Friskies® new Cat Fishing 2 is an all-new game designed especially for cats. Tap “start” and get ready to watch your cat go for the catch of the day. The more she catches, the more challenging the game gets. Three levels of fun with one, two, and three fish at a time. And when the game is done you can share your cat's score on Facebook, or post your cat's high score on the world-wide Leaderboard.
How to play Cat Fishing 2:
• Place Device on flat surface near your cat.
• Tap “start.”
• Watch your cat score points.
• If your cat stops playing for 30 seconds or more, the game will "meow" to attract her attention
• Reward your cat for winning. (We suggest some Friskies® Seafood Sensations®.)
Please be aware that in our experience, the bare glass screen holds up trouble-free to a cat’s claws, but plastic add-on screen protectors might not.

It's not really free if I have to sign up to be tracked and get junk email for the next year. You're just making people pay with their time wasted.
My cat loves this! The thing is, the gameplay is VERY short and once it reaches level three, there is too much input; too many things moving around. Anyway, the motion is perfect, and the bright colors make the fish stand out. I would suggest to just have just one or two fish, and continuous screen time.
My cat loved the old version. As soon as he heard the splashing of the game starting he would get super excited and hyped up. It was like the song from Rocky for him. This new version doesnt catch his attention at all. I've tried the customization options to see if there is something he would like more, but it wouldn't matter if I did find something he liked because the options don't stick for very long. Bring back the old version. This one is nothing but disappointment.
My cat wasn't interested in it first time. Didn't try again for awhile. Next time I went to try it again, I needed to create account. I did that the first time. No option to sign in. Uninstalled
The original app was better, it was designed for the lovecof cats. This app is motivated by greed, why do you need my email?
Would not recommend my cats don't even play this they just look at the fish, drain my phone battery, and start to walk away
Why do I need to create an account for my cat? He was super interested in my phone so I wanted to quickly download a game to see if you would play it and the amount of time it took to set everything up he's no longer interested. I had to close the app four times to get it tow function. Completely unnecessary and take some entirely too long to set up. Very loud and not interesting. Uninstalling and will not reinstall
Pretty much the same experience as others. I downloaded the app, fired it up, and was welcomed with a login screen. No option to bypass. YOU HAVE TO MAKE AN ACCOUNT TO USE. So, I uninstalled and wrote this review. It could be an awesome app but I'll never know because I don't put up with these shenanigans.
Awful from the start. I'm required to create an account to use the app. Stupid choice to create the app this way. I would have happily dealt with a few cat food commercials but I'm not giving you my email address too. Just no. Deleted the app after writing this.
I would give 5 stars I just want the fish to disappear when you click it instead of lighting up. I love the different fish options and ability to make profiles for your cats. Best cat game on the market right now, I have tried all of them lol. I also wish you didn't have to start a game to change the fish settings.
My cat loves this game. He learned the command "tap it" and "wait" as we played. He looks forward to his game time each morning and, honestly, it is just adorable to see him so interested in it. It is very easy for him to maneuver and use and it holds his attention well.
The old one was great. My cat would go crazy. This newer version with the music and all the different options however, nope, she doesn't care for it at all. Bring back the last one. She used to come running when she heard the sound on that one. It run smoothly, that's about the only positive.
My cat absolutely loves this game. It's his favorite game by far. I'd give it 5 stars, except for two annoyances. 1) The game has points and levels. What's the purpose of this? Cats don't care about points or levels. They care about grabbing at brightly colored fishies, I care about not getting up every three minutes to restart the game for my cat. The game should just go on forever, until I exit, so my cat can play as long as he wants without having to meow loudly at me every few minutes to restart his game. -1 star for micromanaging and making my cat sad. 2) The home screen (which the game returns to after the final level) has a big "Share on Twitter" button on it. I don't need a button that big, but you know who does? My cat. He lays right on it, in fact, so that half the time the game ends, he ends up hitting the button and jumping onto Twitter. This button is unnecessary and causes a poor user experience. -1 star for giving my cat easy access to Twitter, and making me micromanage more. I'd love to give this app 5 stars, but the gamification is pointless,
Won't allow play without sign in? Why do I have to sign in in the first place? Before the update it was fine, now it won't even allow play unless you sign in with Facebook. Already had an account using my email however forgot the password, why doesn't it have a password reset option? Very disappointed.
lame, bc it only gives 1:30 minutes to all the levels, so the cats have to wait for me to reset it. also it doesnt lock the screen so my cat exists the screen and goes to their website. they are also just generally bored with it. i got another app and it was way better my 4 cats all loved it. the other app also has more than one 'toy' so if they get bored of one, they go to the next. that app alsk locked the screen, so cats didnt exit the game. this app is a total disappointment. do not get it.
I can't enter in as a guest or create a profile as the keyboard does not pop up. It did on the first use but after that nothing. It's a free app for my cat so meh, but it is cute to watch her play. The one time I could log in she was engrossed by it.
The game is fine. Does exactly what it is claims to do - put fish on the screen to mimic the top down view of an aquarium, in the hopes a cat will paw at the fish and make them disappear on the screen. However, don't EXPECT your cats to love it. My two very playful cats ignore this game more than they ignore me when I tell them to go lay down. I'm not saying there is a better game out there for cats, but this one doesn't win every cat over.
The new update on this app took away the bubble noises at the start of the game and in between the levels, which was my cats favorite part! For our girl kitty she liked that the old version had big rainbow colored fish. The new update has tiny fish that are all one color. They have now both lost interest.
My kitten loves this game and the sound effects. She has physical disabilities so I've been using it to help build strength and coordination, but I wish it had an option for endless fish instead of the timed rounds.
This game used to be great. The bubbles and calm movements helped unwind my cat when he got antsy. He would just stare and tap away at the little fishes. Now? He won't touch it and I think its the ripple effect. Maybe add ripple effect yes/no to the list of customizations?
Update: I thought the big update to a customizeable pond would be great, cat hates it. She won't even look at my phone while it's on no matter what settings I use now. Used to be hilarious watching her grab my phone and "eat" the fish! That bubble sound meant a good time was about to be had, she loved that version. Also, what's up with needing to log into Facebook to amuse your cat?
DO NOT DOWNLOAD! This app, after updating is terrible, absolute garbage. It has options that don't stick. The cat constantly opens up these options and stops the game. It now make guttural challenging fight noises on purpose to my cat, when it isn't making mating noises. What is wrong with you people?! This version is awful, who could have possibly thought this was good idea? P.S. I wish i could give this zero stars, to what would have been a 5 star review of the old version .
My cat doesn't want anything to do with the new version. She loved the old version and would come running when she heard the bubbles at the beginning. I will be uninstalling it since it won't be used anymore. Real shame they changed it.
Why did you change your app....I liked the old settings...you had more options....and a variety of fish shrimp and crabs....and they were faster than now...my cat just looks at it and falls asleep...friskas has the best food....I feed my cats dry and wet food together....take the new changes off
My cat is not interested at all since the update. The game options don't stick between rounds. Even large size fish are too small and it is harder for my cat to successfully 'catch' the fish now. The meow noises seem to distract my cat from the game, I guess the bubble noises were better.
I rate this 10/10. it is very easy to use, all you have to do is sign in by naming your cat and taking a picture of him/her (put in your email, and all of that.) then once you've done all of that, put the tablet or phone with the game on infront of your cat, then watch your cat play it! if your cat doesn't play the game, he/her are probably very tired, or not in the mood in that moment. I tried it with one of my cats, and it worked!
