App seems to be of use so far. I'm disappointed in the fact that once it gives you a solution to the water levels you can't go back and view them individually. The water testing history only displays the fix to the levels.
App is poorly designed and counterintuitive to use. Once you record a water testing reading, you can't see what the various reasings were; only the summary of the result. Auto-generated reminders aren't being calculated correctly, and the dates the app asks you for during profile setup aren't clearly explained. Just kind of disappointing overall, and leaves a bit to be desired. Why bother making an app with such basic functionality, if you aren't going to even get the basics right?
Love that I know exactly how much of which chemicals to add! Only downfall I have noticed in 6 months of use is that there is no option for chlorine level/color to be correct. You have to choose either high or low level. Frustrating to never be able to see, "Good job! Perfect levels, do nothing different today."
Doesn't sync with your calendar. (Update) Developer responded that it was fixed. I re-synced with my Google account and it still didn't work. I even tried the "local calendar" option with no luck. Called the support number to talk to customer service and despite being open from 8-5 I received an automated response they couldn't take the call at this time.
Like the app, but at times will not open. Tried uninstall and open fresh. Now can not log in.. circle spins and spins on Samsung 21.
Just downloaded app and it loaded fine, got signed up fine and the app looks great, HOWEVER, I can't get the water testing page to work because when I try to choose the colors my test strip indicates, nothing happens. I can't touch the color and highlight it. It does not take in the data so can not diagnose my pool water needs. What gives?
Appears to only be for pools. Also wants your address and precise location access to help with?
App is just here to harvest your data. It requires a login to even use the app at all, then requires your name an address before "testing" your water. Then it asks you to input information about your pool or hot tub into a form that barely works. It does not actually test your water though. Instead it just asks you to enter what the test strips already told you and then twlls you your water is not properly balanced, despite everything being in the middle of their ideal range.
Such a great and easy app to check the levels of our hot tub!! I was about to buy all the separate chemicals until the owner of the hot tub store showed me this system. Absolutely love this!! Highly recommended!!!!
New phone running Android 12. App will not let me log in. I see other people have same problem. I used it before and thought it was great. Just put the spa back in service and frustrated the app does not work.
Excelent... just do what the results say and you'll be good for long time
Absolutely worthless. Doesn't scan and read the test strips, requires you to punch in the numbers and gives you suggestions on how to correct.
Test strips often have no color match. App stated, " You're ready to enjoy your spa." Took water sample to the dealer, and everything was off the chart bad. Had to drain and fill the hot tub to try again.
Simple direct help for spa newbie. I do have a small inflatable hot tub and the app doesn't seem to recognize its 250 gal water capacity. Otherwise a good uncomplicated tool.
The worst. The calendar sync now works however anything you enter for a future date gets logged for today. For instance I set a reminder to change the cartridge next week and the reminder pops up for me to it today... horrible app
Easy to use, but colors of results can be hard to match with screen colors. Instructions for correcting imbalances are clear and easy to follow.
The reminders won't sync reminders to Google calendar. It works with Outlook though. This needs to be fixed to get a higher review. Also, won't install with Android 12.
Easy to use UI, reminds and gives water test treatment recommendations . Reminders to google calendar often fail to remind and sometimes doesn't cross over to Google calendar.
Even using the Google login, i have to complete a profile and it won't let me enter my addrss because something is broken in the location lookup.
Cannot complete hot tube type and frog product selection on profile page. Cannot make use of app without profile completed. App is simply broken and does not work.
Samsung galaxy s8 App does not work. They now have my login info and personal data, but I can't use the app. Can't unsub because the app doesn't work. Bad app.
Absolutely the easiest, most direct tool to balance hot tub alkalinity and pH. This app makes it easy for a beginner! 6/30/21 update: still the best!
Great app. it helps out newbies to hot tub care. my hot tub levels are now where they should be. if you follow the guidance you cant go wrong. the reminders help alot as well.
Location services are horrible, can't test water without a address, can't find your address. Oh well, back to the Clorox app.
App keeps crashing and asking for updated contact info after saving asks for it over and over when it finally starts back up. Using Android
I am unable to setup an account. I've tried two different email addresses. I've check the SPAM folder and I never get the confirmation email so it won't let me login. 🤨
You can't even create an account because app won't find address. It has location permissions. I type it in and it says not found.
This app is great to help balance the water, when it works. Half the time it just circles and doesn't start.
The most useful tool on the app simply doesn't work. You can not set future maintenance reminders past the current date.
Highly recommend this.....Before I downloaded this app I reay struggled with keeping my water clean and clear. The water testing and diagnostic features are great in helping me to keep my hot tub water balanced and clean. This app also adds reminders to your calendar to let you know when you need to change water to add a chemical and when to change cartridges on in-line systems.... I will note that it is helpful if you use the FROG water test strip.
