The scooter offer is not that great, pretty hard to find a scooter at a 5 minutes walk range, plus the app is very misleading when it comes to the red areas, for some reason the logo/symbol for a scooter is just the prohibition sign when the map isn't zoomed in, and even though it seems like there are ten or more scooters near my area when zoomed out, when i zoom in there are none.
I'm really dissapointed by this app. I added 5 euros and when I want to stop to use it the app didn't stop and time kept counting. When I was able to finish the time, price was 6, 75. Which the app wasn't able to charge since I had allowed only 5. I wanted to pay the amount spent but the app kept asking me to add 5 more to the trip. So I couldn't pay only the amount I spent because the app give only options for 5, 10 and 20 euros. Unfair!
+ good scooter coverage 1. - major inconvinience: practice of payment only through fixed deposits of 5 euro minimum must be abandoned. Some money are allways lost for nothing, while any competitor app, from Circ to Uber, is able to charge exact amount from credit card. 2. - minor bug: the app's "Riding" notification with the ride time stays active even when the ride finished and app closed, until the app force stopped from settings
I have used this app 2 times, after that, a notification only disappeared after I forced stoped it. The worst part was after the last update I have lost my account and with that the past rides, payment information and the current balance I had.
The scooters are fine but the app is terrible. Took several minutes to end a ride and then it took rebooting my phone for the app to stop running and tracking my GPS signal. Uninstalled and won't be using it again.
The problem with this scooter app is that it doesn't charge you directly from your bank account or debit card but puts the money on your Frog account, so if there is a problem and you want your money back, its not possible to retrieve it. In my case, scooter had flat tire and it didn't drive properly and my friends scooter just stopped working in the middle of the drive and we had to walk back very long distance by foot. When I asked that I want the money back, its appearantly not possible.
Not worth it. After using the app for a while the scooters were removed from my area leaving me without any possibility of spending the money I placed on the app. Now I cant even send any ticket asking for the money because my account or my zone has been disabled by the app, sad move from a sad company. Dont even bother trying
Terrible. Cant lock or park in the same place I started. Timer is running over 30 minutes and support is unresponsive. Terrible!!
Bad experience. App is mediocre quality enough to get by but what really sucks is the consideration the business has towards customers. Wallets are not refundable and the whole customer experience is poor. I recommend you not spending money here
The cheapest rental I found. App is not perfect and has bugs, but my overall experience is super positive.
Scammers. Let me add my card only to let me know, IN THE END OF THE RIDE, that my card was not accepted and that I had to top up with a minimum of 5€. DON'T USE IT. You surely have other services available nearby!
Be careful, this app charges automatically your credit card. Instead billing the ride it puts a much higher amount to your app wallet. Once in your app wallet you will never get back your money.
Couldn't put on parking in allowed area where a lot of same scooters were parked. + It was made locked and I could not ride it to another area. All mai balance was charged.
I want my money back! I have created an account like 2 weeks ago, charged the account with 10€, today the app asked for login again (phone number, name and email) and guess what? My wallet is empty!
All i did was loose 5€ lol everytime i tried to use one of the scooter it was always either broken or under maintenance or whatever. The only thing they're good for is cluttering the streets of matosinhos with e-waste. Let Circ or bird handle it
app constantly crashing. unlocking takes about 1-2 minutes sometimes due to server error. time keeps running after locking the scooter.
In my family's city, there used to be a scooter all called Blinkee.city. These scooters left my city a few months ago and frog scooters were added. Frog scooters are better in general. They have better acceleration, they are more comfortable and have better breaks. Frog scooters are just built better In general. Thanks for the fun!
"10 minutes free" after you make a non refundable 5 euros deposit. Yeah right.. with 6 other BETTER platforms, this wont last

Cannot use a scotter, the app keeps crashing
Scamers, collected money from my credit card and the scooters are not working. Now I'm waiting for a refund since a week, but they just don't respond. Scamers

Issues with unlocking either broken or discharged scooters. Meanwhile the app does deduct the unlocking tariff!!
After claiming to offer me 10 free minutes they force me to charge the app with 5€. A total ripoff

They force you to go through all the setup process before they tell you that, unlike all other apps, you have to charge a minimum of 5€ to use it... forget it. Edit: this is not at all like most other rideshare companies: I've tried a few, and I've never had to make any deposit, which makes your advertising on the street quire deceiving.
