Frostbound
Frostbound is a rogue-lite atmospheric survival game where you guide a small group of elk-like creatures on an epic journey across a frozen landscape to a cursed mountain. Camp, scavenge, travel by day or by night, and survive the trek to the center of the Cursed lands, picking up clues about the curse along the way.

Quite the epic. Felt chilly.
Lots of things work quite well, and it's shaping up to be an interesting game. But first the big downside: Unfortunately you have to spin around constantly - it really really needs a way to move your view so you can sit down normally. There's nothing about this game that should require you to clear space and move this much, it could easily be a lean-back-and-enjoy experience. On the good side: Graphics are consistent and look great, and it does "large threatening enemy is chasing you" far better than any
Visually impressive, and complete game mechanics, but lacks a proper instructions. There are stone tablets with pictures, but learning the game could be made a lot easier. The story: Demons are chasing you because you stole an animal skull (Why?). A big part of the game is giving your team food and sleep, which requires you to gather materials. This gets tedious because they are hungry and sleepy a lot, and waiting for hunger and sleep meters to refill is time consuming. Selecting your units is also difficult because the same button is used to issue a move command (a way to scroll through units would fix this). My phone ran completely out of battery and shut off with no warning while playing.
This game manages to combine tedium and stress into one package. You have to hurry up no matter what the task is, but none of the tasks are engaging.
I really like this game. As others have said, it could be improved with a more accessible save game feature, but I quite love the challenge of not being told at every turn how to play. The graphics are wonderful.

Not because of VR but because this game makes you spin so much
This game looks great and has a good sense of scale. Even considering there's only one path (as far as I've played) it looks like it'll satisfy that rogue-game-need itch. Unfortunately the lack of a consistent save feature doesn't let me get very far as I can't play the entire game in one sitting. I'll revise this after that's fixed.
The VR in this game is rather clunky and not very intuitive. Feels like VR was pushed into an otherwise promising game. Wish I could refund.
Lots of spinning around to move through the environment. Gameplay is slow and kind of boring.
Review will change as I work my way through. So far, it has been great.
Constantly turning. I can't seem to figure it out. Graphics are pretty cool, but what a waste.

There seemed to be no rhyme or reason for the orientation after you move along the course. Very disorienting.
