It's the best app for beginning but the ads shows too often and it also covered the app. That's very annoying. If I were the app developers, I'd move the ads to on top not cover anything on the app.
Really great app for learning hiragana, probably the best I have found so far. Although, recently I haven't been able to sign in using my google account. Every time I try it just loads forever and nothing ever happens. I will still give it a 5 star review because you can still practice without a google account.
It is a great app, but for the phone I am using at least (samsung s10) the ad banner covers the buttons above the word sponsor.
Awesome! Recommend doing it everyday like ABC's, makes things fun and interesting!
Very good for learning. Just too childish. Over all very good.
Great for beginners or as a refresher for returning learners.
This app is amazing it shows you letters and i love it its very usefull!!!
One of the best apps I've used to learn and one of the first apps I recommend to new learners.
Lovely and practical
It's hard to log in
Just 1... #THAT.MUCH.LOVE
I like this app for what it teaches, but it is more than that. This app isn't made by the English guy who hires linguists to help. It is made by Japanese people and it shows in subtle errors. I don't think these/this guy(s) speak much English of their own, which is likely why some spelling errors in obvious places have gone unnoticed... but I like that.
English doesn't make sense. Lock system works well, but is confusing at first (the first set look locked when they simply aren't cleared). Good writing practice, but no recognition practice first. Tests have random timers that are largely meaningless. Nice vocabulary introduction too, but why not use hiragana words with hiragana and katakana words with katakana instead of the current mix?
Great for beginners I use a few apps and find this one easy and fun to learn by. My 7 year old daughter loves trying to learn as well, and thinks the is app fun.
It's a good learning tool to start off with. I do wish the had a pay version to keep away the adds. I like the coin mechanic that rewards you for practice.
This seems like it was programmed by a Native speaker that really wanted to pass on beginner knowledge. Very well executed.
I love it right now because I need to learn more about Japan because am half Japan and am in Japan and I want to go to Japan school by now I can
Best app for beginner students easy to use and very interactive!
I've learn more with this app than any other and faster
It is the best app to learn hiragana
This was really helpful.
Nice app to begin learning
thanks
Free? To download yeah! Couldn't unlock anything! Not even a 1st lesson! And to get the cards take 1000 coins! We get Zero coins! But hey you can watch a video for one coin! How awesome is that??? So I look at the writing lessons and every lesson is locked! I have a granddaughter in Japan. She speaks little English so I thought I'd check out this app. This is a waste! So sad too, looked kewl. Don't waste your time. At least Kindly gives you 7 free days, lol. Sayonara! Lol. In reply to your reply... How did you expect me to write practice if I couldn't unlock anything?
Great app! Just like "A" for "Apple", the app lets me learn a vocab for every character I go thru. I have already recommended it to my friends but too bad it's not available for iOS devices.
I like it.... thx for the info for me to learn. I hope more information for me to get more deeply about this and also thank you for make this application
The game 100% helped me improve my memorization of hiragana (i only got as far as hiragana). I highly reccommend this app! I have an idea to improve the app: customization. A feature to select which groups to be tested on, choose how long the timer should be (or no timer at all), and how many randonly generated questions in total. For example, hiragana "b" group and "s" group, katakana "t" group and "m" group, 30 seconds timer, and 25 randomly generated questions.
