The app is good. I mean atleast it's not like 'YARN' which asks for money for everything. Few of the stuff I didn't like - I wanted to see the settings in the app because I wanted to change few things. However, I couldn't find that. And I really think that the 'NEXT' button which is seen in the bottom of the chat stories is a little bit old fashioned. It would be a little modern if you could not keep that and just let the people tap once to see the next message. Anyway, overall, it is amazing๐.
I love the stories, and the theme to all of them - they are so gripping! Everything is free, and it doesn't even need a WiFi connection. However, the only bad point about it is the occasional spelling/grammatical mistake, but then, what text story app doesn't? Pretty good. Not bad. There are way too many ads though. I understand that a free app will of course come with ads, but there's one like after every two and three texts in one story. There should only be an ad between each chapter or right after each story is finished. Then I would be satisfied and give a full five stars.
The stories are cool, the adds aren't in the worst part possible so you can read without getting mad unless it's just the stories fault. It's nice being able to read without a lot of trouble...and I like how the stories are short and then if you get to part to or whatever it would be fine if you just stopped. Another good thing about this app is that it saves you progress a lot better than any other chat story app that I have had before!
Really fun, long stories with excellent twists. This app is much better than other similar ones I've tried. Spooky tales! The editing is better than others- typos rather than translation errors. The only reason I didn't give this 5 ๐ is because of the way the ads pop up at the strangest times. Otherwise, pretty good!
It is an amazing app I've had this for over 2 years and there been no distraction I don't have to pay I totally recommend this but the only down side is that there's not been any new stories added ๐ but overall it's an amazing app๐
I like the app, but I wish that when I changed my screen's layout from horizontal to vertical, the story wouldn't start over and please include pictures, videos, audio calls and facetime. Also I want to write my own story on this app so please allow us to do so. But other than that, this app is amazing!
The story is too good and so addictive! The fact that it's free with a little bit of ads make me hooked! This is better than any other story app with small fonts, requires payments for another episode and too many unnecessary ads! I'm glad I installed this app. Highly recommended for those love scary stories without images or calls or videos for free!
I really like it but it needs some visual upgrades(menu is just bad and makes no sense to be like that) Maybe add the parts together as 1 book so u don't scroll trying to find where did u stopped. And you need to go through a spell check.. It says NOW instead of KNOW , or some S / ON / IN are missing.. Maybe also add some low background sound to make it more interesting.
Really fun to read. Some really good spooky stories but they need to update the stories more. I've read them all and they never seem to add new stories
I love the app. Love the stories, although sometimes there are a few typos and the text is coming from the wrong person, but it's not that hard to figure out what was meant to happen or be said. Not really scary in my opinion, more interesting and definitely keeps you wanting more for sure! Love it! Would recommend!
I love this app so much. The only bad thing is is that there is a lot of adds that pop up. Also the whole thing is free. You do not have to pay for the epesodes unlike some apps. Also you get 2 choses of what theme you want. 1 is scary the other is steamy. I love this app and i would 100% recomend it. Hope this helped.
gripped is one of my favorite texting app it bone chilling in a way its a great app to have exsept that adds keep popping up and they are so loud and mabye there should be like music or they talk when you press a button because i have to press it for every text messege and it's now very cool overall it's a great app and you should get it. I hope this imformation helps.
fun, easy. There are no glitches where you click and l BOOM! something else pops up. a few other apps have these amd it o so annoying. There are few adds. The adds that do show are quick and you can exit them from the beginning. Very Good App.
This is a five star app everything is free and the stories are great the app has some spelling mistakes but who doesn't! It's a wonderful app this is one of the best apps! You can read stories! But ads do come but there not like the Video ads! Also you can sit and read the stories for hours and hours this is a great app! Thanks for reading๐โ
Decent-ish...the stories lack a bit of imagination in most cases, but they pass the time. It's actually free which is a first. Should have an option to create stories for free too and have ratings for each story so you can read the best rated ones.
๐๐I love these stories, some of them are really creepy and scary I honestly really love that! I use to use this app a lot when I was 12 and read these stories.. yeah some adds pop up but not all the time, it's like a rare timing for an add to pop up on your screen.. well I hope you have fun with this app as much as I am!๐๐
Its a good idea but having to tap on the next button is annoying unless the screen is full. If yall can manage that part to where it automatically calls the messages until the screen is full then able to hit next it would be better. Gonna keep reading first tho :).
EDIT: I took off stars because the app started frequently crashing in the middle of stories. I think it is a glitch when an add is trying to pop up but it crashes the app instead. Good app but meh story endings. I love that the ads aren't too long or obtrusive and that there are a lot of stories. 7/10 stories have really sub-par endings though which is a let down. If the stories had better endings (and I don't mean happy endings, just better written endings) I would give it 5 stars.
Update: uninstalling as saw about 35 ads in just 10 minutes. Too excessive to cope with. Sorry. Orginal: It's ok so far but got to part 2 and no longer want to use app as getting jumps cares from very very loud sudden full screen ads every 30 to 40 seconds and its gotten highly annoying there's more ads then story at the mo
I am giving it a 3/5 because it does have good stories. But the only thing is is the ads. There's way too many and when it's near the end of the story and an ad pops up, it closes me out of the story and I can't see the ending. Also, there isn't many stories. But it's free and doesn't require internet!
Its great but a menu for choosing a story would help and for the texts to be proof read so nothing is wrong AND i would like some unquie storys all the ones ive gotten ive read off of other apps like this but spelling and words were missing and once the wrong person sent a massege that the other should have. Its greate if you havent been on other apps like this but kinda lacking that polish to it you know its kinda lacking in alot of places
I really enjoy this app. It is super fun to read and every sentence has a twist. The only reason I leave this 4 stars is because it has some errors in the books. But overall it is super cool and really fun. I would advise this to you if you like spooky storys.
