Latest update repeatedly registers driver spin at 1962 or 1769, both are incorrect. Iron spin is all over the place. App worked fine before. The developer's response below is not true. The last update is dated 12/31/21 and is the update that caused the issue. 4/1/2022 - installed the latest update. Now the spin rates are all over the place - driver now registers anything from 2000 - 5000 and the irons are worse. Distance is also way off. This was a great product before you updated the software. Now it's useless. Please reissue the software like it was prior to 12/31/2021.
I like the data points and results and for the money it's a easy to use device. However, it's been hard to keep it connected to my phone (Samsung Note 9) without some effort. It's also difficult to switch between clubs without a snag and then the app is so sensitive that it will close out the session which can be a pain. As far as the device goes when it's working it's great but the app needs a lot of work imo...
I had connectivity issues with the app and wasn't able to use it for a little while. It also does not do very well with the slow motion video option. However, they promptly replied to my email and support request. They updated the app for the connectivity issues and it seems to work now. I give them five stars for the prompt response and quick resolution to some of the issues... Good job.
Update. Still waiting on the app to be fixed from the issue the Dec update caused. Mevo device is essentially a brick right now. 1/17/22-App is okay. But Since last update, driver spin is stuck on 1962 on almost every shot regardless of the swing speed.
Not smooth at all. Connection not stable while following directions. I have an android phone and the app constantly freezes or rapidly blinks not allowing me to do anything. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten it to work at all. Big let down.
My app is currently not working everytime I go to open it to use it the app kicks me off and my phone says something is wrong with the app
Used to love this but didn't use it for a little more than a month. When I came back to using it, the app would not launch (kept crashing) so I uninstalled then installed again (tech support 101). Worked well again but now I have lost all my previous data with video. Literally lost my progress... I am super frustrated. Oh well... start from scratch again. For the price - I expected so much more from the app.
I have had a blast with this! I have found it extremely accurate, to within just a few yards. I've used to to work on my lag and club head speed. Really have picked up a few mph and not swinging any "harder" at the ball. I like going back through and analyzing the data. IMO, well worth the price of the MEVO.
Most annoying app i've ever used. So slow. I have to wait for a few minutes to be able to start because there is a blackscreen. Also very very slow if you want to swich for example between different sessions. Please do something about the long blackscreen when you start the app
So at least on my Android I've lost the ability to email videos of my swings. It just says to download the app from the play store - but I definitely have Gmail app loaded. Please fix.
Connection Intermittent. Used it for my Mevo. Connection was good but it gets disconnected every few mins. Does not show digits and measurements. Perhaps this Android version is not compatible with the Mevo. Or has bugs. I used it with my iPad Air. IOS was good n quite stable. Didn't have much issues with the IOS. Developers, pls look into this. I'm using my Huawei Mate 20 Pro, latest version 10.0.
My Mevo is brand new and I downloaded the app but it will not connect via bluetooth to my Samsung Note 9. My Android OS was recently updated but I think it may be my MEVO because I have not had any problems connecting my bluetooth to any other system. Unfortunately I will have to return my MEVO until they work out the bugs.
The app works if you can actually get it to load and then somehow get it to connect to your Mevo. Mine is so hit or miss that I've not really used my Mevo much lately. It's not worth the extra time on the range to get everything connected. Flightscope needs to sort out these issues before they sell a $500 device that many people can't use consistently
Not connecting anymore to pixel 3. Used to work fine, but same as everyone else, some unknown update has broken it. Just a paper weight without the app. Will not be recommending flightscope products. The app wasn't very good when it did work and why there are no skills games for the mevo is beyond me.
Great product and have never had a problem with it. Is always connected and never drop issues. Not sure what people are having problems with but I have this app on two separate phones with a tablet and all three products have never had a problem
Works great. My only gripe is that, I set it to save to sd card but, it still keeps filling up my internal memory on a Samsung galaxy S9+... I wish I could sort that out... it would be 5 stars if it wasn't for that...
App stopped working. Now I have an expensive paperweight. Used to work. Tried to use last night and the app crashed every time that I tried to start a new session.
App crashes when trying to use slow motion on Galaxy S20 FE (or any Galaxy with slow motion) I spent the last hour an a half researching the issue instead of swinging. Customer Service is calling me tomorrow - I will report back! 6/22 Never received call back. The guy I spoke to yesterday said it works great on his iPhone like I'm supposed to switch or something, didn't log my call and I'm back to square one. I'm in email contact customer service now. Stay tuned.
I think this app and the flightscope mevo is excellent. I use it indoors It rarely misses a shot and fortunately if it does its the ones I duff. Great for analysing after practice session.
experiencing the same thing as everybody else! The app is terrible and doesn't even work and I can't use my product at all! freezes and blacks out constantly. How do I get a refund? And I'll probably just get there template of an answer saying have you contacted our support team?
App works and does what i need it to do. Just wish it was a little more user friendly.
Connection to my s10 and s6 tablet works great. No issue, all good except sometimes it doesn't read my swing speed. But most of the time all good.
Won't connect to Mevo using Galaxy S20. Ios version works with my iPad, Android version works with older S8 phone, but broken on S20. Very disappointing sine the newer phone is faster and has 120fps video.
Love the unit, but the app has two issues that really irk me. There is no easy way to control the volume of the in-app sounds like when it picks up a shot or of it announces "ready." Can be distracting on the range if you don't turn your phone volume way down, but then you may miss important calls. The other shortfall, and a big one of you ask me, is the fact that it doesn't give any averages per session. For instance, if I'm trying to get my average distance for 7 iron, I have to manually calcu
