I was completely loving this app! I have two phones, Samsung Note 9 and Samsung 9+. The app was working flawlessly, but starting around two weeks ago, i started missing notifications on the S9+ (the device to receive texts/missed calls). So i uninstalled it and then installed again...now the notification shows i have a forwarded text on S9+, but when i go t open it, the forward list is blank. IF i have the app is viewable onscreen, the forwarded text shows, but when i click to read it, the entire app crashes and asks if it should close or reopen...i would consider upgrading, but inky when this new issue is resolved. UPDATE: I have changed my review to 5 stars. The customer service is stellar and solved my app issues in one day--thank you!!! The updates make the app actually look like message app (for the phone receiving forwarded texts/calls). Highly recommended if you are juggling 2 phones at a time!!
I have had this app for 2 years and it worked perfectly. I recently purchased new phones and now the app shows every call as unidentified caller. I feel there is a way to correct it through a simple phone setting or permission but I haven't been able to find a solution. I also cant find any instruction or customer service contact. hopefully someone will contact me with a solution. this app truly is a great tool when working correctly but is of no use the way it is now.
This is a great app, I got my 10.1 inch tablet phone on a voice plan, I use call forward for voice calls to my cell and this for SMS forwarding. Cool thing it replies using my tablet phone number when replying from my cell. Also sends alerts for low battery. A suggestion, please have it send a notification for received MMS, it doesn't notify for that.
More sent than received? I have an old phone which is the sending phone (to a newer one). The old phone shows many more sent messages than the new one has received? I want to love this app but I don't want to lose messages! EDIT: thanks for the update and I'll try that. Thus far my biggest complaint is I'm still not receiving messages consistently, but I'll try this and see if that changes.
Good App but with issues! I would have given this App 5 stars but for the fact that the receiving phone notifications other than the visual in the status bar do not work. I currently have Samsung S8+, S6 and an A7 and no combination of the above phones the notifications work properly. To be fully useful to me I need a sound notification or better still sounds and vibrations! If this can be sorted I will change the eating to 5:5
The app works great, just like it says. My problem is I cannot get it to stop forwarding my calls. I have disconnected the devices, I have uninstalled the app on both phones. I even factory reset the phone that is forwarding and it still will not stop forwarding calls. I have emailed the app creator twice with no response yet. I would not use this app if you plan on turning off the forwarding. If you plan on forwarding forever, this is the app for you.
My personal phone is a note 8, which I use with an s3 frontier. Work phone is an s7. Both on AT&T. Connecting was easy, but only some numbers get messages pushed through. Seems some contacts don't work at all and others work great. Uninstalled and reinstalled and problem persists. Example, my dad's phone I receive just fine, my wife I can't get any messages from
This app has been very helpful while I have been using a temporary phone. I have not not missed texts from my old Phone. I even still received them while on a trip to India. I don't think Photos will forward... Don't group texts do either. A Few messages dinot. Forward, but most did! Still a great app!
The app is exactly the right concept for what I need but the UI is in serious need of a upgrade! Hopefully they can leverage a new UI for similar txt/MMS feel as other SMS applications. There is not sorting or searching or grouping. So if you receive a lot of txts... gl. There is also no backup feature.
It would be great if you could add a (Don't show this again) option to the send SMS via linked device window. Also I would like it to go straight to the message from the notifications bar instead of the messages list. Otherwise, it seems to work fine.
Like app just what I was looking for. I can carry just one phone and not miss messages. Only downside is if the sending phone battery died or is turned off it does not work, the messages won't forward. Am I doing something wrong or is this a major flaw in the app.
generally works very well, would rate 4.5 if I could. every once in a while, there's a text the host receives and doesn't forward. maybe due to attachment? I know it's not an iPhone issue as both are android.
Overall this app appears to be a work in progress. Even with the updates the chat view is very buggy and will only update if you leave and then come back in. Still only getting about 50% of the texts to show up from my other device. Just not very reliable
The 2 design problems w this app are: no record anywhere exists of the SMS msg's relayed thru the other phone. This app doesn't record the sent msg and the hosting phone also doesn't record the sent msg. Also, often the app notifies that there is a mag, but msg isn't visible until app is closed / restarted. Also MMS msg's aren't forwarded. However txt forwarding does work, and replying thru the host phone does work.
Really helps with the type of work I do as a property manager and I really don't like carrying two phones around all day, so this really streamlines the process, even allowing you to respond to texts from the remote phone from that number. Great app!!
So far I'm very pleased. Two issues: (1) it doesn't seem to support HTML. Please tell me I'm wrong, (2) Since the app provides info on remote phone battery,, this suggests that the remote phone needs to be powered on for the app to function. This can't be correct, can it? Thanks, and hoping for a reply.
It's good but...will you ever have the ability to read the whole conversation, including your sent texts? That would help a lot with context when going back to read a convo.
The text forwarding only works in close proximity to each other. The 2 phones have to be within 2 feet of each other. If they are more than that, it doesn't forward anything
Its been working good so far the only reason for 3 stars is it only shows on side of the conversation it only shows what they reply with it doesnt show my side of the text conversation, why is that the picture on the google play store app before you download shows both sides of the conversation. I really need both sides for my job how can i fix this ?
Works great for sms and calls only which it clearly states but would really love to receive the mms with text also. In other words, mms with pics are not forwaded which is what I really need to keep in touch and not carry more than 1 device :)
I have tried to use this app twice. The setup is simple and both phones show they are connected to each other but it does not forward any text messages.
Transfers all of my calls and texts To my second phone. I can't catch every single person but this app does. IAM truly impressed. If I was ever hit up for fees it would be well worth it..
A great app that does what is says on the tin! My only request would be to have more options of what to do with the message from the notifications shade on the target device - e.g. mark as read, delete.
the app worked well until, I tried to disconnect the divert between my personal and work phones....now it has become frustrating as I can not cancel the divert even after deleting the app on both phones
Works decent but have to clear messages after receiving a few to keep getting new messages and some old messages as much as a year old come back after being erased I really like this app but the above bugs makes its use limited for me idk if anyone else has this problem maybe it's a mistake on my end idk
The text forwarding works well, allowing you to respond to texts as if from your forwarded phone. Currently don't use the call forwarding feature.
Doesn't work half the time... dont get some texts forwarded, and when they do forward it shows a previous received text and will not show the content of the selected text. Half the time the responses do not go through. I even updated to the paid subscription thinking it would help, but it didn't. Save your time and effort and find something else.
