It doesn't work like the description said.

Terrible customer support service. I can't get Fring going on my cell - endless error messages. I submitted numerous customer support request - at best I received an automated response, at the worst I have been consistently ignored. Oh, and yes, the quality of calls (when I was still able to make them) was bad too, with frequent call dropping and bad sound quality with interruptions, breaks and delays. I advise against using this service. I will not, despite credit left on the account.

USING IT MORE THAN SKYPE TO CALL CELL PHONES. Calls to Malawi work 50% of the time now. Fring can be an amazing app using slow networks like in Africa. Fring offers a great rate - better than Skype subscriptions. Will use it for another 30 days and see if most calls work, I can dump my Vonage service and use Skype only for emergency when Fring fails

A nice calling app with decent call quality, small app size and a user-friendly interface. But it does not show the calls missed when you were offline. Also, when you go online while someone is calling you, you would naturally expect to start ringing as soon as the network connectivity is established. But this didn't happen in my case during the brief test run. Another similar app named "imo" is a better alternative until these little shortcomings are worked upon.

Cell phone plans do not make it easy or inexpensive to use your phone internationally and because I have a droid and my sons mom has an iphone we had to find something that worked for both. Video chats, phone and texts were all awesome. So long as you have a solid internet connection it works great

Been using this app for a few yrs, but for last six months having trouble connecting the call, call also drops half way...today says internet cannot take voip calls...bugs needs to be fixed asap else im taking my business elsewhere

Fring was the first application that supports Symbian and UIQ 3 which there was no android thing that time unfortunately they couldn't make it popular on android and ios comparing with other applications till date. it was greater in the past with Skype calling facilities. Make the use of new platforms and make it better than ever. I'm 6 years with firing but none of my friends has it on their mobile

It was working fine at first, now you can't ever see the other person but they can see you during video chats, most times your looking at your self and the box for the other person never appears. I have took the app off my phone and deactivated the account and nothing helped the video chat to work again. The calls drop a lot too, so I give up.. I'm going to find a better face time app

This is one of the first and best mobile software for keeping in touch with your loved ones. At my work place in Saudia I was the first to find it through intense search. Now a lot of people are benefitting with this application almost all over the kingdom. Fringout call is the best voip call from Saudia but a little bit higher than other voip or sip calls from KSA. Now fring is not usable as it was before. After merging the account I personally have faced the problem.

It is really good than Skype etc and it works on low Internet. But sometimes when I call to someone they don't get it. From my side the bell goes but they don't get it. Please fix this problem. Then I will give you give stars :)

I love Fring. It is loud and clear. Use very little data compared to other VoIP s. Much better than Skype and nimbuz in slow internet. I give four out of five stars. Why I gave one star less? Fring was much better in Symbian era. Recently Fring made some changes which we lost some important features. Before we could see other person is logon now cannot see that. I suggest Fring for any body who is going to use VoIP.

I have to tell you, I WANTED fring to work better than Skype, originally it was a better deal. But I've had fring a long time now, and it's not because I'm a loyal customer. It's because I haven't found a use for the credit I originally purchased so long ago. Why no use? Because calls drop so often and so quickly if it DOES connect, that you could time them almost precisely as to when they'll drop. My attempted calls from the U.S. to N.Z. drop around 43seconds into the call, like clockwork. Good thing the rate to call is so low. At least I can take solace in that while slowly being sucked dry of funds I'm not able to appropriately use.

Really cheap international phone calls is what it can do. But the audio quality is for some reason way, way worse than when making an ordinary cellular call. It's so bad that people on the other end have a lot of trouble understanding me, and often asks if my phone is on speaker (which it isn't). If the audio quality was improved it would easily get 5 stars, but as it stands I can't really recommend it.

I have tried 3 calling apps, all have some problems, fring is consistent with video and voice. One problem of fring is that person on other end is upside down, another problem is the menu that has camera, speaker, etc does not come up. It is also very low voice even though i have it on speaker. I have been using fring to call Rome, and a few other small towns in Italy.

I have been using this app for years since having symbian on my Nokia & has worked fine up until my S5!! It tells me my phone is not compatible with voip & doesn't even pick up contacts who also use fringe. Please sort as I'm lost without this.

Topped up my old account with 20€ and nothing... lost the money... contacted support twice no reply at all... used fring a few years ago and loved it. Now looks more like a scam. Even if I try to link accounts gives always some server related error...

They gonna take your money but will not give u any credit. It happened to me and my other 2 frnds. They are stealers. Be careful to download this app. Saddest part is they dont even reply to your emails and solve the problem. BLOODY THEIVES!

There is no fringout option in the menu. I tried to buy monthly pack but it stopped fircely. This app is vry good on low data usage. While other apps use too much 3g data. It will be so good if user name will be used. Mobile no always leake privacy. Thanx.

This application was working, until their upgrade, back in autumn, last year. I had nearly 10 Euro FringOut credits and a FringIn test number, which were lost. The app seems all time outdated and offline, even with the latest version available here. I even wrote to their Paypal email address, but no one replied back... It was ober 40 days since purchase, so I couldn't open a dispute... Use it for free, if needed, BUT DO NOT PAY for their services, will be a total rip-off... Shame on you!

Better then skype and nice features. Works on low internet connection. One issue, I didn't know thay my other contact where seeing me like if I zoom in while on a video call and I thought while on a video call they were to close to their phone cam. Can that be fixed? I'm using samsung galaxy note2 with koodo and wifi connection. Thanks

It work work pretty good when i first installed it...then after awhile while your on a call for like a minute or ao it ends the call. Sometimes it just does it for no reason and sometimes it says connection issues etc etc. Fix this and it will be great! Ohh and maybe some games along with this would make its a plus plus! Right now, im thinking ill go back to Tango, but i like the feature where you can have more than one person on the line.

0 customer support, New updated design but their improvements came at a cost and lost huge amount of customers including myself due to lengthy service downtime & increased phone calling prices to my calling country by up to 900% without warning or acknowledgments. To date well over a year, all support requests have been ignored. I don't see the need for this service when prices are similar to Skype for an inferior service.

Nice app but need more improvment during group calls it will make Eco in voice and when we press back key it shows exit but it become more useful if it also runs in background and last auto contact syncronization function is missing. Resolve these issues and make it a perfect aap. Thanx

I charged some $ using my old account. Then got this app to the phone. It didnt prompt me to use my current username, it only allows me to use my phone number as a username. I tred to merge btwen the 2 accounts from pc but neither iexplorer nor chrome supported!!!! Only firefox was able to deal with that merging window. However even after getting the code on phone to merge accounts it still failed and shows me "unexpetcted server error"!! now my money stuck at the web version. They dont eve have pc version!

Got it to talk with dad's iPhone & it works well enough. Receiving calls does not seem to ring thru well tho, unless I call him first & have him "load" fring up ahead of time, then he can answer normally.
