French English Translator

this app seems to have nailed the hard part, but really could have more features. talking to a French person with this app is more laborious than it needs to be, and can't be done in a car while driving. would love for the phone to have a car mode the following features: * huge button to accept audio input * recognize the audio as English or French automatically, and provide audio translation. then i could have a conversation while driving.

So quick and easy to translate from English to French and back to English or vice versa. With verbal or text input and verbal and text translation, you can read what's being said as it's being spoken. That really helps develop the ear for the sound of the language and improves aural comprehension. This is the best French language learning tool I've seen and also great for "conversation" between people who know little of each other's language.

Some words, out of context, will be incorrect translations...try to.give context in your search (a sentence instead if a single word). Also there is a consistent problem with gender. You can type "she" in a sentence but it won't change the adjectives in that sentence to feminine form...so you need to be aware of this.

Exactly what I was looking for. Have had a friend from Nice tell me it's incorrect at times and doesn't necessarily have most slang terms that are used in normal conversations. For a free app it is wonderful and would easily get you around.

Excellent app to translate one language to another. Especially useful when learning a new language. The feature to hear the written words is amazing. Kudos to the team for making an outstanding app and keeping it free for all.

This app is the best French/English app I've found. Using others, you get literal translations that are sometimes off the mark. This app is intuitive, deals with idioms well. As a french speaker who sometimes needs a little help, this is the best!

4 because if I type in something wrong, it tries to closest answer to it, so if I type in something wrong, I have to translate it again to make sure its correct. I know what I wrote now is kinda hard to understand but I hope you can change that somehow. Overall this app is great and really helps me when I need to do something on french.

I was thrust into the position of trying to communicate with a few different French ladies, and I didn't want to saddle them with translating to English. This app really saved my conversation! There were a few tricks I had to figure out, but the interface is easy to work with.

Rather good. If you take care to enunciate well the translation is usually helpful, if not always entirely quite what an articulate, native speaker might come up with. The ads are easily dealt with.

Excellent app. It is a pro language translator. It is the best Play Store translator app of french to english. I can bet. I love this app. It gives me nice translation. The only thing I don't like is that it takes a lot of time to give translation. I want to improve this so that the rating average can increase and it can be the most 5 rated app of Play Store.

Hi your application is absolutely perfect but here I have a suggestion to add extra option that user can slow down the pronunciation speach which spoke by application. So that user can easily understand the pronunciation and able to learn too. Thanks.

There are not enough good French translation apps out there, this seems to be one of the better versions. It might be worthwhile to add in useful common phrases that cannot be directly translated into the the app, but that's just in my opinion

Good but limited. Like Google Translate, English to French, it doesn't show the singular second person with verbs, just the plural/formal. So the translation for "Are you going to the store?", only shows "vous" not "tu".

Simple and easy. Although not stocked with multiple features that can cater to every requirement with regard to translation. This app is decent and convenient to use.

Don't waste your time downloading this. Completely user unfriendly. Keyboard hides translation ! Enough said, yet there's more. Audio translation doesn't work. And OK I accepted there would be ads - but no matter how many times I said I wasn't interested, the same annoying ad kept coming back. What is the point in asking for a user's wishes if that wish isn't going to be respected ? Uninstalling

this app works perfectly. I do speak French but travel there frequently. the translations are quick and easy with this app. I have tried others and they just do not work with these that this one does. I am actually beginning to learn French as a result of using it.

Exceptional. Very easy to use. It has a logical format and was releaved to discover how easy it was to maneuver through the entire process. Nice app.

It's a 4 because it is difficult to write everything in French other wise it could be that click a photo scan it and get the translation..... That would become easy Otherwise it's an excellent app, very quick... No doubt😃😃

I have found it mostly helpful, although after a certain number of keystrokes it doesn't allow the translation to be sent to my facebook message. If l knew how to use it it would work very well. Thanks

I love it. My go to app. My partner is French and she says the translations are as good as they get. The only shortcoming would be that I tend to need the familiar tu/toi but translator only gives vous. Though I can't see how you'd get round that.

Really easy to use, I think it would be good, if I could store what I've looked to translate, for reference later. But it works perfectly, my French friends can understand me, so it's good

Quick reference to words and phrases. Many times identical to Duolingo. Verb conjugation is limited so differences between vous and tu, for example are often lacking.

Recently I came across this Translator and there it was my happy place where it's easier for me to use Google voice tool to translate and also helps me to learn pronounciation!! Great effort team! Good luck to you guys!!!

This was awsome! I love it. I can turn English into french and french into english. But the thing is we want the internet connection to search the words. Other than that no queries. 👌 its great. As I am learning french its very useful.

it is a excellent way for conversations. because this application has both option. We can learn with sounding pronunciation of language.. do you have same app.for other languages like German, Spanish.etc. thanks & regards Sanjay kumar

Good and effective app it is very easy to translat, I use it with my studen.Try to improve the voice recorder ,it will be very easy for illitrad.

Very easy to use and no trouble at all. But if I see another Trump advertisement I'm going to delete this application and use another one. What are you going to have next a Putin advertisement? You have went too far for my taste. You guys are really f****** desperate now you have Donald Trump advertisements that's messed up

Very useful for checking grammatical and idiomatic constructions while learning the french language. Frequency of Ad interruption can be quite frustrating.

The app is very useful and user friendly. I wish there was no pop up advert that distracts.
