Same issue everyone else seems to be having: when I go to open the app I receive the message "Unable to download content please check your device." I have restarted the app and my phone, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the app with no success. Waste of space on my phone. Micromedex's other apps work just fine.
Can't give less stars, but I would if I could. App was great prior, I used to be able to enter my new code to renew. I kept getting an error message that content could not be downloaded, I made the mistake of uninstalling and reinstalling the app. And now I can't even open it. FIX THIS PLEASE!
Works great - until you have to renew. As the 100ish comments concur, renewing is nigh impossible. You can pay (multiple times) but it keeps acting as if you haven't paid. The only way I can recommend this app is if you know you will only use this for less than one year. Anyone actually practicing in a healthcare field will eventually be disappointed.
I just had to renew my subscription. I paid and then it told me to log in, I log in and it says I have to renew my subscription, I click continue and Google play pops up and says I already own this item, and then IBM says Error and exits the app... If I click on get help nothing ever loads. so I have no way of contacting these people. The app is awesome and I know it's probably just a bug, I used to have them rated 5 stars but they legit took my money and I have no way of contacting them for a refund so I hope they see this review. I will change my rating when they fix the app
Just like everyone else I am unable to renew. I had this app for several years. When I went to renew this year I paid twice and it is still unable to download content. I uninstalled the app and re-installed. No help. I really did enjoy micromedex so this is a disappointment
Terrible. When i downloaded it I was supposed to get it free. I'm an APRN. So, i finally got tried if messing with them and bought it, they charged me 3 times for. I was able to get one set of charges reimbursed. In January, 6 months later, they want me to log in with password/ID everything I enter they say it's wrong. I was directed to the IBM support, then got an enmail they can't help me.
Using Android 12, was able to find a work around for the "unable to download content" message. Unsintalled current version 3.5, then downloaded and installed old app version 2.5 and opened the app with activation code. Then I updated the app again to version 3.5 from Google play store. No more error messages.
The problem with uploading new content was fixed. I emailed IBM and received a reply on the same day, telling me that they are aware of the issue and working on it. Today I received an email telling me that they fixed the problem and asking to confirm that the app is running properly. I really appreciated the swift and professional reply. I give you 5 stars again 👍🏼.
Do not purchase until they fix the app. I have been using this app for years and it has been great. This last update however doesn't work. I've purchased, refunded, and purchased again thinking I did something wrong. Its still telling me that I have to pay to renew my subscription and now I'm unable to get a refund from Google and there's no one to contact via the app.
I was prompted to renew my subscription. When I did it said there was a problem with transaction and that my payment was not processed. This happened 3 times and I was not given access to the content. When I checked my bank account I had been charged 3 times. When I called for refunds IBM would not help.
It's no longer updating or allowing me to renew the license. I've attempted to delete the data, uninstall then reinstall. Nothing is effective.
Adding to the list of "unable to download content" on Android. This app is indispensable. Please fix ASAP. Thanks
It's been fixed! I contacted the developer directly instead of leaving a complaint here as it doesn't seem they were reading any of them. It took them a long time but it's back and working great!
I've been unable to use my subscription as I keep getting an error message after I've paid for the renewal. Love this app, really would like a resolution to this issue so I can use it again.
No longer works. It keeps asking you to purchase the app. I've paid repeatedly but it keeps asking me to purchase again. I was able to get a partial refund. Avoid this app for now unless you enjoy throwing your $$ away.
Unable to update so deleted app and reinstalled and now it won't open at all. Emailed customer service and they acted unaware of the widespread issues. Terrible customer service for paying customers.
Dont uninstall because its not updating...when you try to reinstall, App is now broken. Will remove review when its fixed. Great when it works. Dissapointment when the app is nonfunctional for so long....
Unable to download content and told to check my device. I've used it for 10+ years never had this problem before now, what's going on?

I work as a healthcare professional for a local community hospital, but I could not gain appropriate access to this app. It would not let me go beyond the initial screen. Uninstalled.
I hate to give it a 3 star because it is a good app. However, lately I have not been able to update my password to update the contents. Always says the password is incorrect. I think the developers need to look into this as a lot of people are have similar issues.
