings while guiding her through a plethora of areas, problems, and adventures. Now that we've parted ways, she and her friends hold a special place in my heart. The characters are lovable and varying which makes this game a real joy to play. The art is a visual treasure that just keeps getting better each iterarion. My only complaint is the game has ended and I find myself still wanting more!
(This review is for 1-5) If anyone thinks this is family friendly or too cutesy then rest assured it is everything but that. The story is very deep and will be sensitive for some people. But I really enjoyed this. The graphics and sound are well done. And though the story is dark it has a purpose. Everything has its place and nothing seems pointless.The puzzles are fun and having two "mental" sides to explore was interesting. I also appreciate getting info from almost anything you tap on. 😎👍
I love this game and I have since it came out, its fun and it doesnt get boring. There is an intresting story line that doesnt dull out and you become attached to the characters which is always fun. I have replayed all the games many times and I will continue too.
I bought all 5 chapters and it all worked out great and there were no game malfunctions or crashes. The game is creepy and so interesting and i love the story line its such an amazing game! Buying it was so worth it.
Sooooo underrated. Might be the best "point and click" game I've ever played. If you liked the Rusty Lake series you'll like this. Worth every penny. Desperately need more games like this. Clever, dark, and bloody, all wrapped in a sort of Alice in Wonderland esthetic. Highly recommended.
This game is very dark and I thought it would be really awesome, however after finishing chapter one I do not feel very challenged or satisfied with the game at all. It doesn't even feel worth the $2-ish to buy. I would rather pay $4+ for a complete game than have to purchase multiple chapters that take longer to download than play
Outstanding story and gameplay way beyond the average mobile game. My only complaint is that the puzzles are very difficult for the average person, but even then a challenge is good.
This game is fantastic!! It is a little glitchy from time to time, but the play through is amazing. It is the perfect mixture of cute and scary amazingly one of my favorite game series.
This really plays with your head, it's a sad and creepy and sweet game at the same time. I love these type of games. I'm a phobophile, so, obviously I'm in love with this. Also because I really love the concept, makes you beileve in things like ultra-realities, dark magic, demons, and everything is just crazy cool. Pretty dark and somber game, but I'm obsessed. Who knew a mental illness could take you thru different universes and realities? Pretty insane, but love it! Good job!
I really am loving this game. I had some issues and the developers took the time to not only reach out and help me but did so in a timely manner. Awesome! So worth paying $1.99 an episode. Fran is for those of us that don't want to game with controllers. Sweet!
Travel to the deepest isturbing parts of the human mind this game is very creepy and deranged but somehow "horribly" satisfying I'm not sure why I waited so long to get it I love it and the graphics are wonderful and the interaction and dialog are simply amazing and draw you right in
The game was actually a lot of fun but the price for how short it was... Not great. Will not be finishing the series because of this, unfortunately.
Beautifully macabre, FranBow is a legendary game. Each chapter is well worth the $2. Be warned, its a little on the disturbing side, may not be for everyone. I, however, adore it.
I played every game and it is all out ADDICTONG and wonderfull and I defiantly recommend it the pricing it defiantly under rated lol it's so good that it's price should of been way more not complaining lol but I'm very happy with all 5 fran bows and little Mrsfortune and I hope in the future they make more I highly recommend this it's a real brain tease and has a good story line and all out you can get attached to the characters like me lol
This game is so good! I have played through all of the games and it definitely kept my interest. The puzzles aren't too hard and you can always go to the internet for hints haha. 10/10
One of the best games out there. Love these puzzle games always have but came across this gem a few years ago, within 2 weeks I'd downloaded and played the other 6 party's to it n was Devo when there was no more. Please can you make more like this.
The look, the feel, the mystery, and the overall creepiness of the game is A+. It's a must play if you what something dark that makes you think.
I pretty much enjoyed the chapter. Difficulty was overall good and the story was quite appealing to me as I love psychological thrillers. Well done!!!
omg this is a great game i love love loved the storyline but it was really short and ill have to buy the next chapter personally i think 1.60 is kind worth it but it would be really helpful if it was cheaper or free overall i loved this and i am defo getting the next chapter!
Much darker and violent than I've expected. But it's defenitely an addiction within first 3 minutes of playing this game. My question is the name Fran Bow, the only other place I've heard that name is in the Japanese animation Mobile suite Gundam, where there is also a girl with similar shape and haircut, except her name is called Franbow. Is there a connection?
I absolutely adore the story and art I kinda wish there was a way to buy all the parts in a bundle but I'm fine with buying all of them! Thank you for this awesome game!
The puzzles are okay, but what it really has going for it is the spooky atmosphere. Hated the maze game at the end but it was skippable. Fairly short game.
The game and tone is very good. The problem lies with the price for how short of a game it is. It will add up.
This is a fantastic, beautiful, horrific, spectacular, unique, intriguing, and heartfelt game. It is beautiful to look at, fun to play, and you are invested in the story and the characters. I wish there were more games like this. The only criticism I have and it is a minor one is that I wish there were more puzzles to solve. Other than that I would give this a 4.9 on the terrible Google Play scale. Where you cannot tell the algorithm what games you do not want to be shown. Nice job Google.
