7 reasons why you should listen to the Book:
1. Hobbies
Many people will like to listen rather than read words, maybe you are one of them. If you don't like reading, try the experience with books to see if it helps you learn something.
2. Better remember
I have not found any convincing evidence that reading is better than listening (I know that reading is an inefficient way of processing information), but what I know is that if you combine both, you will get both. . The textbook will be great to supplement previous knowledge and reinforce information.
If you have read a book before and then listened to the version of the Talking Book, you will recall and reinforce more information. I've noticed this with a lot of books I've read and reviewed in the past.
For example, I have read and reviewed "Completing everything is not difficult" a few times, but some concepts are really stuck until I have heard its version of the Talking Book for the first time. I also noticed this with other books like "13 Principles of Rich Thinking", "Switches" and "Billionaires selling shoes".
3. Learn faster
One of the main advantages of the Book is that you can speed up information entry. I like opening at 1.5 times or 2 times and it does not affect my understanding. If you want to quickly get more information, this is a great way to do it.
4. Save time
I strongly discourage doing many things at once, but sometimes it can be useful and effective. Audio books are great for doing that. You can listen while you clean your house, fold your clothes, shave (yes, I am so weird) or anything else that does not require concentration.
It is especially effective when you have to move. I have heard tons of audio books from Anthony Robbins on the way to work and I learned a lot when I was stuck in traffic. In addition, it really enhances my spirit and makes me more involved in my work.
5. Advanced
Talking about this, like listening to good music can boost your spirits - so does the audio book.
Reading inspirational quotes and passages is great, but it's not possible by listening to someone who motivates you to do great things while you're studying.
6. Effective
Some books sounded much better than text. I find that books that don't have many concepts or biographies will be better than read.
Like "Good to Great" includes many ideas that would be really great if heard through someone's voice. You don't need to know the exact details of the study as long as you understand the key concepts.
Same goes for biography books - I often don't care if he or she eats breakfast every Sunday or where he / she goes to work, as long as I know the big events of his life and capture sequences that lead to his big breakthroughs.
On the other hand, I will avoid listening to books that contain lots of details and require you to record a lot, for example, books about neuroscience or how to write a book.
7. Convenient
Audio books are really convenient. You can have them on your phone, iPod, computer and in the car. This makes the content accessible and listener to the book that is being heard.
Whenever I read a book, I need to find myself a quiet place and almost force myself to stay focused. With Books, I find it easier to open it and start listening - regardless of location, noise level or time of day. It is very convenient.

I like the overall look of the app, it's better laid out than some others I've tried, I like that it's dark. That being said, I think the sleep timer didn't work for me, who knows I was half asleep ;) I like that you had the categies easily available, and the way you categorized them. I didn't see a way to cast, which is sorely needed. Also sometimes the buttons don't work, like to share a book, and then the 3 dots go no where. Overall, a really good effort, good luck to you!
Navigation isn't very intuitive. Don't like that it takes over my lock screen or all the "Try again"s it gives me. I *do* like that it will play with a black screen, that I can adjust the speed, and that it autoplays lists when a book's files are split into parts. HEY, what was that creepy "I miss you" notification? I had used the app less than a day ago! 😱
Good idea, however they are librivox books all read by 33rd rate readers who actually make them unlistenenable . If a book is in public domain, then surely you should find better versions.. There are loads of blogs where self published authors will have uploaded free audio books with really good readers available for free. Back to the drawing board. Shame could have been good.
The app provides you with many functional tools: driving mode, speed adjusment (even up to 3x), time setting. The books are great though with background music and warm and clear reading voice and they update the books everyday also. I can't find any audio book apps better than this.
Very good for those of us that can't afford subscriptions and expensive books from other Audio Book providers. Indeed there are many titles that aren't on the free app but there is still a good selection of books on the public domain. A good app and signing up isn't necessary. Thank you for providing this resource.
The voice of the narrator is very clear. I also like the flexibility to control the speed of narration and the app also remembers where we have stopped and continue from there. Thank you so much I really liked the app.
A lot of books are here, classics, although some of the books that I was looking for aren't here the app overall is still very great. The offline download works really well and I absolutely love the calm and driving feature 🥰

This app is great. But I have a problem. It kinda lags and I SEARCHED UP SOME BOOKS I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY WANTED TO READ and I thought, "FINALLY!' but then when I clicked those books it said they have been removed. Specifically, the Harry Potter series. I'm mad.
I downloaded all the apps and one by one removed them all except this one I don't Read very well (ADHD & dyslexia) so this app has open up a new world for me.I wish it had a read along feature so I could learn to read better with books I enjoy. Thanks for your hard work GOD bless

I haven't found a single book from my reading list, trying over 6 different titles and authors. But I've found ads and vietnamese mixed with english.

I tried to look up an audiobook and all it had was links to other websites and stuff and none of it was the full audio book. what's the point of that.
I was listening to a book when I went to finish it, it was gone. Along with everything else from that author...! I don't rate this any stars at all!
Don't understand why anyone would give this app a negative review. Easy to install, use , nice selection, search features , etc.. Great job.
This app is fine but it's book collection needs to be expanded other than that is fine for most other books that are on there but I wouldn't download this one for great audiobook options T-T
It seems as though desired material is not always available constantly, which "strikes" me as rather odd. That's why I took the score down a notch.
Absolutely amazing app I love to spend 2-3 hour every day on it. My listening and speaking skills of English improves very well.
I appreciate all the books. I recognize at least some of them as exceptionallly good reading material. The ads can get a bit annoying but I understand the need for monetization. My only complaint is the inability to remove books I have no intention of reading from the main list. Perhaps a way to move them to a secondary list out of the way, but still available for perusal would work.
