Frontier Airlines

Used a few times without issue. Today, at the airport, it suddenly stopped working, giving unexpected error when trying to load boarding pass. Lastest app. Bounced phone. Same error. No way to contact support from the app. Had to get the tickets at the counter. Wasted a lot of time. What happen if it crashes just before boarding? Too unreliable.

Buggy and More Expensive Flights! I got this app so I wouldn't have to check in to the terminals at the airport. It glitches constantly and sometimes doesn't work when you need to show your boarding pass. You have to screenshot you boarding pass to reliably have access to it. Also, flight booked through the app are more expensive than if you book on their website buy about 10% for some reason.

This app is Garbage. I literally couldn't check into my flight. Every time I clicked "self service" for help with issues, it crashed. I got around it by clicking the in airport assistance. But after I entered my credit card info and hit submit, it crashed and lost all my data. I had to have my wife submit it with her iPhone. Literally couldn't check in despite trying over 10 times.

Unable to pull up a boarding pass. Thank goodness I screenshot my boarding pass the day before when I checked in because when I got to the airport I just got an error message over and over despite putting in the correct information (that successfully worked the day before). I closed and retried and double triple checked all the info and got nothing. Not even going through the website was working. I almost missed my flight home because their online portal is so trash

Worst airline app ever! Multiple attempts to log in, had to reset password multiple times, finally worked on desktop computer. "Welcome to your profile" is completely blank, both on app and website. Had extreme difficulty adding my new mileage number to an existing reservation. Existing reservation still does not appear in any list of My Trips, have to search for it each time by last name and booking reference number. Hopefuy this does not reflect the quality of upcoming air travel!

Slow, unresponsive, captcha doesn't work. Quite possibly the worst app I have ever downloaded. Poor product. Delta App is light-years better. I rarely fly frontier due to their gimmicky pricing, and bait and switch tactics, this is just another reason to steer clear

Horrible app. Had to upload my flight info multiple times to retrieve my boarding pass. Then when I'm at my gate I check again for my boarding pass. GONE! AGAIN and now it won't except my flight information so no boarding pass. Thank goodness I'm smarter than the app and did a screenshot the last time I could see it. App goes right along with my unhappiness with charging feed for EVERYTHING!!!!

App is slow to pull up boarding passes. Be sure to screen shot ahead of time. Did anyone else receive their miles estatment with the message that miles expiration has been paused but still lost miles? Seems to be misleading and a shady practice by Frontier Airlines. Customer service was not helpful.

Worthless app. Slow to load, and nothing but errors, and wastes so much time that you'd be better off just using the site and printing your boarding pass at the airport.

Delayed! Delayed! Delayed! I've heard many terrible reviews,however I always want to speak based on my own experience. They wait until it's about 20 plus minutes past the department time to inform customers of flight delay. This $ is no worth it for me. I have things to do being onetime is important for me. So, I will never fly Frontier again🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ .

When I open the app, it says pardon the interruption... We've noticed some unusual activity, then asks me to complete a captcha to proceed. When I complete, it says captcha failed, please try again. I can't use the app at all.

This is the worst, least reliable airline ever. They canceled, cost us 500 per ticket to change flights and they only reimbursed 300. 5 people equals us paying 1000 extra plus they didn't give the money back for the flight they canceled. This company is a scam. The app is irrelevant. They are a joke at the airport because they cancel so much

What a mess this app. Not at all reliable to use as boarding pass. When you least expect it, it stops gives you an error and you can't even upgrade your seat.

Basically an app version of a web site. Neither user friendly nor intuitive. I wouldn't expect anything different from Frontier. 2022 update - still 1 star. Backward navigation is next to impossible. I'm using my computer to book from now on.

Stopped working as I was trying to board, would not pull up my boarding pass although all the information was correct and we had good enough wifi to download episodes of a show on Netflix. Download or print your passes, this app is not reliable.

Nice looking app but needs to be restarted often. The app clearly makes web calls constantly doesn't cache anything. I loaded my boarding pass phone turns off unlock the phone app can't find boarding pass. Need to kill it and restart. No gate information when we landed. Leaves a lot to be desired.

At least I can log in, so that's a plus. Having to enter my last name and confirmation number every single time is the worst. It should just save it for whenever you go back in. Or at least let me save my boarding pass to Google Pay so I don't have to deal with the app.

Terrible. App constantly gives alert that an unexpected error has occured and all info will be lost. Cheap airline. Cheap app. Waste of money and time.

Double downing on previous experiences. Sitting at PBI trying to access my boarding pass that timed out, will not reappear no matter if i login to the app or site on my phone. Just horrible, BRAVO/BRAVA Frontier, you have the worse app experience in the history of apps. Previous eval: Freakishly horrible app, barely works i have been losing out on deals because the app is unstable...it's not the phone, website stinks as well.

This is aimed moreso at the company than the app. They are COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! I get cancellations happens all the time but to let ppl know at THE VERY LAST minute is awful. Using unnecessary money for another taxi and a hotel to stay. Now I gotta go thru getting reimbursed and that's gonna be a headache. FIND ANY OTHER AIRLINE EXPECT THIS ONE! Can't do anything on time. First and last time with Frontier.

Did not alert us that our flight was canceled. The app showed that the flight was still on time 9 hours after it was canceled. Never ever fly Frontier unless you can afford to buy an extra night at a hotel and more tickets to get where you need to go. Terrible company and a terrible app.

Been trying to pay for my bags and seats for 3 weeks. It won't accept my payment. Now my account is locked. Hold time is 90 minuites. Lol. I'll book any other airline, EXCEPT frontier. The last time was a nightmare, and this time is no different. The $ you save on the flight, you pay on luggage. I think I'll just pay for a decent trip on an airline either decent customer service. Very confusing. Constant "upselling". Gave up and went to another airline. Use Southwest instead. No hassle, no upsell, competitive, free luggage. App just works with no glitches. Go Southwest!!!

Utter laughable garbage. No way to quickly open app and access info, have to log in each time. Can't check-in using app, can't just view your trips - you have to go to your email to retrieve your confirmation first, can't do anything with it, what's the point??

Poorly implemented app. Takes a long time to load screens. After bringing up your boarding pass, if you return to the app a while later, it says that it's unable to find the reservation/booking. It still manages to work as a mobile boarding pass. But my suggestion would be to take a screenshot of your boarding pass and maybe add it to Google Pay.
