FreeCell Solitaire

UPDATE: For some reason, every time I stop looking at my game for fifteen seconds, it not only goes to sleep - but lowers the brightness on my whole phone, which won't come back until I go to my main settings! 😕Not sure if this was due to a recent update, but it's sooo frustrating. It's clean, which I like. Not a lot of bells and whistles - also good.

Wish you could choose difficulty. On other freecell apps, I can usually win a little more than half. On this app, my win rate has dropped to around 30%. I do like that you can take out the person on the cards. Wish spider solitaire had this feature.

Just downloaded this and it keeps freezing where the cards won't move. Very annoying. This has happened so many times and I keep uninstalling and downloading but nothing helps.

Its great. Good way to pass the time. Could use a function to tell you what pizzle number you are solving so at least you know what you have finished and maybe replay them again in fewer moves.

Totally Awesome. Never had Any kind of problem with this app. A good app to practice problem solving. It is complex, intense And relaxing at the same time, and friendly as well. Great game!!

A pretty good experience so far and I love that I don't require an internet connection. The graphics can be clunky every so often but overall a nice game. I do wish it was a bit more intuitive (stack all cards automatically as they become uncovered) and not give hints that simply move cards, but these are just cosmetic touches that, if included, would not affect the manner or frequency of my playing time. As for ads, they are not the worst I have encountered ...so far, so good! Thanks!

What did you change??? Ads are running on my phone even when the app is closed, interrupts any activity! Look dudes. I accept you need to run ads. But now, I close the app, and I still get intrusive popups even when on other apps! The only solution is to uninstall. I really liked this game and spent countless hours on it. Maybe fix it so it doesn't take over my phone completely. Bye for now.

Nice app, does everything it's expected to do as far as the look and the gameplay. But the ads are a pain and lately I'm getting offensive ones (weight loss product of some kind) as well as some that play sound even though I've turned sound off. I am disappointed that there's no option to upgrade to ad-free.

Still having same problem. I wait for the x on the ad. Close the ad, go back to the game and I can hear crowd noises, etc in the background. But the real problem is that when this occurs, the game play goes soooooooo slow the movements are jerky. I close the app and go back in and the problem is cleared until the next ad comes up. Pleas fix!

I love the game, and a few months ago would have given five stars, but recent changes have spoiled the experience for me. The problem is the ads. I don't mind seeing them - I understand that they pay for the app - but recently many of tbe ads simply do not stop! They have no time-out counter and no 'X' in the corner to cancel them. Unacceptable, I thought, and initially gave two stars only, but since Branium's excellent and prompt response I've revised my view.

I have been playing freecell for a long time, and this is the best version I have ever found. It doesn't have daily challenges, time limits, goals, or any other frills. It simply generates a random deal, so many of them are very challenging. I have played 78 games so far (and won 78), and I love this version because the focus is on just the game. I haven't had this much fun with this since I played it as a child with a deck of cards. It was called Eight Off, and you matched suits in the columns.

Makes you think, all puzzles can be solved, but may have to reset several times! Good luck!!

I enjoy playing this game, but having an ad after every level is very annoying. My solution to this used to be to play only in airplane mode so the ads can't load. However, a recent update has changed the app so that I still get ads even with no internet access. This is an absolute deal breaker for me and I will be uninstalling the app if it isn't fixed. I understand that the developer needs to make money, but pushing offline ads seems pretty shady to me.

I have a great deal of difficulty finding games I can play that do not trigger motion sickness. I love the solitaire games. However, I am tired of getting ads that take over my device for 10(ten) seconds or longer....especially ads for games that are not challenging. Where is the challenge in a game when the tiles you can move are lit?....or the colors are all numbered and the numbers are already on the picture?.....and why would I want yo play a game that will keep me awake for 3(three) day

The no-ad version is better, but it's basic solitaire. While away the time while you wait. 👍

This app is wonderful! It has smooth graphics, excellent gameplay, and a lot to choose from. There are no fancy backgrounds if you are not into that. I cannot count the number of hours that I spent trying to squeeze out the perfect play to get a win! The apps are between games, so they are little if no bother.

I was loving this game and gave it 5 stars. I wrote a review saying the ads were even pleasant. Now they've started running ads that are ridiculously long with a small deception built in so that you think the ad has ended and you can return to the game but if you fall for it you go to the play store instead. So sad. Please pull these ads or I need to find a new Free Cell. 😔

Terrific game. Unfortunately the ads have made it extremely frustrating. Ads that will hijack your phone. Ads that just don't quit. When I emailed the devs about ads hi jacking my phone they said it's only for 5 seconds! Then they said you can always use your phones home button. So essentially you have to close the game and reopen it. But then you just get another ad. I've had FIVE ads appear as I repeatedly open and close the game. If you can stand the barrage of ads you'll like the game play.

Brainium has been my favorite freecell for years but the ads are increasingly intrusive and annoying. At one time, I could dismiss them right away but now most have a minimum display time. Worst recent development is the ads that pop up with full sound that cannot be skipped or dismissed. As Brainium freecell gets worse I can see soon deleting it from my phone. In review responses, company says they are interested in suggestions to improve. Ads that start on full blast audio, fix that problem.

Sept 17 2021. Nice app, fun to play. Within the last week, the app now plays music after 30 seconds or so. This is most annoying, I have sounds in the app off there is no separate music volume. It even keeps playing 3v3n after the app had shut down. I don't play this game much because of this. Please fix this bug to get full 5 star rating. If this is not fixed soon I will be deleting this app after 3-5 years of play.

It is fun and easy to win. Recommend it to all ages. Fun to keep your percentage high.

I don't mind the ads but i hate the way they shut down my radio. Some ads just silence the radio temporarily. Some turn the volume right off, so I have to check the volume controls. Some pause the radio, so i have to close the game to reopen the channel I'm listening to and start it again. Sometimes the radio stops when i start a new game, i turn it on again, then an ad starts, radio stops again. It is infuriating having to do all three because i dont know what each ad will do.

A well implemented game. A small annoyance is that tapping on a card always sends it to the heap when possible, instead of intelligently deciding to keep it in play where that is more appropriate. My only real gripe is showing adverts with sound - if the game's sound option is turned off, that should apply to adverts too.

very clunky compared to Mobility Freecell which I also rated negatively because of annoying linksy ads. But Mobility FreeCell is much more elegant in presentation of the game. For example, when you have had a FreeCell game that shades books as in several cards made up into proper sequence to show the break off point between them and uncollated cards above, you miss it desperately if it is not done. consequently I would not use this application. looking for the right one that will be elegant

Best of the bunch - responsive tiles, tolerable ads making it free to play - greatly appreciated. Such a relief not to be bombarded with unnecessary and time-wasting gimmicks. Above all, some deals are not readily solved and can provide a decent mental work-out. Delighted to have found this version - thanks to all concerned. ChrisM

It's well worth 5 stars as it plays right now. I always check other reviews before I decide about which to play. This one gave good inclination it would be worthy. It is not as complicated to learn this game as I first thought. Might find, like many other games on here it goes downhill. As of now it is one of the best of Solitaire's range, when I first looked at this game I hadn't a clue how it worked, it took a while, but now I know the rules and I like how I can check my progress.

The app should include a feature to replay games which were lost or skipped. It would also make the game more interesting to give the player the option of choosing the level of difficulty: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced or Random. Add those features and it's 5 stars.
