French Conversation

Some good points but poorly executed. For example you can't select English as your native language, when forming sentences the words are on coloured backgrounds and are very hard to read. The voice that is supposed to encourage you at the end of each exercise sounds horrible and there's no way to turn it off. The adds in the free version are far too frequent and intrusive. Shame, it could be a very good app.

Extremely attractively designed app with easy operation, (albeit kind of extreme in the ambitions implicit in a person's taking it in!) I'd like to see finer speed control, & more freedom to pick and choose which conversation to study and when from within the app. I had to control my anger at the change of tone brought on by the commercial interruptions as they mess with state dependence conditions and come on like odious hard-sell when I'm trying toEvaluate th'app! Wanna buy, though!

There is a lot of potential for this app to improve and be a really great learning tool. It is different and has a lot more customization options (speed, repeat, font, copy/send settings and more) than any other language app I have seen out there. Seeing and hearing the words at the same time is great. The readers have good voices. The variety of practice lessons is nice. There is a lot about the app that needs refining (which I've sent directly in email)...it feels like an alpha version.

Very comprehensive package. Doesn't take too long to get used to the little nuances of the functions, for example; I was going into the Google translate button every time, when all I needed to do was tap on the individual sentence itself for an instant translation. Overall - very pleased with this app. There's lots and lots to go at!!!!! Thank you - keep up the good work!

It's a good app and I like it :) Many thanks for developing I think it can be great, if it has some features; for example conversation categories(daily, work, travel,...)for better search; Identify idioms and informal conversations; Redesign visually like theme and color (I should be mention that I changed my theme in the app setting but it didn't change). The level & content of the French conversations would be good if it worked, but it doesn't, crashing frequently on each of my 3 devices and the lesson numbering varies on each. The facility to alter playback speed doesn't work consistently & poor and the reliance of Google translate means that the English translations are frequently inaccurate. Based on my experience with the Japanese course & the variations in style I suspect the dialogues have simply been lifted from other courses.

It glitches BAD. It will be two seperate or even the same one playing at the same time but if it's the same they are playing insync. I have to forceclose the app constantly and it doesn't do what you want when you set the controls: repeat x amount of times, etc.

Needs some work... I paid for this app to get rid of shooting ads that talk over the lessons and now dialogue doesn't work!!!!. I get a popup error message that isn't long enough to give you a chance to read in full. The help button doesn't work. The Website link didn't. Only suggestion is uninstall, reinstall.

This app has been a breakthrough in my French learning. I've tried so many apps and methods. This one gives me confidence I'm getting model speakers speaking in true to life situations. Lesson progression is graded really well too. The developer's work on constantly improving this app makes it a remarkable opportunity to speak French with fluency.

The old version has a convenient button on screen to switch between languages. Now have to access it in the settings, and the translation pop up feels more intrusive than the old version, where the dialogues were simply swap. Would prefer the old style. Still excellent app.

After the last update it's a complete mess. I don't know where to start, so many bugs. Here's one: Opening google translate doesn't work anymore - it shows a message "let's install google translate" even though I already have it and sends me to the Play Store instead of opening the app.

This is a great app for learning French! I have found taking the time to parse real sentences a more effective way of learning a language than quiz-based apps. The one thing it could use is the ability to sync my data between devices.

This app is super buggy, I gave up after reinstalling it for the 5th time. It's too bad cause dialogs are great and so is the concept. Also it's impossible to get a refund once purchased. I couldn't use this app and they won't give me my money back. Stay away from this app.

Good content but it uses google translate which is not very accurate. But its useful nevertheless. Tips for the Dev: Hire an actual translator to get it done in English. Also,the xp system feels unnecessary. PS: Native language translation is a good addition. It works. Thanks

It's a great application for learning French but I wished that I could pay it on the Play Store. No credit card means no unlock I am afraid. Maybe you could offer a premium version of this app. There are some obvious bugs which I hope to be fixed soon.

This is one of the best app I ever use. it really help with your listening comprehension and also with grammar structure. It also have slow down speed and play back function. I rarely write review and this is a must write for me.

I'm very disappointed that after paying for this app I still found ads appearing in the app. Despite having a Google receipt for my payment, my purchase was not acknowledged on the Google Play site for this app. When I emailed the developer, attaching a copy of my receipt, I received no response whatsoever after waiting 48 hours.

An absolutely amazing application. Easy to use and very versatile. Great for listening, reading and vocabulary building. Thanks for this wonderful application and for the improvements that come with each update.

I really liked it I have learned a lot! It just deserves it! I can go on listening without issues! I can do some exercises! This is something Wil absolutely pay off! On the contrary everything else is just fantastic! Highly recommended!!

I wanna practice speaking French but it seems that it only identifies English. When l read the sentence then the result only shows in English. So disappointing! I look forward to your reply soon!

Great app but the audio only works half the time and listening is most of the lesson. App is buggy and resets already completed lessons as soon as you finish them.

This is an excellent app practicing spoken French at any pace. Great exercises included too. The amount of time and effort that the developer has put into this is quite astounding. Great value!

I love this app. It's very helpful. The pronunciations are clear and precise, the speed isn't too fast and there are translations available as well... I love it

One of the best apps out there for language learning. You have over 300 scenarios and can change the speed to suit your level. Much recommend

Its great for learning french. The only problem is some lessons do not have listening playback and some translations are off. But overall a great app!
