Mind that I am rating the app and not the service. The service is good and the food is delicious and fresh. However in the app you can't search for a food. I understand it has sort of everyday menu but again when it switches between two categories of food you don't realise it plus it's sort of just disappointing. And once the food is in your cart , you can't tap on th food to know the details of it.
The food is overall great, Ive been a regular customer since 2016, but the quality a little and the quantity has drastically reduced from before. Other than that the new dishes are pretty good. My problem is that the new update has made the app very slow and it does not load up fast at all, I'm using a 150mbps speed and my phone is a note 9 so they're not any problem, it takes very long to load the dishes on the app, please make sure to fix this. Thank you.
Easy to use app, nice ux, intuitive experience, simple and graphical choice, actual food service is tasty, based in variety, expensive for the service, but as of now good discount offers keep the cost manageable (but on specific days). If offers go away, this isn't a dependable choice. Suggestion: reminders are way too often - I don't want to be reminded everyday I need to take lunch from here, that's a problem Android is creating and encouraging , if it's too much we would one day uninstall the app.
Used to be amazing a few years back when I first started using the app for food, both in terms of taste, quality and packaging. Now it is simply horrible. You can easily see that they are cost cutting when you recieve the package itself. Quantity has become sooo less. Food doesn't look appealing anymore, but a big mess. Cheap quality packing. Cheap ingredients. Used to be a regular customer. But I am stopping and I urge you all to not waste your money with Freshmenu.
I used Freshmenu because it assured of safe handling of food during Covid times. However, my experience was not at all pleasant because of the following reasons: (1) Very frequently their app is unable to take orders. One common problem is it shows "No items in your cart" when you click on "Place Order", despite having selected items. I have heard some of my friends face this problem as well. I have to get in touch with their customer support and it takes a day to resolve the issue. (2) Their feature of "Pre-Order" is extremely disappointing. 9 out of 10 times, if I place a 'Pre-Order' at night, it gets cancelled in the morning citing reason as 'Item not available.' (3) The customer support and support on social media is very unsatisfactory. I mailed them for bulk order 3 days back, and they have not completed the order. Apparently, they are "checking about this". (4) They lack variety and have a limited number of dishes (especially in Veg items). Besides, they run 'Out of Stock' very soon. There are some selected restaurants on Swiggy and Zomato that are following safety protocols. My experience there has been 100x better.
Food! If you enjoy global cuisine, then Fresh Menu is for you. If you enjoy the best of India food, this again is the right choice. At one time, I was addicted to Fresh Menu - ordering almost everyday, even though I had a full-fledged kitchen. Their various food categories are worth a try, every single time. And the desserts, yummilicious. The final package is the packing!! Neat boxes complete with cutlery kits.
As a regular of FM, I have to say that the quality exceeds my expectations always. Could increase portions slightly and have a few more offers. But nonetheless exceptional service and tasty food. I use the app almost daily for lunch and have only had a few ignorable issues. Thank you for providing us with good healthy options for food.
Such an elementary mistake not expected from such a big player. Back button makes you directly exit the app. Everytime you exit, you have to start all over again. All the dishes you have searched is all gone. The system takes 10-15 seconds to revert, given GPS settings and all. Elementary school boy error. Just add one "are you sure" screen before exit, will you ?
Freshmenu is back with more menu items and improved app experience. I always enjoyed their food and service efficiency. The packaging is also top notch and with the large spread now its a go to app for your food needs. The food spread is very thoughtful too. I can nitpick one or two but it's unnecessary given that those are smaller asthetics which would be future updates any way. Thanks you guys survived the tough period and friends...your customers are back and happy.
Freshmenu delivery service is too good. Packaging is good. Quality of the food is good except for a few dishes like sandwiches, Mac arrabitta which can be improved. Also, I loved the broccoli penne pesto pasta which was there in the menu only once. Please bring that back in the menu again. Thanks for the quick service always and good food.
I normally don't provide a negative review unless I'm very disappointed. My experience off late has been really bad with Fresh Menu unfortunately, with several order being delayed (upto 2hrs) at times. I don't see how the food can be fresh after delivering it that late. I've been a regular user for over a year but I'll be removing this app. Edit : I thought of giving this another shot. No good. It's still comes delayed almost 2 hours. I'm uninstalling this for good.
FreshMenu's customer support is not accessible. They just show the delivery executive's number (which is usually switched off) and no way to contact them. They have an FAQ which simply asks you to email them but nowhere in the app it tells you their email address. Given that there is other competition that goes out of their way to ensure good customer experience, FreshMenu should really improve their game.
No way to contact customer service. For issues, one has to write an email instead if in-app chat or messaging. Can't find a phone number to call in the app, finally found it on Zomato. Any company which makes it hard for customers to contact the company for service or issues doesn't really care about the customers or really want to resolve issues.
I have paid for my order through GooglePay and it was confirmed on Google pay as well with the amount being deducted from my account. Just because the app didn't receive a notification, I had to pay through lazy pay. It is so pathetic that the amount is not even refunded after a failed transaction and your help center has nothing that outlined a refund for a failed payment. And for the love of God, just find a way to make it easier to contact customer support through the app.
Almost everything about the app is good. I really like the fact that you can change the delivery address after placing the order (figures that out today). The reason why I gave this app a single star is because their discounts are a total scam. For instance their prices are shown slashed all the time. Another instance that happened to me today was the ₹100 cashback on Google pay. I read all the terms and conditions, and thought that the cashback would come to me via Google pay. The cashback came to the frsshmenu wallet. This was still fine. I went to order more food and turned out that I can only use a fraction of the cashback for my orders. This I felt was a total scam as it was mentioned LITERALLY NOWHERE before I placed my cashback offer.
Adding address is very difficult. Even if I have signed up an account, they just don't proceed ahead after adding the address. I tried many times and I give up. Kindly don't ask me to send a screenshot. If the app developer is concerned Abt this issue, then make the app useful like other home delivery apps like swiggy, zomato. These other apps doesn't cause much error
Very unpleasant experience! Today at my work we all decided to order from freshmenu. Total were 6 dishes from which 2 were completely wrong and one dish they forgot to send. But we had to pay for everything. Have been trying to speak to someone but it is impossible to reach out to any one from freshmenu menu neither there is a proper costumer care.
Trust me, freshmenu was one of my fab. During 2019 -20 i ordered from them almost every alternate day. The test , quantity, quality everything was top noch. Day before yesterday I had order the same food which I use to order before COVID...Trust me I just shoked by just seeing the food itself. Quantity - you can't compare the real food with picture they display in app. It's like you see haven pic and in reality it's hell.Test also is just average. No Bowl 🥣 . Price are gone way high.
Worst experience ever. First of all, two hours delay in getting any response after ordering. Then they cancel the order. And for refund they are unable to send back to UPI eventhough they accept money via UPI. They need bank details for refund! May be this is the last time we order in freshmenu due to this 0% reliability.
Okay so here are the issues I observed. First the menu is hard to navigate. There is no way to organise by veg/non veg, high to low etc like Swiggy and Zomato have. Second is that the ALLNEW promo code mentioned in the app does not work. The app also says to use the referral code to get a discount. Nothing happens when I input the referral code.The referral code does nothing. The feature does not work. I tried calling the helpline but they said to send an email. So that was a waste of time for me to get the referral code in the first place.
The freshclub is just a name there is nothing special that you get from it, i just purchased a freshclub membership and wanted to check out the exclusive menu, which was not exclusive at all. It is just a combo of regular items on the non exclusive menu and the best part the the price for the combo is more than the aggregated price of the same individual items 🤣. Dont waste your money in purchasing a freshclub subscription. please read the review carefully and try to understand what i am saying
i am a very regular freshmenu customer and i tend to always order from it. Don't get me wrong, i love the food to another level. But the app of freshmenu has become so horrible overtime that i avoid ordering in it. It gets stuck during scrolling. Million Times. And no matter how many times i uninstall and reinstall it back, it is the same. It is very annoying and frustrating and makes me not want to order from it. Most of the times, i will not be able to see many of the dishes that is there.
