Paid $4.99 for new version. I don't see any improvements. There are more choices in settings, but that doesn't improve game play. Multicard movement is allow when onto a card in the series, but not to blank column.
It's an excellent game and well worth the absents of "Adds". However, I'm reserving 5 Stars because at the same time that I installed this game, Google automatically installed their "Google Movies and TV" program on my phone. This "Google Movies and TV" program cannot be removed / uninstalled and it absorbs a great deal of space. Google is very similar to Walmart, we hate them but we're forced to do business with them, unless you're rich.
Been playing the free version for a few years now, scoring more than 1.5 million points, with very few losses. Got sick of the ads, which have become increasingly more annoying lately. Finally spent the 3 bucks for the ad-free version. Wish I'd done it long ago - totally worth it! I'm addicted to this game. Helps keep your mind sharp. I like that you can "undo" more than once, so you can go back and make alternate move choices till you win the game. I rarely give up. Highly recommended!
I wish there were more options for the card faces, as the two they have are not nearly as clear for quick eyeing/scanning as some other apps. It would also be nice if it told you how many spaces you're short when you try to move a group of cards but can't. Finally, I can't seem to get the bottom menu to stay open. Otherwise, it's a nice, ad-free version of the game with the usual features. The games are fun and challenging but solvable, as Freecell is. It'll work fine if you love the game but hate the constant ads in other apps.
I've been playing this game since getting my first android phone in 2011. The overall gameplay experience is fantastic and configurable to personal preferences. I especially like the option to use an image as the background. I was so impressed that I also purchased several of the other Brainium Studio games and pleasantly discovered that they are just as excellently crafted. Kudos to the developers!
Love this game, maybe too much. With the help of the back button I have not lost a game in a long time. I had the free version but the data cost were out of bounds. Either way it is still a very easy way to maneuver without extra steps. Love it, maybe too addictive but what else is there in these covid days.
Nice clean interface. Very relaxing game. Definitely worth the purchase price to avoid annoying ads between games. Would be nice if it saved and posted fewest moves similar to how it saves best time. Also, to add an element of excitement, it would be nice to get bonus points for finishing games under certain levels of time and for consecutive games won, e.g., 10,000 bonus points for finishing under a min, 7,500 for under 2 min, etc. No bonus any time over 5 min.
Good ad free freecell. I wish there was a difficulty option. See the Microsoft version for an idea. But since it's not Microsoft, I still give it 5 star.
This is the best freecell app that I've tried. No bells or whistles, but that's exactly what I wanted. 1 star deducted because on my new phone the app forces into fullscreen mode with no option to turn it off. This makes it so I have to swipe to see the time, and I hit buttons I don't mean to when trying to get to the nav bar. Please update! Otherwise this game is perfect.
I like that it's basic Free Cell and easy to play. It's not blocked by ads that are annoying and hard to get rid of.
Now running Android 10, it's a little sluggish. Maybe that is an optimization that needs tweaking. Also now have over 440 game wins and after each additional win the statistics changes negatively. Played 3 games right after another and it would have showed 445, but checking again it reverted to 442. Must be a bug that needs to be checked.
For the money it is an awesome game with zero ads! The gameplay is well worth the pittance you pay. I have a question though, the original Microsoft freecell had, I believe, 32,000 possible card layouts. Does this game offer 52 factorial possible games or is there a cap on the total number? Also, is there a way to play a particular layout? When I used to play in the 90's I found a level that I couldn't beat. I gave the game number to friends and family and no one could beat it. Way fun!
Simple and straightforward. No annoying goals or shiny objects. Saves progress so you can return. Lets you replay, but the clock keeps going, but that's more honest for the sake of stats. Card movement is a bit rough, but I'm still glad I bought this.
My favorite game! I start playing with 3 games, first thing in the morning. Six dice is by far the best version I have found!!!
Great game. Just what I needed for the past year to clear my mind. Recently, a small bug in the stats causes my won game not to be counted. I win and see the counter increment. I kill the app and reopen, and the number is back to before. Bummer.
Really good game. Auto completion turned off by itself and can't find where it is
While I'm giving the game a five star rating, I do with there were more customization options considering it's a paid game. I'd like to not just choose a photo for a background, for instance, but to choose how that photo gets cropped. I'd also like many more face options for the cards, as the two we're stuck with are sort of lackluster.
Pro: Enjoyable game, with an excellent auto complete. Cons: The idea of statistics is nice but most are wrong, such as time per game, moves per game. A big negative if you like to try for consecutive wins: all Brainium games have a cheat. To avoid a loss undo back to zero moves and select a new game, they don't count games you bypass this way. I've won over 5000 straight games, this cheat kills bragging rights. I'd like to save game and setup lost games for when I have more skill.
It's pretty good, would like a replay button instead of the undo button.
Good overall, but I have 2 comments. The timer starts as soon as a new game starts, even if you haven't moved any cards. Also, the timer doesn't start over when you're replaying a game; it keeps the total time to complete a game no matter how many times you replay the game.
Please please please start recognising undo as a move...part of the fun is being able to beat past scores, but if you can have a 10 min game with under 100 moves then it makes no sense!! Otherwise a good game and worth the small cost to avoid annoying ads!
I have played FreeCell from Brainium for quite some time and absolutely love it. Like all their games it has a great interface, clear design, and just enough challenge to keep me engaged. Highly recommended.
The game is for the most part challenging and enjoyable, however, it will not permit moves that should be allowed and if you hit the "suggestion icon" it will tell you that there are no moves possible when, I can see move/s which are possible and qqqshould be allowed. It would also be helpfull to provide some instructions regarding what moves are allowed. Bob R.
This is much better than the free version. It seems to be a bit more responsive without the ads. The ads of the free version often turned off the audio of the media player. One had to restart the media player to get audio back. It is enjoyable to play.
