The old app just worked. This new app has been very unstable for some months. I didn't want to even award it one star but couldn't post this without doing so..... the app never seems to be working for more than a week at a time if the user's are lucky... Please recommend an app that does work and stays working with Sonar Solutions CCTV kit.
"Optimize startup process" - no, you've added ads that have to be watched for 5sec before you can get into the app! Absolutely disgusting behavior! Get rid of it now! There were plenty of ads on the regular screen as a banner at the bottom. That should be enough!
This has got to be the worst phone apps possible. can somebody please restructure this phone app? there are many security based apps and systems out there and if this app is the best you can do them your customer base will suffer. Please spend some money and fix this malfunctioning app. i have tried to sync to other phones and it fails to pick up the cameras. you might be better served to look elsewhere until this is fixed.
Can't login after update. Correct S/N, username and password used. Comes back as "Device account or password error". This is the second time it's happened after an update. I can login with windows IE with the same info, so I don't know what is going on.
This app is so wishy-washy. It works one minute and then after an update, it doesn't. Currently, I am getting a message that the Device is not online. The crazy thing is, the device is working I can see all cameras on my TV but just not using this app!!
Have to login every time, and even that way it says login timeout. It won't remember the cameras I have selected. Other than those, it seems to be fine. Edit: No improvement since my last review. Lowering the rating.
I've used this app for the past year and it worked fine until now. I can't view playback anymore as when I try to look at a specific camera at a specific time, the time slider won't zoom in and breaks to where I can't move it anymore.
App needs better PTZ functions PTZ does not work when rotated to full screen and has no call set or delete presets for PTZ cameras, apart from that it works hope the DEVS add better PTZ control with presets functions for full screen mode, the Windows based app has all the PTZ functions so why not add it to the android app ?
The app is average in this P2P category. I used it with an EYECAM xvr. When I used special characters in XVR´s password, the app won´t connect. Use only letters and numbers. Question for the developers: I want to leave a phone with "preview" screen on all the time. But the app keeps asking to close video window from time to time. **** Update 03-november-2018: version 8.2.44.5 seemed to have been eliminated this timeout. Apparently, the timeout message comes up just once. **** Update 16-november-2018 The app closes randomly (sometimes after 2 hours, sometimes after 10+ hours). Upon reopening, there is a message "login timeout" (????). I have to login again in the app. Dev, please, get rid of these timeouts! What is it with them?
Once setup correctly with the matching dvr it works lovely for viewing cams remotely but I have not yet been able to connect to look at stored videos. It has been very reliable and can save snapshots to my mobile as well as live video but again I cannot pull down videos from the remote dvr.
The app needs a lot of improvement in terms of interface, login , device adding and playback. Very much outdated as compared to many other related apps. I have not seen any update recently.
I have been using this app for a while now but since. I'd November I have not been able to playback my dvr so I have no idea what goes on around my properties unless I am looking at it live..this is a huge inconvenience at this point I wish I could try a diferent app there have not not even an update on this one since last year....
The app works great, however they only allow playback to one logged account. Also the xvr always has a problem reconnecting to the internet when it's set to DHCP in network settings.
Constantly have to open and close app to get it to work. Login timeout happens several times before i see video. It's just too bad this is the only option for my NVR.
Latest update now works (Oct 19) properly for the first time. Gave it 2 stars because it will undoubtedly change at the next update. If it doesn't, and it still works, i'll give it 4 stars. If it doesn't work, it'll be 1 star.
This app was working great until last update. It used to say preview now it says real time and nothing works! just loads and loads and dose not bring up a picture! Going to find another app!
full of ad, each time when accessing you must watch a 5 seconds ad. this is a security software which you want to access instant!
if network was not available and user open app,login sessions will loss and should relogin. please solve it. zoom function can get better,it doesnt directly zoom to point that i try to see biger.
It got so much slower than the previous version.I've been noticing tons more crashes and the playback function is simply broken and bad.
Terrible apps, waste my time. Doesn't work at all. Keep asking password and device account number, after you enter it says operation succeed and nothing happened. Then start asking again and again, I tired.
The worst app i have ever used for p2p. The playback function doesn't work. The live video stream disconnects frequently.
Can never see my cameras 1st go. Continually going to device setting to try and start up. Extremely annoying please fix the link to my cameras with this app.
It's a month that the camera is not working, on tv works, on your program NOT. I'm using the SN login, it stays like charging...but no video. Please help
