I have really noticed results using this app. It's got good structure and the workouts are appropriately hard and don't take too long. I find the app easy to use and it's not too complicated so it doesn't distract from the workout. The tutorials on how to do each different exercise are very helpful to avoid mistakes. I do wish that the stretches were different some days, and that it was easier to choose your focus. I def prefer more lower body, but I just do more on my own time
Got a good deal and decided to try it out for a change in my routine. It did more than that. it reignited my passion for working out. Made it seem like playing a game with goals which is fun and at the same time effective. I can tell since I'm only two workouts in and I am feeling muscle sores (the good kind) everywhere. I'll make sure to make the most of this brilliant service and I recommend it to everyone beginner or advanced.
Good, most of the time. Though there are issues, like when I have done a routine and tell it to save but it just gets stuck "saving". Also if something wrong, like the above, it only let's you restart the routine and doesn't save the time/weights you did and you can't manually enter what you did... Bit annoying cause now my best timings are me just skipping through cause the app failed to save...
I like the Bodyweight app, but wanted to continue in more of a free weight direction after completing the Barbell Gain "journey" there. Unfortunately, this app seems to be quite neglected compared to its brother. The user interface isn't nearly as useful, the connectivity to tracker apps isn't there, and the coaching is useless (you have to guess what weight to use, even after telling the coach what you have been lifting recently), and even things like counting down timed exercises are missing.
This app is really unique in what it does, I couldn't find any other app in the store that provides the same type of structured progressive workouts as freeletics. I'm on my 70~ week of using freeletics gym with a yearly subscription and I'm very happy with it. I would have given it a 5 stat rating if the developers gave a bit more attention to the gym app similar to the attention and constant updates given to the bodyweight app. The interface looks a bit outdated, the library of workouts has not been updated since I started using the app two years ago. I hope the developers read my review and abd decide to give more love to this amazing but unfortunately neglected app!
Save your money! It doesn't offer any flexibility at all. if you have certain goals and want to target a muscle group the Coach algorithm is useless as it just spits out the very basic training according to simple questions. Also, this is a highly overpriced app and even though I got billed for another 3 months I don't use it any more. I do not recommend this app to anyone because it doesn't offer anything better than other free programs and apps like the amazing Nike Training. Avoid!!
Great app, already a subscriber since 2015 and it's impressive how each training remains challenging. It's yourself against your previous best performance and it keeps you engaged. The coach is great, as adjusts to the time of your training, weights used. Great and straightforward interface.
Just started using the app and it wont allow me to select my training focus areas on the body diagram. I'm not sure I'm doing something wrong. I've tapped, double tapped, I can't select anything. a bit frustrated. I'd like to move on from this screen and get started. please help.
Loved the idea. But still In need of MAJOR bug fixes. Multiple force closures every single time I use it. And the fact that freeletics has 3 apps that can't communicate to each other is beyond frustrating. What good is a gym trainer if it won't incorporate my running training into its plan?!? If I knew how to make my own training plans I wouldn't be paying freeletics to begin with!
Interesting app with guided workouts and programs. You have good timer timer with nice videos of workout. I tried several goals but I didn't find any changes of workout plans. I would like to see more equipments and options. You can workout just with barbells and rowing machines. This app have lots of potential but needs some love and work
Doesn't sinc with Google fit, no animations during the exercise, no timer or assistance during warm-up and no stretching timer. Wish it was more like the standard freeletics app (that's actually brilliant). It would be good to also add training plans using machines and other equipment.
Should allow you to go back to an exercise. often find myself forgetting to click the next exercise button once I'm done one exercise. should add a feature where you can go back. As well as adding a feature to go back to your old workouts. this would be a major plus.
overall I like the app however it keeps crashing, by crashing I mean that it doesnt open at all and i keep having to uninstall it and reinstall it for the app to open this is very frustrating when you're at the gym ready to work out.. moreover it would be amazing if the body weight app and gym app interacted in some way to make it on stop shop.
This is the best investment I made this year. The plans are awesome, the cockroaches awesome, and every day you do exercise with full satisfaction and you don't feel like a normal person it's all high intensity exercises and they are great mind boosters and energy boosters. Sceptical about subscribing it for full year but then when I look to my body today really really really it's the best investment of the year. Thankyou freeletics team.
i been using mostly the gym app. as i am trying to gain weight and the regular freelectics app. has too much focus on cardio. the apps are both fantastic, but the gym app lacks most of the social functionality, polish and extra features of the regular app... also gym app doesn't seem to count towards your freelectis level. i wish the apps were better synced.
love the freeletics work out apps in general... I appreciate that the coach membership applies to all. I wish the gym work out was structured more like the main freeletics app when you are actually doing the workout and being able to click any part of the screen for the next workout. overall though I love it. the coach is great!!
such a great app, its the go-to gym guide. experience could be smoother and minor improvements would be nice to bring it up to the standard of the main freeletics app; feels like it's been neglected a bit with focus on the main app.
I have had the Gym coach for almost a year now and I have to say I liked it for its simplicity and for always knowing what to do at the gym. even though I don't go as regularly as I should and don't always lead the healthiest lifestyle, I do see results! But I still have cancelled my subscription. The main reason is that this is only the little brother of freeletics bodyweight and the company is not fully committed to it. Freeletics Gym is not being developed any further, the exercises don't change and the app remains very basic, without any of the features of the competition... no metrics, no community aspect, no further insights (such as muscle groups etc). Some exercises are potentially harmful (e.g. the upright row is considered contraindicated by the ACSM) - when I asked user support about it, they did not even know the exercise and thought I was talking about rowing! That being said, I did enjoy it and I did see results but the price is too high to justify another year, now that I know all the exercises and can do it myself without the app.
The app is great and the exercises are fantastic as well but maybe mix up the exercises instead of having to do the same ones every week. Plus the warm ups and stretching need to be specific to the exercises too and always the same things.
Bad. I found the exercises very basic. Nothing like the advertisement they do. They ask you to pay upfront at least 3 months. If you don't request a refund before 14days you loose your money. Better to use other free apps on Google store instead of committing for that amount of time for an app you don't know
It's a great app with lots of excersices, which help you improve your fitness level and challenge yourself everytime you use it! It also provides a great customer support! So i give it a 10/10!!! Clap clap
SCAM ALERT: I enrolled in the paid subscription as a trial, was charged $95.99 at the end of the trail without notice of the trial end reminder the developer promises upon enrollment. Didn't see $95.99 annual fee worth of value in the product so canceled my subscription/requested a refund IMMEDIATELY after charged. These jokers do not reply to requests for refund. Not via email or even when submitting it directly through their website support. AFTER 10 DAYS no replies. Escalated to Google.
Rubbish. It asks you to select your focus areas yet nothing apart from 'confirm' is selectable. It immediately asks you to pay for the service but the prices in the app are quite different between the website vs the app for the same offering.
Watch your subscription..if you forget to cancel they will charge you 40 bucks and even if you email them right away they wont refund you (even if you havent used it in over 2 months). Disappointed with their customer service and will be moving on to another program after healing from my work injury. In the end just another company that wants your money.
I just subscribed for a year, and so far it has been a great app! I'm wishing it improves over the next few months. It crashes when I opt to go to the training section(?) suggestion after completing a workout which results to losing my progress. Pls fix it! Also, does this have an exclusive forum or group where members can join? Keep up the good work. Mike
