This app is a perfect example of how NOT to design an account management app. It's extremely laggy, cumbersome, and conviluted. I am unable to perform the simplest of account tasks, because the app either times out or the ability simply isn't there. The app almost always opens on a blank, orange page that goes nowhere, and then you need to close and reopen it for it to work. The unavoidable two-factor identification is super annoying and I have yet to figure out how to disable it. I. Hate. It.

Before something changed, this app was working well. Now I can't contact Support, there doesn't seem to be a way to see what the non-plan (as in retail price) price of phones are and quite regularly, I have to stop the app and then restart it to be able to log out. I'll rate it higher when things are fixed. The latest update looks cleaner, but it takes longer for something to happen after a selection is tapped.

It takes forever to start. There is no option to use biometrics to login. It asks for an OTP, I understand that's for safety but why not let use the biometrics as the second step authentication (where available). The overall experience is patchy and the biggest issue is that is fails to start at all in most instances. One has to keep force closing and restarting the app to make it work.

Ever since an update a few months ago, this app crashes instantly each time it's opened. I send logs each time it does, so I'd be surprised if the developer wasn't aware of a problem. I'm on an Essential PH-1 running the latest version of Android, in case that helps anyone else. In the past, this app was great.

Viewing available phones and plans in unacceptably slow. Every page takes over a minute to load no matter how fast your internet and device are. Even in a browser on computer it's beyond unreasonable, so it's something on your end. Even loading pages that were JUST viewed takes more than a minute. It feels like instead of keeping it simple and fast, you tried going above and beyond at the expense of functionality.

It doesn't update correctly and constantly shows previous balance. After you pay it, shows current, like you didn't pay. Comes up with error messages after you pay almost every time!!! You need to call to check if payment went through... It used to work perfectly when it was Wind's account. What went wrong??? It doesn't look different but works so much worse.

Absolutely dreadful service, customer service is even worse on the phones it honestly came to a point where I had to yell because they were adamant about updating my information, not cancel my services as I repeatedly asked. It's so frustrating when you feel manipulated by a company and the moment that I already switch and try cancel they try everything to keep me but it's already too late. I've tried canceling twice in the past 2 weeks, for all the headaches about the service I don't recommend

Recent changes hurt the App. I used to get usage broken down in something like a pie chart. The numbers were still there. Now I get a line by line breakdown of usage with no grand total. i'm not saying more detail is bad. The main issue is I lost my clean and conciece breakdown. Instead of being presented with my choice of view.

The Freedom development team really needs an overhaul. I don't know of you're overworked or inexperienced but i have issues with these apps every day and on multiple phones. Some examples: - Wifi app doesn't even open in its current version. (fine in previous) - My Account app constantly says "under maintenance" during the middle of the day - Facebook login is broken - No use of Android Auto-fill - Even the icon isn't properly implemented, making it warped when you download it and it goes on.

Data is always dropping. The signal goes from LTE TO 3G to H+ to nothing, them back through the LTE, 3G, H+ signals. This never stops. Constant dropping of Internet. Text messages are sometimes 3 to 4 hours late. Family can't use text to communicate because we don't know if they will receive text. When using a app like Signal or What's App the data is always dropping and communication is limited. This happens every day. Horrible service. Nothing but regret.

So unreliable! If it doesn't freeze as soon as you try open it then it won't sign you in. And if you're lucky enough to get that far, it'll lock up and do nothing after you push the first button on anything due to server errors. Such a joke for 2018! Ive had it on my phone since 2016 and its never worked 100%. Don't even bother.

This app is one of the reasons why I'm considering shifting to a different carrier. It is extremely frustrating that the app fails to load when you click the icon and keeps loading until it reaches a timeout error message.

Thieves! If you like money stolen from you then by all means. I tried to cancel my plan on the phone, told to go into a kiosk/store. At the store told I had to call. 8 hours of my life on hold. Told plan was cancelled, 5 hours later they withdrew money. Called a week later because the refund had not happened. Plan was STILL ACTIVE. As I am again trying to cancel they tried to upsell my what should have been non existent plan. Go anywhere else. Should have a minus rating system. Minus infinite.

the app is just as inconsistent as the service they offer. Throughout my day I will be without service for the majority of the time, if I have a data connection chances are it will be 4g (which never works). I am essentially paying for a service that is not being provided. The app wont let me top up my account until weeks after my payment is due rendering me without any service whatsoever.

I've been with freedom for over 3 years, from the start your app is awful! Links never worked, the link to look at your products used to show grey lines, no images never came through. Your most recent update, when clicking on the link it freezes the app. It's getting worse then better...

It rarely works. I open it, freedom comes up, a loading wheel, then it's just an orange screen. Sometimes if I close it and open it again it works for some reason. Most if the time I have to use the website. Been like this for at least 4 years. Update your app.

App is horribly implemented. Logs me out inconsistently and doesn't give me an option to save my PIN. Main menus are buggy and slow (if the delay is in the get request from your server, why are you requesting last month's bill that's been paid instead of the current one for the balance due field). Side menus are evidently a sloppy afterthought with the quality that looks like it was handed to a junior intern to deal with by themselves. The app reflects poorly on Freedom's brand

Nothing like having 4 bars and LTE data... Only to be unable to load a 2Mb picture. Run far away from this service, they offer terrible data, even worse connection, at barely competitive pricing. For the record, I've been with them 7 years. It's only gotten worse

Extremely cumbersome app that asks you to effectively log in FAR too frequently. Doing any singular thing in the app like paying your phone bill is a 10 minute endeavour if everything goes smoothly, when it should be a sub two minute task if things go poorly.

It is entirely pointless. This app makes you login with your number and password. Then verify that number, then enter the verification code they sent. Aren't apps supposed to save time as opposed to increase time spent? Not this one. On a side note, the phone service is decent while in an urban area.

Terribly made. Can't reset password, can't retrieve username. Can't even log into my account even tho I have my name address account number all the info I would need. Had to call I'm and even the genius on the phone couldn't do a thing and says I have to go to store. What a lack of support. App needs major improvement

Why do I have to sign in EVERY time I go into the app? Doing the whole 2-Factor-Authentication stuff is annoying and enough to make me leave Freedom Mobile There should be a "Remember Me" option The App is good and does what it needs to but the user interface feels like it's from 2009. So old. It needs a new modern look.

Garbage. I can never login to check my account balance, even after resetting my pin, knowing for sure my pin number, it still tells me I have an incorrect pin. Even after changing my pin multiple times in hopes of logining in to pay my bill it still doesnt work correctly. Time consuming and would not recommend. Still unsuccessful with being able to login, next step is to call them. What's the point of having an app when you have to sit on the phone with the company anyways? Waste of my time.
