Free Classic Movies - Watch movies online free

Not all of app would connect, "Classic Flix 1" kept saying "unable to connect". Also cannot cast to TV, which was a HUGE disappointment! Movie listings are full of bad 70's/80's really bad movies...hello, not everything "old" is a classic!!! Also a lot of them appear to be foreign language versions of American movies. Not worth the time it took me to type this review.

Doesn't work with Chromecast. Some nice films listed, good variety, but not useful to me if I can't cast to TV like I can with another old movies app. But if you don't mind watching on your tiny phone screen, this is excellent. i appreciate the effort that has gone into it. Great way to discover some fine old films.

great app to watch the good classics. only setback is hitting the screen and it advances or rewind the movie, depending which way was swiped, left or right. it's the same with sound, but up or down. but, there is a good selection of videos from which to choose.

I just got the app downloaded to my phone and inventoried the available selection you have. Very impressive indeed. I think I'm going to have a blast with this incredible movies selection. Tried five times on several films only to have it stop in about 2-3 minutes. Even tried restart and manually jumping past glitch point and 2 minutes in it stopped. Is it missing an advertisement? Not useable. Fairly extensive, but jumbled selections offered. No easy download function to get around streaming glitch. Skip this one.

these classics expand and transit quite well - maybe some of the oldest monster flicks can be found, lurking, herein.. would like to see an archive of the less advertised ones, though, like food of the gods & forbidden planet; even obscure art festival winners (runners-up also) would be your unique collection.. eraserhead and raw meat are cult classics, to be sure..!!!

This is an excellent oldies station. Not only is it got great movies, but it starts from the very beginning of TV as we know it. It's also got series. Episodes classic commercials you name it? It's got it. And it's all free literally. I highly recommend if you like anything that's of classic nature.

Good would be better if you can add a feature to balance back ground with film lighting in order to keep back ground from washing out the film. Half the time all I could see was background and not the film.

Fantastic app if you enjoy these classics These are movies growing up I would turn off and glad I did because now I have the opportunity to watch some great films that I didn't give a chance back then. Thanks for bringing these classics back and best of all free and good quality.

you do have good movies , just a lot of repeats of the same movies wasting space when other movies could be added in those spots . i realize it makes the list look longer . Its just you go through the list and see the same movie as much as 5 times .

A wonderful view of early cinema. Added, are some films all the way up to modern times. Excellent plot, cast and other details, well done!

I'll redo my editing. You have *improved*. But still when I want to WATCH "Leave It To Beaver" as an EXAMPLE (I'm in the 60's episodes) say I choose to watch #64 ok, then I'll have no problem watching my FIRST TIME CHOICE I could see it and hear it fine, BEAUTIFUL! BUT when that first one is OVER and I want to enjoy #65 that's where the PROBLEM STARTS. When I choose to watch #65 I could HEAR IT but I COULDN'T SEE IT!!! As many times that I tried... the same thing happens. PLEASE! ANY FEEDBACK?

This was like the very first app I ever discovered that gave free movies and TV I was amazed and now I truly adore it and I won't let it go for anything throughout all the times this is the one I hold on to it just blew my mind that they were actually willing to give a great service and not charge of dime or a thousand commercials

Super good app. I use it a lot to watch silent films in public where sound and head phones is not an option. I hope to see 'Silent Film' as a genre to make looking for them easier.

Like the fact that you can get real old movies . Love the retro classic commercials, they remind me of much simpler times, that were good. Glad I found it.

When you can access mostly brilliant , for no cost a superb asset , just enjoy the history of film and it's free. Ignore some rough edges its what the application is all about!

the movies keep stopping and take you back to the beginning of the movie what you have to find where you left off only to have it happen again and again and again not good I don't recommend this free classic movie no good I gave it to Stars only because he has a good lineup of movies but you can't watch him cuz it keeps stopping all the time

I had given it 5 stars, but lately,the films either won't load or will freeze completely. I have other apps. This is the only one with an issue.

The idea of free classic movies is great but your app or server is total garbage making this site a complete waste of time. Films stop after half hour or so and that's it. Five times in a row is enough for me. Trash this site...stay away. Should me suspended from google.

Got some good movies and stuff, but can only play in portrait mode; can never be played on full screen in landscape mode. Bad news for my tablet.

I love watching these very old classic movies. The write ups are helpful. I'd love to have the remakes showing too, suggested to watch;maybe up to year 2000.

Every time I have tried to watch a movie on your app, it quits playing after a few minutes! I just reinstalled your app, after not having it for awhile.

Fantastic selection! I've been looking for the silent film "Sadie Thompson" with Gloria Swanson. Even though you didn't have it, the 1932 classic " Rain " with Joan Crawford was listed. I give this app 5 stars just for recognizing it's the same story and also a great classic!

I'm so grateful for this app for all of those good old movies that I grew up watching and that we hardly ever see anymore on television, thank you for this app that you have provided for people all over the world to still enjoy good sound movies the list goes on and on, an excellent excellent app thank you❤

Best old movie app I've ever seen. Very user friendly, easy to find genre broken down by year. Great selection of movies.

The best old time classic film noir movie app. It had the movie Side Street which other classic movie apps did not have. Also the video quality is very good. Thank you for deveoping such a great app.

this by far is the best app I have ever had on my phone not only do I get the best of classic movies my favorite is Bela Lugosi I get all the episodes of Leave it to Beaver which I have been watching for a solid week please do not change anything on this app.

Movie hadn't ended yet, but it was cut short 3/4 of the way through. I never got to see how the story ended. The movie then started from the beginning again. Disappointing!

I like how easy it was to operate and enjoy with my bluetooth. I liked the Red Skeleton Pledge of Allegiance and the back in the day commercials, good app!

I have just watched a bit of my first film it loaded straight away quick and very easy better than show box that does not work anymore thank god for your films easy for easy filmsto load and show the movies full 5 stars very watchable
