The app utilizes the same bank-level security that protects you when you’re on Internet Banking. The app also features a unique 4-digit passcode setting that prevents unauthorized access.
GETTING STARTED
To use the Freedom First Mobile App, you must be enrolled as a Freedom First FCU Internet Banking user. If you currently use our Internet Banking, simply download the app, launch it, and login with the same Internet Banking credentials. After you successfully login to the app, your accounts and transactions will begin updating.

The near ultimate in banking convinience. Modern, easy to understand UI. Excellent camera focusing for remote deposits, secure and stable infrastructure without a single hitch in the many years I've used it. The only thing lacking in the app is the ability to distinguish accounts easily. The full account number is obscured for security, and only the last digits are available. Being able to enter a proper account password to see the full listing would be a very handy addition.
like the app when it works. most of the time I get a message about not being able to establish a secure connection so it never updates. Uninstalled and going to install again hoping that works. wish me luck! and any info on the error message would be appreciated. this happens when connected to my home wifi, other wifi, or even mobile data. frustrating!
The app is very easy to use. I simply went to my FFCU online site, hit deposit radial, then typed in the amount of the check to be deposited, then took a picture of the front, and the endorsed back with the notation that the deposit was a mobile deposit, then hit submit ... a total of about 45 seconds ....
It started out good when I first downloaded the app but the last update causes the application to freeze and crash while checking for an update that doesn't appear to exist. Possibly a compatibility issue with my older Android phone.
Having my account at the touch of my fingertips to do digital deposits is amazing. I can transfer funds between accounts, set up bill pay and more. Kudos for such a great app that is so easy to use.
No online statements. Deposits, transfers work reasonably well. I use the app a lot. I just wish FFCU had online statements, tax documents, etc too (and obviously that the app had them too).
Works well and has little issues. I would like to see the app make it easier to freeze, unfreeze, and order new debit cards.
This app gives you everything, all balances and payment options, and will allow you to transfer any amount of money you want. Not a set amount (like only $100 at a time)
Simple to use, hard to verify that it is not an imitation. No personal identity image, and a simple code to gain entry. I'd like more of a digital vault for my confidence.
I am very pleased at the service I've received, customer service and debit card department has been helpful. I had a problems when my account was set up but my issues were resolved in a timely manner. I was a customer of Member One FCU for 20 years and I'm glad I changed banks!
The app is super easy to use. I especially like how I can check transactions and balances on a daily basis. I also enjoy making transfer with little effort. Thanks!
overall the app is great and very easy to use. the only thing I would like to see improved is the atm locater section. its kind of confusing when you try to get it to seperate atms from just banks.
Love love love the bank.... the people there... hate hate hate the app. Glitchy. Non personal interface. Limited options compared to say, chase or navy fed. But i deal with it because i do love the bank
Great app. Simple to use any time of day. Access to all my accounts in one convenient place . Can initiate transfers between accounts any time of day. Good app
Excessive holds on checks, an antiquated mobile app, and speaking on a more broad scale, failure to meet my performance expectations. I switched to Member One, and now have a modern mobile app and access to money within minutes, not days.
Easy to use a good quick way to check your account, and if there happens to be a problem great customer service team to help fix it
Usually a great a app but today when I tried switching accounts the app freezes and I can't get in at all. Sent report to developers to address

Great app and great people, but my pixel 4 xl takes very widescreen pictures when submitting a check, even though it doesn't have a widescreen camera. Could y'all fix that please and add support for that device?
New update on 3/16/21 is absolutely horrible! Will not sync. Kinda makes it useless if i can't keep track of my money.
Hardly worth mentioning and my 5 star review will not change. Now this may be exclusive to my device but it seems that when a deposit is made, well, most if the time I am expecting it but it only notifies me after I open the app which defeats the purpose of a "notification" if I can already see it for myself.
This app is very easy to use and seems appropriately, however the budget section doesn't carry additions from month to month.
Convenience at you in fingertips. Quick and easy to navigate through each account. FF is my all time favorite banking institution.
Love this credit union and everything they do in the community. One of the last truly locally focused financial institutions. App works great for me.
Often have to take the pictures several times when depositing a check, but otherwise smooth experience.

The good: Easy to use, modern interface, & I love the remote deposit feature. The one big bad: I have more than one account with Freedom First. If two accounts share the same last digit in their account number, there's no apparent distinction between them and transferring from account to account can be frustrating. You can nickname an account, but that only is visible in the account, not when transferring from another. Outside of this inconvenience, it is a good banking app.
