When it works, this is a great game! Sadly, the advertising sometimes gets stuck in a neverending Loop! When I first installed this software, it performed flawlessly. Now, I can no longer get the game to function. Each time I invoke the new game option, an advertisement appears. Then the new game option appears Again. Then another advertisement appears. And, of course, the new game option is only able to (drum roll...), yet another Advertisement. Restart, AND (drum roll) another Ad...
Pretty straightforward. Game is traditional Freecell and functions well, though I have two complaints. One is more backgrounds and card designs would be cool. I play this game a LOT and changing the visual once in a while would be nice. The other is any audio or video playing in the background gets paused when you start a new game which is super annoying.
Changing my review. I like the game. I enjoy the challenge. But frankly I hate that some of the ads come on suddenly with loud sound. I can be in a situation where that kind of audible invasion is very disturbing. So then I can't play this game at certain times. I don't mind dealing with the ads. But I don't like the fact that even when the sound is turned off on my game, ads still come on loud. Bad deal. I'm considering uninstalling the game, just because of that. 2 stars off.
Tried about 10 freecell games from the store. This one is the best so far.
Was great and addictive; worth 5 out of 5 stars. Now however, since it is updated to version 3.7 it is no longer fun to play; some of the card animations when they hit the pile are annoying and they can't be turned off, the play is no longer smooth but jerky, the card taps needed seem irregular and, especially, since it no longer keeps score, best times or any stats. Just playing with no stats it now gets old fast. Too bad I can't go back to the previous version. Now 2 out of 5 stars.
Updates are destroying this app. The Update places ADs over the undo function forcing you to click the ad when you try to quickly make several undos. Also the 'one tap automatic card placement' almost always will find a much worse spot to move on. You have to grab the card and move it to the best position. It seems the developers are trying to have the game work against you so your moves increase, which is not what you want! Very frustrating. I have lowered my rating significantly.
App is designed in a way that the undo button is replaced by an ad banner at regular times. The result is when you want to undo a move, you will very frequently, inadvertently click on ads. Apart from this misleading it works fine, but I will remove the app because of this and get an alternative.
This is a fun free cell app with an appropriate balance between game play time and ads. As with other freecell apps: it would be better if the priority for auto moving cards (with 2 possible moves) was to go to the stack that A) has the least cards buried and/or B) is most sequential. Too often the program chooses a pile that has a lot of cards buried instead of a longer pile that has nothing buried. Then I waste a move correcting the program, but not a huge problem.
Watch out for ads with one-click app install. I don't mind ads. I have a serious problem with app developers like this who allow ads that have one-click auto install of intrusive apps like Newsday. When an ad for one of these applications comes up, if you click on the ad before the "X" pops up, it will automatically start installing the app. This is just totally unacceptable. Worse, one of the weather apps tried to replace my home screen ui. The game itself is fine.
The ads can be lived with, but the game mutes your music even if you turn sound control off. So you switch to start playing your music, switch back to the app, then you get an ad. If your lucky, the music isnt muted again.
It's very relaxing and helps the memory for older people. A good mind game for problem solving too. I like it alot, and the commercials are just very very few, that's respectful. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars....I think it would be alot better accompanied by meditational music. Otherwise I'm quiet happy keeping this one!
I love this Solitaire. The game flow is quick and easy. I love the numbered games to play progressively through the games. I had to switch off the internet connection to get rid of the ads that are constantly in the way. Graphics is excellent and controls are excellent.
Very entertaining & at the same time your analytic mind would be working on strategic moves. Also convenient when u r about to complete the game as it automatically help u do it fast & easy. The only distractions are the ads, anyway the game is free so it's just fair enough. Thanks....
In the old version, the game was simple... I don't like all the extra like collapse columns... I don't think all the options are necessary. Also my games were almost in the 1500... And now I'm back to 1... Liked the KISS (Keep It Stupidly Simple) method in all these games... No matter how you dress up these games... Still not going to make a differences... Not going to make them more interesting....
The commonly used buttons, like replay, etc. are right where the ads pop up. So when you go to tap a game button, you accidentally go to the ad instead. So, someone is reporting to the ad clients "oh look, so many people clicked on your ad!" We didn't click on it-- we were tricked. And now the ads between levels are getting longer. I understand the need for ads, but the in between game ads and the "Tricked you!!" ads have made this game too frustrating.
I love this game but have deducted one star because there's no way of comparing my previous scores or times except my best one. Only 10 points are given no matter how well I do 😕 I'd also like to see other players' scores and times, like a position board, that resets regularly (maybe each month?) to keep me on my toes. This could be optional for those who prefer not to feel the pressure.
The first few games you play are ad free, but then you get an ad after every game. The ads are not horrible like other games I've tried. I don't like that I cannot control the sounds which interfere with bluetooth. I really dont like how the only the cards you can play are lighter. The others are gray.
Yes the game is very educational I was playing a Free Cell game and the challenge was amazing ,I were playing it for almost two and a half years I had more than 800 points because of the amount of Appas interference i.lost that so I am giving this one a try
Love the game. Just a tiny problem with one of your ads by Traffic Puzzle. After the ad of this particular game ends, it's background music keeps playing. The only way to stop the music is to quit the application from the background and restarting it again. There is no problem with any other ads.
I have been enjoying this game for months but they have changed the setting; forcing me to uninstall. Previously I was able to mute and close the ads between games. There is no longer the option to mute or close the ad quickly. If I touch any part of the screen during the ad, a new window opens with play store. The full ad has to play making the length between games 5 mins of frustration. Making it impossible to play discreetly because of loud ads disturbing others 😡🤬
Ok sofar. Graphics good not annoying. Ads @ min. update: a better version than most. Ads have gotten more frequent ( after every game almost ) but not annoying and you can navigate around them if uninterested. CB3 update: Best freecell game. 2/5/22 Well, tried to play music while Playing, but no can! I didn't give this app any permission to modify my settings! Matter of fact it doesn't even ask for any. It actually turns my player off!! Only I control MY phone! Aloha o'e! CB3
Game is clean and straight forward. Would have given it a 5 star but the Ads are everywhere. Before starting a game. Before showing you your score. There are even Ads within Ads. There are timers for the X (close) button. One wrong touch and then you go to Google play store. It's a pain. So unfortunately I m uninstalling.
Way way too many uninteresting adverts...used to be much less advertising...just get frustrated by visiting this app and game now...not how it should be....an ad after every game and 8 ads just now before I could play. Might as well scrap this. No league table could be a lot better so sorry 2 stars
I've been on 2other freecells. /The adds were over the top unmersiful. Everytime I went to deal new, cards I got intrusive ads. one add requires leaving the game completely to get rid of it. I didn't like the levels either. This game is fine. it is simple freecell, a few adds, but not as bad as the other Freecell games.
I'm all for ads and ftp apps... but they put the ad screen in a critical part of the screen and have it pop up every 10 seconds (max... could be 5)! As a result, I've clicked on the ad 3 times in the minute up to leaving this review! Very annoying... app is good apart from that! Would've been 4 stars with more reasonable app frequency/placement!
I really do enjoy this app. I even like the choices you get for the backs of the cards in the scenery. My only problem I have is not with the ads, but it's when a random card, it seems like all the cards with that number or that face card will start showing up in a row it's kind of annoying. Sounds strange, but playing the game you will see. It's like that no matter what card you're using.
Love this game, spend far too long playing it sometimes! Super relaxing, yet challenging, perfect game for passing the time yet keeping your mind active. Would like to see a version where you have a leaderboard of top scores and top times that include everyone who plays the game, not just your own stats.
First installed, this game works better than others with very few ads - hurrah! As you rack up more games, the ads become more numerous and more intrusive. So ultimately this game is just as frustrating and annoying as the others. Installed it again and played it a lot. I finally had to uninstall it because it got stuck in a continuous ad loop... it simply wouldn't load a game, it just played one ad after another. Strangely, I wasn't angry, instead it was so ridiculous I laughed.
