Well I downloaded this to see saved wifi passwords on my phone which it claims to be able to do without root. It has a number of analytic stuff for wifi networks in area which I can't speak regarding, they may be useful to someone else. Anyway, it did not provide saved network passwords. It just lists all networks available saved or not and has a "generate safe password" button that produces a random string everytime which is never the password.
Cannot find WiFi password. Useless. Says "you will receive a notification with the password", but the notification never arrives. Notifications are enabled for this app. Why is it so difficult so see the WiFi passwords that I SAVED on MY PHONE??? This information should be mine. This is a problem with Android, which shouldn't hide this info in the first place, but this app doesn't help at all either.
This is the second time that I have downloaded this app. I still have not received any kind of passwords since I downloaded it the first time. Not sure how it works but hopefully giving this comment the passwords will come in. I'm not sure where they will send the notification they say they will send you past the twenty four hours they mention. I am hoping to receive the passwords of the wifis around me. I think that if they do send you the passwords this app is one of the best ones so far.!!!!!
Whenever i asked for a WiFi password, a message would pop up saying that to make sure i wasn't stealing someone else's password i would have ti wait 24 hours, which was understandable. But the problem is that when i waited the 24 hours, the notification i was waiting for never arrived. I dont really know what the point of this app is if it won't do what it's supposed to, but 100% would not recommend.
Worst app ever. Now my mom has to cancel her plan because one router has the password but not the other. I tried to use this to recover it. Nothing. I waited over 24 hours, watched like 10 ads, and installed two apps. I turned off battery save mode and put the notification on my priority. What, is it still not compatible?
They make fool out of you. It will run a add, will do some mojo and makes you believe that it has found the password and will again make you to see an add. Than there will be a timer for 24 hours. When the timer finishes you will be notified of the wifi password but that never happens. Once you close the app the timer vanishes and nothing happens after 24hrs. You have to start all over again. Review 2: still does not work.
Please don't download this app. This app is totally spam and waste of time and storage. This never finds the password and it just keeps you in dark that they have found the password and will notify you after 24 hours. I tried this app 5-10 times and it never sends the notification and after waiting 24 hours it again starts the timer. So if I would have a chance to giving 0 stars, I could have given to this app.
I tried it on a LG V30+, Samsung S7 and they both get the message password found but a notification never appears, although I gave all the permissions it requested. It seems a scam application, by only showing advertisements. It doesn't provide any useful function but uses space and consumes data.
It's a total scam. I was trying to get the password to a Wi-Fi network and it gave me multiple and different passwords. I'm not a network operator, but I'm pretty sure Wi-Fi networks only have one password? None of the passwords given even worked anyways! Wow!
Why does it take 2 mins to read the plain text file where WiFi passwords are stored? This app is a joke, just Google where to find the file using a file explorer. I thought this would be quicker, but it clearly isn't
Useless. Didn't do anything at all. Just displayed a padlock with signal bars. Tapping it did nothing. Tried this 3 times. Don't waste your time.
Don't install the app. It is useless app. It only ask you to install different app to successfully proceed and I installl all the app. But finally they told to wait 24 hours to get the notification of wifi password. But they didn't send any notification. Worst app ever!!
This app is a scam and useless! I turned on my wifi and try to connect on my friend's wifi and it just shows an ad and i forget my wifi and i test it to connect maybe its real because i know the password and i open the app... And it shows a loading screen! I wait 1 HOUR AND I JUST UNINSTALLED THIS APP ! IT JUST WANTS TO SHOW SOME ADS
Annoying waste of time. 4 ad breaks while "extracting" the current password, then after all of that, they tell you you have to wait 24 hours for the password. Useless
After it finishes scanning and you've had to watch more than half a dozen ads it sais you will receive the password after 24 hours. Don't install unless you have all the time in the world to find out if that's even true.
No point in downloading this. I tried to find out my password so that I don't have to get out the bath to use the WiFi for my new phone. It didn't work due to 24hour delay, so I just had to do what I am suppose to do in the bath instead of watching Netflix. Sad
Worthless useless and bogus app... Tried recovering the password for my wifi...It kept making me wait for 24hrs then was back to square one... Writing the review after 2 days. All it does is shows ad for similar cheap products. Please don't install and waste your time.
It decoded the password (as it says) but it was going to be provided after 24 hours. 24 hours have passed and nothing! And then you are asking not to give you negative rating due to lack of notification if I am an owner of samsung s9?! Oh well, it's not even the phone that I have got so there you go, undeserved 1 star.
It's a good application but I gave it three Stars because of the delay. I have forgotten the password of my own network then also they took 24 hours to give me the password but in most cases I also never recieved any notification on my please be promising to send the notification if you are unable to send it then I recommend you to send a separate notification in such cases. Also the adds are really annoying too many adds ! after each and every scan.
