I've been using the app for two months and overall, I'm happy with the it. However, there are a few things that I miss that I think they would be very helpful, like a favourite star button on recipes, so you can have your favs organised, or the possibility of change recipes and they can count on your daily intake (sometimes they are a little bit repetitive and it's boring to just eat, for example, 250g cottage cheese in one go)
app offers a good variety of recipes. So far everything I've tried was really tasty and quite simple to prepare. It would be great if there was a filter based on groceries. That way I could immediately filter by what I have at home instead of scrolling through and looking into each recipe. Also food restrictions part could be a bit more detailed (based on individual groceries one does not like, not only vegetarian/vegan etc.)
This app has the hallmarks of being a good app. However there are some very obvious shortcuts that have taken place in regards to content, imagery and general functionality. One of the most problematic elements is the weeks jumping back and forth, for me it's week 2 or week 3 everytime I go back into the app. I do like the options for vegetarians and some of the food is actually quite tasty. However the expectation to have a new meal every day is hard to shop for and hard to adapt in the app.
This is basically a list of recipes. It's kind of like the fancy recipe books that tend to live on the shelf, with the number of ingredients required for any meal are pretty ambitious... But every now and then you'll do it just for fun. To only eat based on the app means your shopping, prep and cooking will itself be a full time job. The lunches/afternoon snacks often need a stove/oven. Those aren't features in a modern workplace so requires deviation from the app. Needs lots of improvement.
I really enjoy the recipes listed in this app. They helped me learn how to eat properly healthy. I'd like to see some more diets like keto and be a bit more flexible with the calorie and daily meal count selection (I don't always have time to cook 4 meals and can't always find healthy meals on the go), but I have lost quite a few kgs even with the current version of the app. Would definitely recommend.
Got the membership in a bundle with the workout membership. Very disappointed. How am I supposed to make 5 different meals a day/7 days a week? That's expensive and impossible. While recipes are fine it hate that they give some ingredients only in metric system vs in cups/tsps. Also strange that I selected my goal as gaining weight and I'm still suggested mostly plant based recipes. The recipes are nice though and the shopping list is helpful. Wis you could make a favorites list for yourself.
A good app with a variety of receipts. Although I miss the option to look for food via ingredients and there fore it's hard to do shopping without the food getting spoiled in the fridge. One more good thing would be if it would be connected to the freeletics app and the coach would make the nutrition plan based on the workout plan.
Paid for the exercise and nutrition app. The exercise app is great. Clear, concise and easy to customize. The nutrition plan... Not so much. I cook frequently and have a basic knowledge of nutrition. The options given are not great and there isn't a lot to choose from. It's not friendly for people with diet restrictions or allergies. It would better if they set it up more like MyFitnessPal nutrition app and gave you a caloric intake guideline and then let you choose what you wanted to eat.
Easy to make recepies, simple and delicious food. Sometimes it can be a bit repetitive, but the good thing is you have various options to choose from if you don't fancy what's on the menu. After only 3 weeks of sticking with this diet my hair feels soft and smooth and my face is blemish free, I feel much more energy and brain active and good overall😊
It's good when it works. I've had it a week now. Trying to plan my meals for next week and it's showing me I've picked two different meals for breakfast on the same day. When I look at other days next week it doesn't let me choose meals, it just says I've Cooked This Meal, implying I've picked already which I havent. Tried clearing data and force stopping etc. Reinstall next 🙄
The recipes are great: quick and easy to prepare. The portions are enough to go without hunger the whole day and the food is also really tasty. I would enjoy less repetition in breakfasts and afternoon snacks. The shopping list function is really practical, but more options for organizing the list would come in handy.
I haven't cooked anything yet (I'll update this when I do) but I really like the interface. You can choose a meal among a few options for each mealtime (breakfast, lunch, etc.). I like the option to add a post-work out snack and the shopping list that gets updated with each recipe you add. I love the option to search for recipe's by number of ingredients and cook time cause I like to keep it simple. Can't wait to get started!
Good recipes but useless as a meal planning app. Each recipe adds its ingredients separately to the shopping list so you end up having to buy 3x half a zucchini etc. Shopping list is not sorted by supermarket isles. You can't really make a week plan. There is no reuse of ingredients among the suggested weekly recipes so you end up wasting a lot of food and money. I like that if tailors the recipes based on your region and the way they implemented ingredient substitutions.
This app is amazing! The recipes are easy to follow and the meal plan seems very well tailored. The shopping list feature is also really helpful. However, I find it difficult to follow the meal plan because it doesn't consider the logistics of ahead-of-time meal prep and using up ingredients before they expire. A button to say "I am planning to cook this" would also be nice for bookkeeping.
Not useful. Even a free dedicated recepie app would be better than what this app currently provides - a small list of recepies you can choose from each day. The Coach can adjust serving size based on your goals, but the recepies are too repetitive to be worth for a whole year. Also the app isn't very easy to use and they don't have a website. It's hard to check ingredients to buy when you have to manually browse through each day then meal then recepie.
All the recipes are vert simple and tasty, very quick to assemble. It's nice I can choose out of many different recipes, but what is missing is a possibility to preplan a whole week. There is a suggestion what to choose but if I'm choosing other recipe I would like to have a chance to somehow mark them for the future. I do shopping twice a week and sometimes I'm forgetting which meal I have chosen. A possibility to mark my choice would be awesome!
Some of the recipes seem strange but turn out to be delicious. I find the recipes to be quick and easy to make. Since the ingredients are primarily whole food items, I feel like I've never eaten healthier in my life. Coupled with the Freeletics exercise program, I now have a fully healthy lifestyle and feel great. It gets a little expensive to buy all the ingredients you need each week. But when you think about all the processed junk you're NOT buying and putting into your body, it's worth it.
I like this app. It would be great to see some more options when the meals are mentioned. For example, it should mention total daily nutrition (ex. Carbs, proteins, sugars) requirement when suggesting meals. It can be difficult to stick to the recipes so it can help to plan a better overall nutrition requirement for the day. It can also have this feature be combined to have a notification to point out calories/protein intake remaining for the daily target and so on. Overall good but can be bette!
Looks good overall. Used this app for more than 4 weeks. I need the app to include shopping categories such as vegetables, meat, dairies etc. for a better shopping experience. I also would like to update my current stocks for recipe suggestion in line with what I have. This way we could have smart consumption.
This app is a waste of money. It's just a bunch of random recipes you can find anywhere in the internet for free! It's NOT integrated with the freeletics app and goals. No AI based nutrition. Why do I have to manually enter workouts, when the freeletics app has all the data already? I can't even change the number of meals per day. No one has time to cook 4 different meals a day! Without an option to prepare meals for the whole week, this is just useless! Just search for healthy recipes online.
The recipes look good and straightforward. However, this is hard to follow of you have kids because you'll basically need to cook an extra meal. There should be a setting to set the amount of people that will be eating, at least for lunch and dinner, so that ingredients amount is automatically changed.
Avoid - pretty useless. Promises a lot but underdelivers more. Very clunky - not user friendly. Not personalized nutrition guidance, just a bunch of recipes you can look up easily for free. When you buy a 3,6 or 12 month service they sneakily sign you up to a subscription model. Total scam! Tried to cancel within the 14 days, of finalisation of contract as per T & C's - no refund. Closed PayPal accnt, credit card etc to stop the fraud transaction.
Early testing, first week using. Meal lists are good for trying new things but the ingredients are hard to get consistently, would be nice to have a scale Integration and integration to the training programme. I'm at home all day at the moment so cooking is fine but might struggle on the go to meal prep, alternative for eat out is good but meal prep I'd consider slightly different would be good to also consider this. Would be nice to also show macro nutrients and breakdown of the meals etc
This app as well as the diet are absolutely amazing. The recipes are incredibly tasty, having regular ingredients in unexpected combinations, and are quite easy to prepare. It's also very efficient. I've used Freeletics Nutrition Coach in combination with the Freeletics Training Coach and lost almost 2kgs in less than a week. Quitting sport a while back I was a bit overweight, and tried many ways to lose weight, but never found one as good as these two apps together. Thanks Freeletics!
If I would have known healthy food could be so tasty all along . . . I would like to make only one point. after the ingrediences have been added to the shopping list, it would nice if they would be organized by type of food. milk products, vegetables, etc. So it is easier while shopping.
I wanted something simple and easy to follow. It's not easy and the interface is not great. K paid for it as I thought it would provide a clear meal plan by day. But instead it's just a list of potential receipes per day. You need to cook like 5 meals a day, everyday different things. I am not sure how I am supposed to follow this having a full time job.
Unfortunately, the app doesn't meet my needs. As I don't enjoy spending an hour every night cooking, I prefer meal prepping in advance. Also, as these recipes are mostly for a single serving, I feel it would create a lot of food waste, which I am trying to avoid.
This app is not connected to the workout one, which is very good. If you are looking for a meal plan connected to the exercise you are doing, this is not an option. There are only disconnected recipes from you're workout reality. For me, it has been a waste of money. Actually, when the time for paying again comes, I'm planning to change both apps for one that integrates the two things (workout and nutrition)
