Honestly the most frustrating and time consuming set up for anything I've ever used. 4 times I went through the set up to have a pop up ask me if I want to open in browser, if I click no it resets the whole set up, if I click yes it takes me to the website but it doesn't set up in the app. This app needs A LOT of work and needs to be more user friendly.

I can't recommend this app at all. Firstly I couldn't register. Initially at website the programme didnt send the verification email and then put me into a loop with the verification process and needed to contact support to get sorted whilst installer waiting. Finally registered and got app installed Not intuitive, hard to install, wont log into website, goes into demo mode on opening and not your own system, no explanation of symbols colours or terminology. I could go on with other issues but the upshot is a very poorly designed and functioning app that needs a lot of work. The only thing saving it is that the Windows 10 version of the app is far worse! This reflects badly on the company

Quite unsatisfactory! It keeps falling out and has to be setup, especially if we go away for a few days. The user interface, especially setup, is bad and the information supplied is next to useless. The app needs to be scrapped, some thought given to supplying useful info, and the app should be rewritten from the ground up.

This app is total rubbish, web page will not connect, but all I want to do is relay wifi info to my phone or PC. When tha app starts up it is all glossy and pretty like the photos, but all it is showing are the pro system s they have installed around the world. I DONT care about other systems I want to view my information. Too much to ask from such a large company to get this little thing right? Big thumbs down.

Setup wizard takes ages to get from one step to another, if it doesn't freeze altogether. Asks you to login, but doesn't activate login name input, only password. Asks if you want to open view in a browser, which doesn't work, and if you don't, it ends the wizard. No real guidance as to how to proceed or what to enter, just seemingly random functions, one after another. By far the least functional app I have ever tried. I gave up, just like many others...

Trying to connect to an inverter to get data, app says 'connecting' and goes no further. Occasionally pops up a message 'an inverter in configuration mode found. Configure it now?', and both Yes and No buttons do absolutely nothing. App gives no feedback about what it's doing, just shows loading spinners until you give up.

As many others have already stated, this app is rubbish. Used to work fine - had a few dropouts but sorted itself out eventually. Stopped working a few weeks back and have spent ages trying to reconnect without success. There is no support from Fronius. Very disappointing and raises concerns about if Fronius cannot get their app to function correctly, then what hope is there for their inverter reliability? Web site seems to still be functioning ok but really enjoyed the ease of using the app

Just frustrating. It took 30min to create a login and then when i want to log in during the connecting process, it's declining. Process steps are sometimes good, sometimes really bad. Necessary information or help are missing and the design is aweful. Sadly i can not recommend the app in the current situation, even if I'd love to use it.

I did setup wizard and had to do twice as at first there was issued connecting to Wi-Fi even though it was on. Then once setup complete the app doesn't log in and takes me to browser which has limited info. I wanted the app but trying to log in only responds with authentication error even though this works on web. Not happy with app at all and I've tried both live and pro. Help??

Worked ok, but swapped to free Pro version because it gives more info. Tip: don't click on the Setup Wizard. It's for settings comms to the Inverter, not for setting up this app. If you change things you may lose your comms to the inverter (as other users who did it have documented below.) Just login, using same details as used when you set up your Fronius account. That's all you do.

does not work for me. the app is loaded on both computer and phone. Shows all the pages but does not record any data except the local weather and the time. From reading the reviews, it would seem most people can't get it to work. There were only two that said it worked okay, so what they did to get it to work I would like to know. Not happy Jan.

The app itself is near useless, except for having a link to the Web page. The app has basic output only but web has better breakdowns of where power is coming from and going to as well as historical data. If the app had the same usability as the web it would be great.

I can log into the app perfectly fine but can't connect to the Fronius. I've followed the setup a hundred times but it just sits there spinning on " connecting" and doesn't connect even though the Fronius shows Wi-Fi as active. Is this because there's no facility to put your wifi password into the Fronius? And there's no way to contact anyone for help. Frustrating.

My desktop version on W10 works as describe but the Android version on my Google Pixel does not work at all. States the App is too out dated to work and contact Fronius but they don't speak to customers or answer emails in Australia. Also won't work on iPad apart from generated production. No other features. The App shows last update was 18 months ago. Pretty poor in my view.

The setup wizard to connect to your inverter is like something from the early days of the internet. The whole fronius web offerings are not in line with the premium cost of the device, which is something that would make me consider a competitor instead for my next inverter. No signs of iterative improvements being made to their web infrastructure or the app.

the app seems to be written in the 90s, and has never been updated since. difficult to understand, "server errors" all the time, ohmpilot (whatever this means) menu is not accessible with no messages. Aweful first impression.

Not happy with this app. It would helpful if I were multilingual. Had a power failue and lost connection with my Rronius Primo 208-240. I am not a Wi Fi novice, but the re connection process for this app is horrid. I've given up on this app. Is there another that is compatible with this "Fronius"?

doesn't get past the "establishing connection" step on OnePlus 6T running the latest android version. not sure if that's the issue but ffs its not 2011 anymore, optimize the damn app or start selling the inverters for 1/3 price on AliExpress, I'd expect that level of support from them at least.

Just installed the solar power today. The installer didn't help to install the app. Not much instructions where to find how to install the app. Managed to get it and it took two hours to install with multiple attempt. Finally it is installed and working. During repeated installation attempt I had to change password. Put new password as old one and it did accept! This app need total makeover. It is too early to rate this app.

Obviously not designed correctly for use on Android devices as experience same as other reviews listed here for Android devices. However the App works perfectly and every time on my old Apple device. Frustrating in the least and sadly does not reflect well for an otherwise high tech equipment.

Very poorly written. This app cannot perform a simple task such as even remembering who you are. The app constantly logs you out and you have to put your password back in. App is also unstable and crashes sometime after login. The actual inverter is amazing, the software is rubbish

WOFTAM . . . don't waste your time!!! This app is useless and there's absolutely no point installing as it won't allow user to log in. Always says incorrect login details and to reset password (wasted time on that also). I can log into Solar Web via any web browser no problems . . . just this app WON'T. SO GIVE IT A MISS, as per all the previous feedback, FRONIUS don't give a flying F*$! about you or this app's functionality

Save yourself the time and uninstalll this "app." Hot garbage would be a more appropriate name. For the Devs, app forces users to go into web setup even after clearing cache. Next it would get stuck on the continue (and back) button not working at the wifi setup screen. Guessing you already know this and I'm just wasting my time. Should be removed from play store.

I think Fronius really have to up their games in the app development. Drop connections, energy balance too forever to update, etc. Emailed to the local team, they mentioned live app is not designed to provide live data, what a damn joke. After 1.5 month purchase the inverter, it already has a issue, now installer needed to make a warranty claim. As of last night the energy balance graph is completely down. Anyone has the same app issue too???
