FREE Astro Clock LWP

The FREE ARTware Astro Clock is a Live Wallpaper clock and a real-time simulation of the inner Solar System, including the planets Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars to scale for either size or orbit. The moons of Earth and Mars (Phobos and Deimos) are included, without being to scale. Beside being a clock with date display the app is very educational in showing the inner planets and moons in relation to the Earth moving through the year. At each full hour an animation of the planet movements since the beginning of the year is shown. (it will take a few days after New Year to become obvious). Great for children, students and adults with an interest in Astronomy. Constantly see where you are in the Solar System! If you like this app you will love the PRO Astro Clock showing all planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune). The PRO version provides also extensive settings like AM/PM time-format, (widget like) screen placement, text size, animation speed, background color and many more options.
The Astro Clock is a very small Android app that runs well onAndroid 2.1+ devices with Live Wallpaper including Marshmallow. This and all other ARTware apps run well on Google's Nexus tablets and the Google Nexus phones

Pretty freakin cool. Only thing i could ask for, and i feel guilty for asking, is to be able to offset the for all the timezones. I'm not great at this stuff - but there are 24(ish) timezones, correct? (now that i am thinking about it, people could have set them up however they wanted - but theoretically 24) and i think your app only adjusts for 12? Are there more?

I find myself to be fortunate as your team had shown interest in my problem, that I noticed, but as you had solved it quite easyly, therefore no option left with me to further consider this problem, thanks again the team for providing a global level app, with good wishes. Sanju Kaushik

Is a great app, but would rather have it as a separate clock fixture over my favorite wallpaper. I

This is very good app. It will be excellent if you add zodiac ring around the solar system. in wallpaper view it will add more value

If I wanted to see the time, I would look in the corner of my screen or use a WIDGET. The clock part is really ugly, and there are just too many labels everywhere. Add options to remove said things and would be fine.

You gotta love it! Insignificant amount of resources used. And a LWP..and it's free.

I installed it when my phone was new and have kept ever since. It is kind of a larger map exactly where you are in the solar system. I keep it handy and compare it with Mr Star Chart app.

Very different, I love it. Any chance of interactive options? Touch planet, get info on planet maybe. Great app!

I like the wallpaper but there is one problem, I noticed the planets' names are all in one place and are cluttered, please fix it.

The simple design is a refreshing change from other apps' over-the-top attempts to impress. Looks very nice on Nexus 7. I'd like to interact with it more, e.g. fast forward time or zoom in on a planet. How about making it optionally function as a regular app or widget?

I like it very much and I think it is going to stay on my screen for some months. Does not take much RAM and CPU (i have quite an old phone). My kid also enjoys it a lot and I think this brought up some interest in astronomy.

This is a brilliant combination of clock, calendar, and live wallpaper! But... I have just upgraded my N90 tablet to Jellybean, and now the app isn't compatible any more! Please update it soon & I might even buy the pack. Devastated of Somerset.
