Theoretically, FreeDCam is working on any Qualcomm device that has raw/mipi/qcom in picture format list and any MediaTek Device.

###FAQ:###Q:How can i capture RAW/DNG?A:In PictureFormat select one of DNG, if your devices is unsupported select RAW.
Q:Why is my Device listed as supported but it dont create a Dng file?A:In that case we dont have added the BuildModel. To get it click on Save CamParameters and open the .txt file and send us the First line.
Q:My devices is not listed but i am able to capture raw, can you add DNG support for it?
A:Yes we can! Upload somewhere a raw and the Parameters and send us the link via G+ or XDA
If your Build Model is missing send me an email with that. Then dngconverting will work soon

Tried many apps in the store, both free and paid...by far, THE BEST in regards to image quality - crystal clear, sharp image. If you turn denoise off, the level of detail is really amazing. No 1 for me. Using Note9 exynos. To the developer - only thing I am bothered with is I cant turn the shutter count down off to take a photo immediately after pressing. Nevertheless 5 stars because of the image processing. Keep this one up, best image quality after the lumia 950 I had. Good job.
I don't know if this is a bug or a missing feature but I am on Lineage OS 17.1 for Xiaomi Mi9T and the camera is in permanent landscape mode. If I shoot with my device in portrait mode (holding the phone regularly, not sideways), the shots will be captured in landscape so I'd need to rotate my intended portrait mode shots in an image editor afterwards. Anyways, I like this cam because it can access all the cameras of my device.
Since the update of the latest version of this application, the video recorder function is often force close. I have tried changing the settings but still have problems. I use a device with Nougat Android version. And now, since latest updates version can't be opened anymore.
One of the best camera apps for Meizu M6 Note. In my opinion, freedCam can replace the default camera app of any smartphone, if its features are supported. It has got many little features that make one's shooting experience better, for example focus peak allows you focus prescisely where you want by showing you a color overlay on the in focus objects, and another feature differentiates the over and under exposed areas of the image by showing vertical or horizontal line pattern.
I really like this app, but after the last update (July 11, 2020) every time I open the app, it doesn't remember the previous settings and crashes a lot more, to the point where I can't really use it at all. The phone I'm using it on is a Mi A2 Lite (natural, no rooting or anything)
So far the best app to capture high quality photos. I use the dng profile and convert to jpg via lightroom app. The results are astonishing. There is one caviat though. The camera always captures dark images it seems like the AE engine is having problem to detect the exposure.
Best camera app so far. Although an interval setting is needed for time lapse profiles. Basically remove the framerate setting in any profile set to time lapse, and add an interval setting to the manual controls outside the settings.
Motorola G8+ crashing whenever you press photo. zoom in camera 1 API not working. Had more functionality under camera 2 after set up this new phone, After reinstall, and very little functionality, with no focus.

I am positive this app is good. But it never worked for me. always crashes after a second or so. (Nokia 6 1st gen). wont rate negative before using it. So here's a 4 star. And Also cause Open source FTW.
While some features are buggy, this is extremely customizable. I can access all the cameras I need. Good app.
After updating this update, when i shot the photo in raw and dng 16bit 10 bit it show too dark. It has problem dark photo in my mi cc9 pro phone. I want to downgrade from this update. Previous one is very good in my phone
Man this is the most badass camera app i ever found on google play. Thanks for random strangers at dpreview for recommending this app. This is far the best free camera app available on the play store. Now i can turn off the sony xperia's denoise algorithm with this app.

Latest update utterly broke this for me. It was always glitchy, but offered unique features, so I kept it around hoping it would improve with time. But this version does not retain settings, can't switch cameras without crashing, doesn't seem to focus, just buggy and unreliable. Cannot recommend this one, but I do use the previous version from fdroid.
