For the ones who love uncertainty! Lately once you place the order and make the payment..the order never arrives . after calling the call center you are told that due to a "Tech glitch" your order was not registered. good luck placing an order here... i have registered multiple such instances nothing has been done to rectify the same... If you are fond of guessing outcomes go ahead and download the app.
I've ordered just twice using this app and both the experiences have been bad. The first time my order went through and then I got a call saying the food item wasn't available in Foodhall and they cancelled my order. The second time, I was waiting for over 2 hours for my order to arrive. Their customer service is pathetic as no one responds. Zomato is wayyy better.
Had to uninstall it since it stopped working on my Android tablet device. If you want to retain customers, the app should be kept compatible with all types of devices and Android versions for easy accessibility.
Badly designed. The offer to use a promo code sent well after your first order has already been placed. Customer service is unhelpful and tells you to delete and reorder but there is no delete button takes time to get anything done from them, calling multiple times and long wait period on phone. Refund for cancelled order also takes time
The service is not that great as the delivery times are not maintained properly and customer service is always busy. Though it has a greater variety that it's competitors I'd rather get better service than more options to order from. There is no proper coordination between the restaurants and Scootsy which ends up spoiling your day and you don't pay someone to waste your time, waiting for them.
One of the few times that I've used this app to order, money was deducted from my account, my food wasnt delivered, no one was answering the helpline, and the "customer service" chat, Emil, said that they couldnt do anything about it. I called up the restaurant on the day i ordered to find out what happened, and i found out that there was an issue with the app, and that scootsy wasnt answering their calls either. The app even shows me that the order is not confirmed (its already been 24 hours).
Very very Bad Can't sign in. Can't sign up. Can't receive OTP. So basically this is just a waste app. They have no idea how bad their app is. It's hilarious to think that without a proper working app they still believe they can compete with other delivery service providers.
have ordered from two places and both places i have got a call back saying items not available - refund in 5-7 days. its a pain when this happens and you have guests. this happened on Scootsy thr last time i ordered as well. im going to stop trying to order if the app isnt updated with availability. This happens way too regularly on Scootsy!
good range of restaurants. but service tends to be poor. they have an option for timed delivery and always deliver an hour before. multiple times ive received orders for dinner at tea time. always choose cash on delivery rather than pay online
Too many problems. From poor quality of items delivered to incomplete refund application to wrong items in my order. If it's a single order you can blame the merchant but 3 out of 3 of my last orders missed the mark, I think it's time to quit Scootsy.
best quality food delivered by scootsy. other apps like swiggy do not have good restaurants on their list. Also their range of area is small. With scootsy you can order food from the best restaurants which may be a little away from your area. I just love the app, it's so easy to order not just food but also from foodhall and other stores. Scootsy Please maintain your quality service and wide choice of restaurants.
On time and easy to order. In the lockdown phase,need to have patience and understanding that they are coping with large quantities of orders and therefore may not get the time slot you expect,but besides that all is well and good. Thanks for your efforts Scootsy,keep up the good work.
I had ordered food online last night and paid by debit card and it has not been delivered yet. No one picks up on the helpline there was no refund initiated nor was there an apology call to inform of the cancellation. This is despicable what's the use of ordering from your app. There is no chat helpline to get immediate response and the driver says sorry I dont know what to say.
There is a technical glitch in the App. Any special instructions given - does non come on email. Its happened twice that ive put in a special request and the Scootsy ppl said that its not mentioned here. This technical issue needs to be resolved asap
its always chaotic ordering from scootsy! 75% of the times items are not available and they never have any idea. the customer service team is inefficient and clueless. tofay was the last straw and i will be uninstalling the app permanently. if youre thinking of getting this app please do so if having your mind haraased and your time wasted and money disrespected is something you enjoy.
They don't service Malad. There are better aggregators like Zomato and swiggy to deliver food. Also other online aggregators to deliver essential goods. Overall this app is useless.
Not professional at all. Don't order except cod, or else you won't receive your order and there won't be any refund. I've been waiting more than 3weeks for my refund and I'll mostly be giving up now cuz there's no way to contact the company or even give any feedback.
These guys are useless. Ordered from one restaurant and they called me to say the order is cancelled because the restaurant has shut down. You'd think they would be aware of that. Ordered from another one and they sent me a delivery confirmation. Then they call me to say that that one won't deliver on account of a festival. They are totally clueless. Would not recommend!
Worst customer service. Most indifferent team, always ready to cancel the order rather than finding a solution and servicing the customer. It's a show of having luxury restaurants with shoddy service.
It's useful but very difficult to find things. The categorization should be more detailed.
Does not allow you to move on from feedback for last order page. Cannot exit cannot submit. App opens ailutomatically on feedback page. Broken!
Scootsy has great tie-ups, decent delivery timelines, and above all else, a much better, more thoughtful and actually helpful customer service than its competitors.
I absolutely love the app and order quite frequently from it. However, since the last 2 months , I have been unable to open the app. It keeps loading categories and never really opens. Tried reinstalling, clearing cache, restarting phone. Nothing worked
