Earlier ut was great!! Had so many discounts, offers and most of the transactions was ablle to perform without a charge. Day by day it getting worse. 😂 If u get a notification to update the app, its definitely to limit, apply charges for transactions. Once they introduced a minimum top up limit but it was a failure & many customers stopped using the service. Like other banking apps now they also started to charge a annual fee for the service.
It was working absolutely fine untill the last update, I had given 5 star rating also. But now it's the slowest app in my phone, takes forever to login and load a page, fingerprint access desont work even after re-enabaling it from the security menu. Takes a good minute to load any interface. The new interfaces are stunning, but the slowness of the app makes it absolutely useless. I've been using FriMi as the main banking app since they started. This is the biggest let down. (OP7Pro Android 10)
You provide the physical debit card free and now charging 😡 annual fee. I don't think most of the users are used this card. Even I am not. I know you will reply to this by mentioning 'we have updated terms and conditions'. But I am really disappointed with NTB. I asked them to cancel my card and reimburse the money. But no luck. Let us know when I r planning to add new fee for the app! New UIs are horrible User experience has moved to bottom Chat feature is not working correctly And more bugs
This used to be a very user friendly app. And with a recent update now we cant use our attached bank accounts to make transfers, which make us to Top Up all the time. When topping up, had the feature to top up any amount we needed and now we have to select a slot they provide which is very inconvenient. For me, this is more like a downgrade rather than an upgrade. DISSAPOINTED !!!
I'm using the app on a Pixel 2xl device, the app only works on landscape mode cannot be turned to portrait mode even when auto rotation is turned off. Other than that the app crashes frequently and doesnt work unless I clear app data or reinstall the app. The above issue was fixed in a later update release. Thank you.
Bad customer service and experience. Had to call in to activate the account and there were no agents available. I was told they would call back, but that didn't happen. Did a little research while waiting for the call and figured the NFC payment is not PayWave, so it's not internationally accepted and limited to their registered merchants. Uninstalled the crapware.
Good app with easy to use UI. There are few things need to be update. 1. No notification pop up for a debit transaction. Have to check transaction history manually 2. There are two entries (Top up and CEFT) for a credit transaction when top up using linked other bank accounts. This provide wrong interpretation of total credict value.
App getting worst in each updates. Mostly I use this to pay my credit cards by registering my combank card here. In last version also the had a option to choose my combank card while Im entering to pay CC. But in new update, my card is missing. So I do the topup and then move on to the paying page, I can see the card again. It's worst bug. And also there are no any option to select my saved (Favorite) templates without entering amount and description. This is a very bad user experiance
I have used the app for a long time now and it's so user friendly and served it's purpose, but time and again certain features such as the transaction history and notifications are simply not available now. Hope the developer can look into it and fix asap.
My app (Android Version) has not been functioning for months now. Every time I try to send or receive money or carry out any function the same error message appears (System Malfunction). Customer support has no idea what the issue is. I insisted on an agent visiting and when he finally arrived, he too could not figure it out. Finally, he said the company that developed the app for them will try and figure it out. Its been 3 weeks with no response and my money is stuck in the app. Disappointing
After the new update you cannot top up any value you want. Instead you can only select fixed amounts for example 2500, 7500, 15000 and 25000. This is highly inconvenient for payments because you have to topup more than the amount you actually need. Extremely disappointed about the new update and as a result I don't use FRIMI often. You guys better bring the top up option back to how it was where you could enter any top up value or say good bye to your customers!
I tried to register & inserted my mobile number & email id after few steps but I won't get the OTP through SMS. Tried multiple times throughout the day & I noticed that when it says that the app sent me an OTP, it says they sent it to "0000000000" & not the number I inserted there. Tried inserting many mobile numbers but got the same results. Please fix this!!!
It's been a while since you guys released an update and I believe competitors are catching up and the app needs a revamp. One major suggestion I have is to change LankaQR flow to support dyanmic QR. It should be scan the QR code first and then enter the amount or autofill it for dynamic QR. Not amount-first and scan next.
App was working very well for me. EDIT: the app works but customer support is very poor. The hotline never works! You're kept on hold forever while a horrible jingle plays on repeat.
Fingerprint wasn't working for me after the update untill i disbale the finger print and re-enabling it (in frimi setting). Fingerprint was fine after that. But still the last layout was perfect than the new one. I would've given 5 if the app's layout is more user friendly.
The app is great for payment but users do not get detail of transactions. like the transferred account number. other details If you can give a graph or grid on daily expense, bill payments , other transactional classification. So the users know where they are a spending the most. real time transactional classification. It will enhance the brand too
Frimi is fine and I like that very much. But the thing is now you charge for few utility bill payments. When we are starting with frimi it give so many refunds discounts and say this is one and only best mobile banking app without having any charges. But now it is worst.
The app not up to the beta testing level. I had an issue of duplicate transaction and hope they have fixed it as I told the use case and how to fix it too, though my transaction is still not recovered and no sign of recovering it. Now I have issue of activating the debt card received from the Galle branch. They asking me to have a call to FriMi again to activate it. I am totally confused and disappointed I have to call while in the bank. Customer care is waste of time, many times.
The overall service is good. As an improvement, when viewing the transaction history, at the first window itself, the user should be able to see the merchant details. However, the current app enables us to view the merchant details only when we click the particular transaction. It's inconvenient.
No options to turn off useless promotional notifications. They are keep sending stupid notifications like " congratulating on expenses and asking to do more expenses to win a price " The only option is turning off all notification (that's Frimi's suggestion). But I need transaction notifications! That's what I signedup for.
Was very useful and reasonable when they launched. But now they are changing their T&C and charge customers without any prior notice. There may be a fee for the service they provide. That's reasonable. But the problem is they just don't care about the customers' rights. The most recent case was the physical debit card annual fee. I can't recommend frimi to others because of this reckless behavior.
The new update is so slow, I could finish my breakfast while the app was "fetching data". A lot of effort put into screwing up the app that was almost working nornally. Almost... Earlier there was an issue with the fingerprint. Now the fingerprint works but the rest of the app is broken. 😂 Noice ! Edit - They updated it, now it's working fine
Payment confirmation button has to press several time to find the sweet spot. With new update minimum top-up amount is introduced. I don't understand what is in the wrong with them, app updates are intended to bring new features and fix bugs, but in Frimi app update is the bug. I think it's time to move in to another app.
I don't understand this concept. I have added the Commercial bank to the app. When I transfer money from Commercial Card to another friend. It says you're transaction isn't successful and it top ups Frimi account. Then I need to do another transfer from FRIMI card to my friends account. This is absurd and it costs double transaction charges. Please do make necessary changes
It was very good at the time it was introduced. Now it's getting worse with newly imposed taxes , low interest rates and now even cannot top up a desired amount from the other connected accounts. Yes, it's getting worse. Edit : Glad they reversed fixed top up values update. Happy to see you are taking reviews into consideration.
This is a useful app but there are some areas to be improved. Reliability issues also are there. After I making a transaction, money deducted from the account but transaction was not succeeded. However they refunded money after I contacted FriMi. That kind of things are critical issues in a banking app.
It used to be a fair app that was very helpful. But with minimum top-up value make it worthless. There is problem with my app coz it's connected to a site that makes auto payments. I informed it months ago but still no response and now with the minimum top-up value 2500 I can't hold that amount since auto payments. So completely disappointed
I started using Frimi recently and so far, I'm satisfied. The registration process was simple and easy. And yes, there was a video call verification which wasn't a big deal like most people are complaining. The app is extremely user friendly and not frustrating to use like most apps. It offers a wide range of services which makes things hassle free. I also like the "Bucket List" and "Round Up" savings initiative, it makes saving money more interesting. A job well done!
