Used to work like a charm on my E988 running on JB. But after KK update (Official) it has stopped working. Looks like there is more to it than an easy solution as there is no proper method available anywhere... Please update it soon :)
I use LG G2 and installing this application, but currently not supported device software version D80220a. Please fix it. Thanks.
D80230b not supported. Only 79 cent so I'm not that mad, but still would have liked a warning before buying...
I paid for this app and it won't work it crashes on my lg g pro e980 with 20i rom please fix
It was effortless to get liquidsmooth up and running, thanks to this. I wish there was a version for the LS990 I've upgraded to, but hopefully there will be one eventually.
My device not supported lg g2 at&t d80020y please fix me
This awesome app has helped me with various LG devices I have purchased. Especially with the LG G2 made it so easy to install recovery and make an EFS flashable backup! 🍺 cheers to the creator!
Wanna root your LGOG? You need this. Idiot proof operation unlocks your bootloader and installs TWRP recovery in two clicks. Also backs up your EFS partition, which you're really going to be happy about if you completely brick your phone.
Installed CWM recovery on my VS980 with no problems. Definitely worth $1 for ease of use.
I have kit kat version E98820c on my phone. I have already rooted my phone. But still i am not able to do anything using this app. It fails to install cwm recovery. Any help Seth?
This was a great app. It was the only way that worked to get recovery on my LG G2. Now it says it's unsupported. Please fix!
Ive tried clockworkmod with this app and it worked know I running CyanogenMod 11
Thanks fa lettin me to explore my device
Worked good on LG Optimus G Pro.
Will you be adding devices such as F class?
What? My device is not supported.
Need to support the optimus feul
Saves time, hassle, headache and uncertainty. Made installing custom recovery on my LG G2 a breeze! One thing, though: since using FreeGee to install TWRP, I cannot seem to boot into recovery using the rear buttons. Had to install a power button from the market as a workaround.
Big thank you to the dev for having the application check the aboot on startup. Possible crisis avoided as mine is not supported...yet. Program sends the info off to the dev, simple. Donate version purchased. I'll just let this bad boy sit in my app drawer until the time is right.
Buy this version and give the creator a dollar! The hard work put into this is worth it. This app worked great. Easy to use, nice interface, pretty much does it all for you! I used this on my LG Optimus G E907 (AT&T version) and I installed my Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) without any issues. Please read up on how to use this program before you attempt to do ANYTHING with your phone.
Worked great. Happy to support devs that make the stuff that I can't that makes my devices better.
Revised to 5 stars from 4 stars. Posted a question for the dev and got a quick response. Rooted using framaroot, installed the app, allowed root access and download of the device list, chose twrp, and mako unlock option, and it was complete in about a minute afterwards. Note to dev: maybe you can post videos of the unlock on supported devices and / or instructions detailing what to do.
Thanks so much. Finally a way to install custom recovery.
Any chance for g pad 8.3 support?
Does what it says.
I got a new LG G2 from Verizon and wanted to load a custom recovery. I tried Flashify and using ADB method but they only resulted in a black screen when trying to enter recovery. I tried FreeGee and it worked like a charm! Only thing I would try to improve on is the UI.
Two time after i installed this app, not just cwm and twrp always make my g pro stuck on recovery., i hope you can fix it. :(
Great app m8! I was having problems with flashing recovery for days. One tap of finger on this app solved them all! Thanks
Please get this to work with Optimus G Pro.
Now it doesn't work with AT&T G2 on Kit Kat (D80020c version). That is a shame, because I originally donated when I found that FreeGee could successfully install TWRP on JellyBean, even though the loki_flash and dd= methods had failed to work. Back to 5 stars if/when this is fixed.
