Free License Plate and Vehicle History VIN Report

Lame. All you get with this is the year make and model. Well, DUH, i know this before im entering the obvious information from the plate ive entered from a vehicle. You dony get owner info or anything like pertinent information and one can only actually perform a certain amount of searches before getting a pop up message that states you can only store 3 vehicles. I wasnt storing anything but still can not search anymore. Uninstalled.
Well payed in tonthe app about a month ago ran about a dozen vin number or plates as need for work. Then magically it won't run anything for me anymore. It claims I have a slow connection. But I've changed phone as well as connected to internet. same results. I've waited over a week to see if changes and nothing..
orto vehicle history app is so sick. it literally tells you everything you need to know about the car down to the factory it was made in. it's literally a timeline of the cars entire existence. it also tells you everything about the car down to if the seat belts are automatic or manual. it's freaking sick u gotta check it out. the only down side is the previous owners are not included but they do provide a cheap alternative which gives u the previous owners for like 5 bucks or something.
I would like to rate the 5 stars but it does not work for Canada. I have tried my Alberta vehicle and others but the app does not find any information? You can change to Canada and provinces, not sure if it works in another province or not? But not for Alberta. I am looking forward to any upgrades for Canada as the app looks very interesting if it will work for Canada. George Alberta Canada
This app here is my #1 Favorite! I mean absolutely my Favorite for finding INFO ON a tag number or. a VIN number. it's great and it's only.getting better. the only issue in I ever had was when I switched phones I could N.O.T FIND UR APP FOR THE LIFE OF ME. I don't know if it had to do with the name but I knew it started with the letter O and I knew what it logo looked like. I SPENT MONTHS FOREVER AND I MEAN I Really COULDN'T FIGURE OUT. I figured it had been deleted. thank god it hadn't
Very useful app. However, the Share and Download as PDF options do not work. Share button does nothing and the PDF does not open because it is an "invalid format" when I attempt to open using a PDF viewer. LG G8 Thinq. I would like to see the option to download reports come back in the future. I decided to buy premium, well worth it sine I scan a lot of vehicles.
A super easy, unbelievably accurate, excellent resource I cannot praise enough! Have been blue in face praising! I realize in this over marketed society the amazing FREE access! Wish I knew about this and will use it because it can't last much longer! This seems to good to be true!
I want to give it five stars however it is completely broken for me. It is stuck on a login loop and it times out colorado plates. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling a few times but nothing fixes it.

I have the CarFax app. CarFax has an option to save gas mileage and fuel purchases, but nothing else not found in this app. This app has a lot more information than CarFax app. Also, I get a "mileage discrepancy" on my pickup because my odometer has tenths of a mile and dealership put it in computer. That "pushed" the first digit out and caused the problem. Dealership wouldn't correct the entry. I wish these apps had a place for owner comments to explain discrepancies.
This is really quite an impressive app. Simplifies a lot of things. I would gripe just a tad about having to pay to find out the owner by tag, but I know the developer has to make a living too. Very nice work.
Did use this app every day. worked great until 2 weeks ago. Asked for either a refund or to fix the issue. Got the refund but really would have rathered the app be fixed. Creator of app seems to not care about his product.
It's a good app and help me alot but I was hoping you can maybe make it more clearer if the vehicle has been reported stolen and if not how am I supposed to tell it doesn't show up in the top list usually
Nice free app if you need to look up a plate, it'll pull it up quickly and give you the vehicle info. You can pay for a more detailed report but for a free app, I'm impressed.
This app works great until I paid for the upgrade.. now I can't sign in. it tells me that my emails already has an account. YES MY F#*king account. Took my money and shut me out.
Excellent app and highly recommended! Please stay consistent like this and keep providing greatness. I hope that one day I am not saying this app used to be great, but now...

Orto!....Wow! I LOVE IT! (End of Story, lol!) Undescribable! Dwnld it, have hands on experience....If that's what you're looking for, (when being used "wisely/right reasons") it's a lifesaver, literally! I rode in a car a few times, (That was a FIRST for me on that report, but VERY GRATEFUL for it!) But if not mistaken, in MY OWN words, that car...red flags all over!! Most likely used for an illegal activity as per the plates! I NEVER rode in that car or spoke to that person ever!!

Everyone I try to look up a vin or plate it loads for a few seconds, and then the app crashes, even after restarting the app and phone and Uninstalling and reinstalling the app
Great, works, does it's job, the only thing I would like to see is to find a license plate through Vin since I can find the Vin through the license plate, I use it for end-of-life documentation for scrap vehicles. Its quick enough it gets the job done and has only been improved since I first began using it. The creator(s) have done a great job developing it, and I try to reccomend it to those that can utilize it.
This is a very informative app and a cheaper alternative to a Carfax but there are two questions that I have: 1. When does the app notify me of a new recall? My insurance company informed my dad of a new recall on both of our family vehicles and it doesn't show in the app. 2. When are records (i.e repairs and registration) added in real time and we are notified of the addition immediately? If possible, can you please respond when you have the time? It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
lots of info. easy to use. but can't get past first screen to scan plate. pop up to upgrade won't go away . have to go to second screen to put in manually, even then it's not guaranteed yo work. sorry 2 stars.
I was curious to know what happened to my new truck after it was stolen because I never got it back. With Orto, I now know EXACTLY where it ended up. Great app I've told all of my friends about it.

Really good app for finding info on vehicles. I tried it on 2 of mine and the info was spot on including milage! Only downside is if you want to use it and upgrade, it's expensive. Maybe too expensive for what it is. If I were a repair shop or dealer it would make a difference. Update, after playing with it I discovered that while it will store up to 3 vehicles, it won't let you even search for others beyond that first few.
