FSWizard Machinist Calculator

This app gives excellent feeds and speeds for a wide variety of tools and materials. It shows sfm, rpm, chip load, etc. so you can easily adjust for your situation. I also just discovered the over two dozen references and calculators for things like drill sizes, gd&t, center drills, counter sinks, etc. While I wish there were a few more tool configurations like slitting saws and involute cutters, you get very good results using similar tools.

This is amazing! This will fundamentally change how I work. Basically all of the important pages of the machineries handbook condensed into one app! I originally got this for the feeds and speeds, it works great, then I saw all the other super usefull stuff!

This app has literally changed my life. For a while, it sat on my phone and didn't get used very much at all. I had issues with a milling feed rate at one point, and decided to open it up and give it a shot. It has worked wonderfully on every type of tool and material so far, and the radial and axial chip thinning calculation is extremely effective and useful. One suggestion I'd like to make is to add some sort of feed reduction ratio when comparing the machinesActual Toolpath ÷ cuttingEdgeTP

Very nice app, only feature I wish it had was the ability to print to my home network printer. The work around is to just do a screen capture/crop but a formatted print feature for hole patterns/w coordinates would be nice. Having the screen time out is annoying but that is a phone issue and not an app issue. Great job.

Great app. Tons of information. Love the speeds and feeds. My only comment is the counterbore depths of socket head caps screws don't go below the surface, the c'sink screws do. But that certainly is no big deal.

I use this app almost every single day. It is an invaluable tool for the modern machinist.

Best thing out there for figuring out how to run your machine. My suggestion: go buy the lifetime license for the desktop version on the Dev's website (comes with a lifetime license for ths pro version of this as well). ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT! Not sure how I ever got anything done without this. (Probably poorly!)

This is an awesome app!! I would happily pay for this if it has a premium version! If you design things for 3d printing or CNC this app is your best friend! I use it soley for bolt/screw dimensions that I need for Fusion 360 designs! Has exactly what I need for bolt and screw measurements quick and easily! Would be cool if they tied this app into one for 3d printing specific uses. HEY APP DESIGNERS- contact me, I have ideas. Haha

Full of features. Even has a calculator with unit conversion! I use it for wood cutting, so I wish the material database was more inclusive for softer materials. Overall excellent, though.

Been using this for quite a while but not now. The calculator keeps giving me negative value of RPM and Width of Cut. Developer please fix this bug. Your older version works well on my phone tho. update: Fast support from the developer. Thank you. Problem solved.

This is honestly a great app. I'm doing an apprenticeship program right now and it is very helpful in class. correct me if I'm wrong, but it appears all of these feeds and speed rates are for CNC Machining Centers, and im currently working on a drill press so none of that seems to line up with the radial drill I'm using. maybe I'm not doing something right on the app, or if it's not something on there can it be added for radial drills?

A must have tool, regardless of your machinist skill! A virtual compendium of everything useful to a machinist- both manual and CNC. I'm very impressed with the layout and how well the placement of information provides even more intuitiveness.

Wish I had used this before I started my first cut ever with my mill. Would've saved an endmill. The sheer amount of information presented here free, the amount of data you can change and the way it's all set up makes using this a breeze.

Highly recommend, recently promoted to operating a HAAS VF-6 but no experience whatsoever in anything related to a mill. Between reading the manual and using this app been able to program any part we needed on the fly.

This app is excellent. Speeds and feeds seem to be pretty close. Easy to use tap drill charts. It is really nice to have all this info in one app

Extremely easy to use and a huge time saver. Also had so much more than I expected and everything is useful to me. I absolutely love the GD&T section. I'm going to recommend to my company that everyone on the floor downloads this.

I love this app. I just started to use it and my cut quality is night and day and production speed has increased significantly. I have been making cuts i never would have in the past. i trust this app 100%

Excellent App... Format and layout is well thought out and easy to use. Not sure how much different the pay version is... But this one is a must have in pocket. Awesome job

No good S9+. Doesnt display properly , data on top of data. And cant see where there is speeds and feeds for hss drills in metric. Yes ,the majority of the planet in the 21st century uses Metric. And we program in mm/min as intended with mills and live tooling on lathes not inches per revolution.

A S&F tool that actually works! After using this calc for 6 months with everything from taps to flycutters I can honestly say that I trust the values it provides. What give me the most respect for the creators though is the fact that it does not request any permissions from my phone.

Great calculator for speeds and feeds as well as trig functions. Also has lots of mechanical reference material. Basically a machinist handbook on an app.

Could there be composite materials added? I was looking for carbon fiber and epoxy sheets as well as carbon fiber birch wood sandwiched plates. Other than that very very accurate and useful tool so far. I will update as I go.

Wow. What a great app I just found! Nice layout. Seems to be really accurate. I like the vast amount of inputs I can change. I found exactly what I was looking for right away. Nice job.

Csk tool bit calcs no longer working. It worked before latest update. Edit - 27th Aug Update has fixed the problem. Quick response by the developer which is good to see. 👍

Great app but missing one major feature.. could you maybe add in a thermal expansion calculator for both metals and plastics?? Best mechanical app in the playstore

It's good, but take feeds with a pinch of salt because they always seem waay faster than my cutters can cope with, whatever the input settings.

Very impressed by all the features available and very user friendly. Very handy tool for engineers and on the shop floor.
