Update: They really care! So I want to start out by saying WOW! Fresh Direct is AMAZING! I have used Instacart for the last 3 years and honestly I gave them a 1 star review and told them I was done! I ordered fresh Direct everything was delivered on time, fresh, and PERFECT. I'm so happy with my order I almost cried after having almost 10 negative recorded experiences from other companies. This is how grocery delivery was meant to be. The app is a little sluggish but overall the best experience.

A great help when you have a disability and need help to get your grocery and items at your door. delivery is smooth and very polite personnel. moreover, save you time and offer great deals and discounts. Quality is better than in many supermarkets. highly recommend.

This app has a lot of great features but they don't work. I have to log in every time and sometimes it asks for my address 3 times without saving it. Modifying orders may or may not work. It stalls out and I should really just use my browser, but buying groceries from my phone when I remember is better for me.

Login works at most 5% of the time. Most of the time I just give up. When the app does work, it's clunky and slow. Awful app experience.

An amazing group of people work for this company. from delivery people to customer service, even when there's an issue, I've very rarely been dissatisfied. A++

I love Fresh Direct, but this app is so glitchy. I hate having to log in EVERY time I wanna order something.

It won't let me sign in to my account on the app, but I have no problem signing in online, the app keeps telling me that my email address and password are wrong, when it's the same one I use online.

I've been using Fresh Direct for years. For those of us working full time it's a godsend. The quality of the food is good and the prices aren't bad. I highly recommend Fresh Direct.

painfully, horribly slow, to the point where it really affects my buying behavior in a way that is negative for the company. with Amazon as an example, the app is so quick that whenever I think of something I want, I added to my card or I buy it. with fresh direct, even opening the app on a modern cell phone takes 10 seconds and checking out of the fresh direct card or adding something to an existing order is a real occasion, resulting in me buying a lot less than I would like to.

Nice idea but the fact that I had to go back online to order, because this app won't let you add your phone number at checkout is almost bad for business because you can't checkout unless you do this. I almost went with another company entirely. Also, the hold that they put on your card looks like they charge twice. I'm not comfortable with that. I called to inquire but I'm still lacking trust now. Uninstalling.

This app can be very frustrating. It adds extra items to orders so I have to be very vigilant when I pick an item that it doesn't add 3 or 4 extra items to my cart when I only wanted one. It never remembers my account or address. Makes me lose my ordering window because of login glitches or deleted cart items that I end up rushing to whole foods to stand in line and ponder my hunger and existence.. I know, first world problems! I want to order my Steaks and eat them too! darn it!

Put in an order for delivery for 12PM Wednesday. Forgot to add milk. The cutoff time to change the order was 11am Tuesday, i.e. more than 24 hours. No help from customer service to add the item.

Not functional most of the time every other update it seems that they fix the app somewhat and with the next they break it again the delete button does not work for removing items that aren't available so I can't go through with my order. I installed the app on my iPhone and it works just fine. Android needs the same energy you have for iOS fresh direct

This app is terrible. The layout of everything is not helpful at all, you have to search every specific type of item you want, rather than displaying categories (meat, dairy, etc.), making it very easy to overlook items you need. I can't even put in my apartmrnt because their aufofill address and the manual address i give is aparently not valid. These people need to get it together.

App is superb...prices are competitive... quality of prepared foods is always excellent: Fresh Direct croissants are the some of the very best croissants you can find anywhere in New York City - better than what you will get in many of the finest bakery restaurants.

The app is easy to navigate, and very convenient for modifying grocery orders before the cut-off time.

I love using fresh direct. The food is always fresh and they rarely substitute items from my order or make mistakes.

Awful. It's actually shocking that an app can be this bad in 2021. * It doesn't keep you signed in * Even after signing in it needs you to update your delivery address. People don't move that often, it's safe to assume I'm at the same house as yesterday. * Adding multiple items is not intuitive and God help you if you want say 10 of something. * Removing things is also not easy and requires you be in the cart view. * I frequently get to my cart and multiple things have been duplicated.

Looks like my review was deleted by FD dev response... My first experience was not good. After spending time to get the app ready with all my info and then starting my order, nearly done, the app crashes and didn't save my cart or info I entered. Never had this issue with stop n shop or others when their app crashed. They always save the cart. Now they say they don't delete accounts. Your info is there's forever and they don't delete anything. Bad practice. And I will be fighting this.

It's a great service and they tend to get organic products I can't find among my three local grocery stores. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is the few times that I have received an order that was wrong. and by wrong I mean it looks like someone through whatever they wanted into the bag and then didn't send it to the next department to complete the order.

Love fresh direct! To achieve perfection add more product lines.

Problem: I can no longer add an item to a Pending Order. It just adds the item directly to a new cart. When I add an item, a menu pops up with two buttons - "Create New Order" or "Add to Pending Order." The menu usually disappears before I can tap "Add to a Pending Order," and it just adds it to a new cart. Even if I tap the button in time, the same thing happens.

The app doesn't allow you to add a tip; I had to go to the web browser

UI could be smoother and improved

this app is horrible. its extremely slow and every tim I pick something to app to my cart it says they need an address to deliver to. When I put the address it just loads for a very long time only to never have anything happen. I have refreshed, closed, reopened, deleted and redownloaded this app. Nothing has changed...

Not Too Good Nothing but trouble trying to use this app on my Samsung tablet. Was not able to fill in my address and it kept defaulting to Required fields but would not keep the fields filled and my work address and zip code kept popping up even though this is a home delivery. Plus, I'm not even at work, have never ordered from work, so after a frustrating 20 minutes, I gave up. Do not reccomend!
