Very frustrating. Applications are not working properly for Android devices. 3 accounts cannot create or save new customers information for estimates/ invoices. Called cust service. Days ago. Have heard nothing since. This is affecting efficiency with customers; thinking about canceling the service and going to one more reliable with better customer service.
The app works. Not well enough to pay for it though. It requires me to sign in again way too often. But more importantly, when I finally sign in again, it shows an irritating message to create my first estimate. And FreshBooks just won't let me do anything else. I have to kill it and start all over.
I love their web interface, but their app features a significantly pared down feature-set. You can't generate invoices from tracked time, you can't see stats about your tracked time, you can't even view much less edit projects. You can't even mark invoices as sent.
Awesome App. It has helped with my loan business. Suggestion for improvement are: allow for invoice to have one payment date. Also not sure why invoices are shown in draft, also allow for reports to be generated on phone. Notwithstanding great app.
Good app finally sorted, after some issues for upgrading which you can't do through the app as it continually crashes, but it can be done online so, so far so good. Fingers crossed it's ok from now on. Thanks
I can't even enter client name and info. It doesn't save. The app isn't even usable. Invoice feature is extremely useless.
App doesn't work as well as classic did. Doesn't allow time to be viewed as a month, only by day, makes it hard to recap by the week or month. Can't manage projects from app anymore. Desktop program is just as bad... Don't waste your time on the new version. Also forces you to use app from phone browser instead of desktop version. Desktop version is very slow and takes more steps and time to do daily tasks then in classic version that was awesome.
New interface terrible. Edit: additional star for the customer service. Very good. But U really need to be using the desktop version to do things properly
"Not a fair organization" We have had a long journey with them, almost a decade. Lately, the support has been a big letdown. Recently, they charged us for an extra seat for months and, instead of taking a proactive approach to rectify after pointing it out, stated we cannot do much about it.
Freshbooks has been extremely helpful to our very small cleaning business. I could never remember to send Weekly invoices, and with Freshbooks I'm able to have them sent automatically and recurring. It's a breeze if I need to make changes, edits, and payment updates. And payment itself is pretty painless too. Not the lowest fees around but far from being the highest either, with options for ACH and all major credit cards. We're extremely grateful for Freshbooks!
great just wish it had a set up to take monthly payments with a payoff and a amount owed section. if it calculated automatically the amount paid thus far it would help out. plus needs a section to save previous sent invoices for each client so you dont have to sort through drafts, paid, or unpaid, each time. Although I will continue using it even the way it is.
Bank sync doesn't and bill payment doesn't work even after verification. All it says is it syncing. Help doesn't help either!!!
I'm always having problems with this app, always afraid I'm going to lose my info. Thanks LT that fixed it. I was just afraid of losing my job info.
Great software with many apps integration. Great for accounting, billing and get payments.
I've really enjoyed fresh books from the very beginning. It got better after I called for tech support and a real person answered.
Simple to use on both the computer and phone app, easy to read and navigate for both me and clients, very basic use but a lot more features I have yet to learn that will definitely come in handy in the future.
It's great but if there was a way for people using this app to be able to see their hours added up per week that would be amazing

I have been looking for an accountancy software for a while. Barclays are offering Freshbooks as part of my business account. At some point HMRC will want their payments quarterly. Hence the move to this software. Plus trying to manage my money better and save time. The software on a desktop is completely obsessed with sending an invoice. In your face eveytine you log in. The most annoying feature is how bad the mileage tracker is. It has missed over five trips at this point. So disappointing.
