Free G-Meter

Very good app. The only things it needs, and the only things keeping it from being a 5 star app, is a single click reset button on the screen, instead of having to go through the menu. Also it should remember the settings when the app is closed and restarted.

It seems inaccurate. Like in the state of free fall, it should show 0 g, or at least less than 1 g when moving downwards. But it shows more than 1

One of reasons to have a G meter is not to exceed max G loading. It would be useful to have preset alarms for max low and high G, where the screen will turn red if preset max G is exceeded in either direction.

Far too sensitive. Completely useless in an aeroplane. Needs some form of damping.

Use often for flying, very useful!! My S7 measures accurately even on the high G scale!

How do I set this up so it will read G-forces while going around a turn in my car?

Simple yet great app, if there's a way to set it in fullscreen in potrait & also landscape that will be even better!

As far as app goes its easy enough to use. However its limited in its usage by the phones hardware and max G reading. I used it on a few rides at Alton Towers and the spiral turn on Nemesis is at least a 4G turn, but app registered only 2.8

Works great in my Ag plane. Perfect to insure I'm not overstressing the aircraft in turns. Thanks!

This is very easy to use and also very flexible. Can measure g's in any direction including perpendicular to whatever position your phone is in, so set it on your car seat and test the acceleration.

This apps is very very good.This apps help to measure g force easily.

This shows total acceleration including gravity, which means you can't read your horizontal acceleration without doing trig calculations. Also, on my phone, the earth is a 0.9g planet.

Not accurate. Probably because the accelerometer in my phone was never meant to be a measurement device.
