Free Guitar Tuner - Fender Tune

Excellent tuner, one of if not the best tuner out there with a multitude of free tunings including Drop D and Half-Step Down tunings, as well as many other ones (including many of the most 'widely-used' tunings which are free). I haven't looked at what purchases ar available within this app though I am very pleased with the free features it offers 'right-off-the-rip.' I hope everybody enjoys this app and thank you to the developers at Fender and elsewhere for this gem of a tuner application! =)

One of the worst guitar tuning apps from one of if not the richest companys of the guitar industry of all time. Big suprise. It takes forever for the mic to pic up the string and when it finally does the needle is all over the place. And thats if it even picks it up at all. Guitar tuna was way better. Just like their guitars, pretty much any other tuning app will work better, but itll do for now.

Excellent tuner! App multiple tuning options and easy to use. Works as good as most actual guitar tuners with no cost. Great option if you don't want to go out an buy a tuner or if you buy a guitar combo and the send you a cheap tuner I'd rather use the app.

I like this app because when I pluck each string multiple times as when I'm playing, it doesn't fluctuate all over the place like other apps. It seem to take the average of the frequencies.

Very useful app. I use it every time I'm about to practice to tune my bass. Occasionally it has trouble recognizing the E string properly, but I always get it to work in the end.

This app is amazing! At first it might just look like a tuning app (which is already pretty useful), but it also shows you Chords, Fender Tools, and even more. Would definitely recommend to any aspiring Guitarists.

If I could give a 0 star rating I would, your app is complete trash, tuner barely works. The app is not bass guitar friendly, tuner refuses to pick up the lower bass strings. Bounces all over the place when tuning, and when I double checked tuning with another app and 2 physical clip on tuners your app was not even in the ballpark. It's a shame because I love fender and this is just a sad excuse for a guitar tuning app. Add more bass guitar options like a section for bass chords and bass scales.

It took a while before I started to get to grips with it, the truth is I was using a digital tuner then it just ran out of batteries, so was in Just a no brained got to grips with it quite easily, overall a tidy bit of kit

The app is so inaccurate it goes against itself. The pro tuner says the string is good, but when I strum it sounds like I just randomly tuned the guitar. I then tested it with the auto tuner and it said it was to sharp.

I'm not sure why there's so many people that don't like this app. I'm a bass player, and yes it's not the best for that, especially the low B string, but the app that has so many other things from rhythms to teaching scales and chord patterns just to break the monotony of what I'm used to doing, and the interface is clean and easy to navigate. Great job Fender as always. Love my Precision, love my jazz, love of the bass.

I mean it worked really well. The only bad thing that was getting a little bit annoying was it took a while for the app to pick up the correct strings I was plucking but overall the app worked.

Very easy to use and is spot on accurate!!!! It also has several different tunings. And best of all you have several instruments to choose from. I love it so far!!!!

Having the luxury of having a tuner with great accuracy and the meter you watch is big and to the point. I tune multiple times back and forth. I like this app!

Kinda surprised me how good and simple this is. An easy to understand interface with a lot of tuning options. There's also the Manual and Pro tuner if you want more flexibility with your tuning. There's also the chords and scales table which is a very useful reference. I just wish that the metronome have more sound options like a simple electronic click. And also an easy way to adjust the BPM (like a slider) without the need to open another window. Thank you for this, Fender!

The Fender free tuner matches up perfectly with my Alverez mounted preamp/EQ. I was getting different readings with the clip on Boss tuner and realized it was a settings issue. Being a guitar newbie I'm considering taking Fender courses as well. I'll update if I do.

It works well of you dont have a tuner near by. But the metronome, rhythm, scale, and chord finder in the app are exellent tools for any guitar student. Good app.!

I like this tuner because of the options available to you in the tuning presets. I just wish they would add 7 string gutairs & up on here because im having to use the 6 string tuner on my 7 string guitar.

Unlike many free apps, this one still serves its purpose years after use, and works without lagging or problems. Thanks to the team at Fender for creating this simple, clutter-free app and for keeping it free

Auto tuning is awful. Said every note was out of tune immediately after it said it was all in tune. D too sharp, tune down. I tune down. G too flat, tune up... I tune up, rinse and repeat back and forth for 30 minutes

Very easy and convenient to use. I like the different options. I can tune my guitars and also the Ukulele with the same app.

Doesn't work with my Epiphone 12-string acoustic. It detects all the secondary thin strings as a high 'e' and so constantly tries to direct you to tune it to high 'e'. Also, when trying to tune the A string, the tuner goes from G to B when I'm tightening the string - it never detects an A. Very very frustrating.

Easy to use. Nice interface, adaptable to my needs. Still lacks the Bass VI E-E tuning in the defaults. Didn't lag or jump about like other tuner apps. 5/2020 I needed a tuner for a Squier Bass VI. I hope they add that instrument/tuning to their defaults. Downloaded a Brand X tuner which did have that available.

I've used this app for close to a year now to tune my elec.& acustic guitats and also my ukulele. And honestly it is an amazing free tuning app for reals. Almost no adds on it and for a free app that is very rare... The only reason it didn't get 5 stars from me is becuase two times a week it ask me to rate it right in the middle of tuning.. Hopeful by writing this that won't happen anymore after. Thanks Fender for not making us pay an arm and a leg..

I had just got my Squier II Precision Bass used. The strings on it are a bit worn in some spots, and I don't have an amp, but putting my phone right on the guitar for it to hear the notes worked amazingly. Right after cleaning the whole guitar and putting the used strings back on (until I am able to go to the local instrument shop to buy new ones), I used the manual tuner option to get to the correct pitches, then the auto tuner for it to hear the pitch and tell me if it was too # or too b.

Tuner works great. Picks up the audio well. Very accurate tuning. Has a lot of alternative tuning options.

Amazing! This app has helped me from when I first started playing and still helps, I can create my own tunings for different songs, I have recommend this to all my friends

Best app tuner, has the ability for custom tuning. Very sleek and easy to use.

Just down loaded it and compared to my other turners. It's right on the mark. I think it's a great little addition to my equipment.
