Overall I am loving the game. The amount of different units in the game and the maps are awesome! It took awhile for me to get used to but I am having a good time. The only thing I would recommend would be maybe a tutorial unless i somehow skipped that. I would LOVE to see more from this developer. Maybe western fronts or Pacific theatre's? Either way keep it up!
The first set of campaign battles are free and fairly easy to beat. Even under the hardest settings the enemy units make obvious mistakes, like not defending the main objective at all cost. I have no problem with this game being easy, however when the developers give you a choice of 3 difficulty settings and all 3 fell the same something is not right. This is very easy to fix: just add more enemy units and place them on/around the objective hexes.
I must say as far as turn based strategy go this is one of the best. One of the reason is most game they just assign you most of the units you have to fight with. This one you can essentially pick out your own army. Graphics are good game play is really fun if you are into strategy games. My only question is ... what do prestige point do? I have a Samsung Galaxy edge 7 and I go to click on it and does nothing. Also it would be nice to be able to change up the line up for your reserve force
Average once played through, then it gets boring and limited. Eastern Front as well as Western Front both suffer from a lack of diversity. There is no option to create your own scenarios, select the side you want to play, and limited scenarios even after purchasing the extra levels. A strong update is needed along with more scenarios, edit options, and maybe even axis allied units. I'd recommend it if game play improves, but right now, no.
When I downloaded the game, I was expecting a pay to win [redacted]. I had pretty low hopes for it. But as I opened it and began experiencing the gameplay, I was baffled. It's a great game, with solid mechanics, historically accurate units and best of all, it's only paid content are expansions which are cheap, but content filled. Overall, my favorite phone game.
I played pixel-based games in the 80s. This was a lot of fun. The forces balance well. One does play through the free content pretty quickly and I'll probably buy the add-ons.
Fast, but solid WWII hex. Need to know your WWII units or it might take a bit to figure out matchups. Maps are relatively small and computer doesn't react much to the "Frontline" getting breached and turning their flank, but still fast play and no slog or ad barrage. It's up there with the top hex games out there. =)
This game is very well-thought-out, has excellent graphics, and hones one's tactical skills. Game still has some bugs especially at Kurtz, where tanks just keep rolling and the game freezes. Still, nice to play an absorbing game with such a small but in. Please fix the bugs.
I played Eastern Front and Patriotic War. Eastern is much better. Great visually/contrast/colors. I like the various attributes for gameplay and unit development but still maintains minimalism. Problem: when I select a unit or select the supply menu, both are a pop up menu that block my units. I cant minimize the menu while still being able to apply my feature to my units or select the units. Particularly if I want to heal/resupply a unit. Make a black void round map? I will buy acts 2/3.
Excellent game! Honestly I expected something way too hard or boring inaccurate history. Yet it was a pleasant surprise that both difficulty and joy were perfectly combined in this game. Despite the fact that there are some bugs it's definitely worth at least a try. Looking forward to the next uptades.
This game is just like 1944: burning bridge. The variety and game mechanics are great, but the game display needs improvement. Once greatest problem is the campaign map is too small (cannot zoom in) and there is no number indicating the order of campaigns. For details can take a look at World Conqueror campaign map.
I absolutely love the game!😚 bravo! But..... I found a glitch where if you press the turn button twice quickly it ends the enemys turn. I used that glich throughout my entire play through. As much as it is fun to always win, it took away from my experience knowing I had the power to cheat.
It's kind of like Battle Chess but way more in depth. At first I thought things were getting routed/destroyed arbitrarily, but after a few battles you can figure out there IS a method to the MADNESS. I can't play it constantly, but I bring it out when I need a brain stretch.
This definitely reminds me of Panzer General from past pc games. This is a compliment, as I thoroughly enjoyed those games as well. Probably the best thing about this game is additional missions are very affordable priced at $1.99. This is very different from most of the greedy offerings on Google play.
I've been playing this game for about a week and I really enjoy it. It's reminiscent of Talonsoft's East Front game of 20 years ago, and Avalon Hill's Panzer Blitz board wargame from ancient history. Ah, the memories. I like the move and shoot of Frontline and fog of war features as well as the many types of equipment available. My only quibble was the air battle over Minsk. Would prefer my Stukas with my panzers instead, but all in all a great game. I'm going to try the other games by this dev
Wow. "The PERFECT Turn Based Game??" Have you guys Never heard of Panzer Marshall? This one was WAY too easy. Even on HARD I got 3 stars on Every Level. Not enough depth in the gameplay. Maps need work. Etc. Etc. Other then that its better then most BS they come with on Play Store. When u can get challenging and match or beat Panzer Marshal, Ill buy.....
The gameplay is absolutely fantastic, way better than I expected it to be. But it's extremely unsatisfying when you finish the free scenario, and then realize you have to pay for the 2 others, I'd rather watch adds than not be able to play the game. This is greed
One of the best strategy games on Mobile. It has some kinks but mainly a solid experience. My main complaint is that it's way too easy, and the lack of scenarios. The 2 cause a very short playtime
this game rocks. I have all the phone games and the windows game. this game i like the graphics better then the other two. a upgrade for the phone game would be nice to get some new scenarios and too bad you can't switch sides like in the windows versions 😄
Old school, been playing games like this as long as I can remember many many years, this one is pretty good, smooth, clean, beautiful design and graphics, decent gameplay, haven't dived to deep into series yet but like what I see, keep it honest and you got something people will highly rate, good job Dev,not bad, keep it up.
I would give it a 4+ but on level 28 game will not switch sides. When you go to shoot one of the lower tank destroyers it will not let you finish the turn nor can you save it. So therefor you cannot finish the level.
Its a good game with potential. The reason I gave 4 stars is due to some small bugs like the game not displaying the amount of ammo, fuel and experience my units have. It would also be helpful if the game had a small description for the units along with the stats which stated their intended use.
I honestly am surprised! I thought would be a cheap money grab but I played through the entire original missons in about 3 to 6 hours. Not beacause there isnt any content but I liked it that much I might buy the extra content I also like how the missons are cheap if you wanted to buy the extras I also like i not being pay to win and not too hard but not too easy. But after all that I have some suggestions I would like sandbox i would probably buy it and also rework ai to try to tale back areas
Everything is amazing. But theres 1 bug, whenever i play a mission, text appears in the blue screen below the objectives and immediately disappears. I think it was the storyline text but idk.
Most fun good design interesting, I believe historical units, no nonsense ,clear and concise. The first 10 scenarios are free and acts 2 and 3 are well worth only 2 dollars, and you don't have to buy units. It's an honest deal.
The game is better than what I've first expected. Smooth gameplay, decent graphics, and good game mechanics. I have not found a single bug in my play through which is quite outstanding. A few suggestions is to maybe add a sandbox where players can just mess around in a certain map and make their own missions/ scenarios if they don't feel like performing missions. Another is to maybe add naval combat. That is all of my suggestions. Brilliant game and definetely a must try.
