And of course you still have the other extras: configurable homsecreen grid from 4x4 to 6x6, resizeable widgets, and, never seen in any launcher: control over core Android window animation speed.
Important: FTL supports all resolutions and ICS, but only 800x480, 854x480, 960x540 and 480x320 devices have 3D drawer enabled! Also ICS has no 3D drawer because it does not contain the "old" opengl interface. But as it is natively accelerated anyway, 2D drawer should be very fast.

Basic Instructions:
- On first boot, homescreens will be empty. Long-press anywhere and start adding stuff!
- You can add/change the shortcuts on the dock bar: Long-press the place you want, and wait for the a popup to show, allowing you to choose what activity you want there.
- You can uninstall apps directly from the homescreen: long press the shortcut (even in the app drawer), drag it to the trash can that appears where the dock was. If you drop it immediately FTL will only remove the shortcut, but if you wait a bit before droping, FTL will offer to uninstall the app.

I switched to this launcher from other fast (free) launcher in store, hoping that this would give better performance with efficient resource consumption. Performance: yes, slight better, but not too amazing, it has less features. Efficiency: not better than my previous launcher (which has more features). So, I hope developer should work harder to make it worth the money. Competition is hard in launcher niche, indeed.
Am I missing something? I have a brand new HTC on X and installed this launcher and it is slow and froze up 4 times in one day. I also can not use 2 of the icons in the home screen dock....They are just little Android robot icons and when I click on them I get an error message. I timed this launcher against the go launcher, sense 4, and ADW. This Launcher was not even close. I bought this with cold hard cash and am super sad cause it is just a complete waste. If you are thinking that this is a fast launcher then stop....because it honestly is slower!!!!! I am no idiot either. I know what I am talking about. Complete Waste. It Crashes.
Very nice launcher which is kept very basic and simple. That is what makes this launcher so fast and stable. I only have two issues concerning the not quiet optimal usage of display space and the missing possibility to resize widgets that already have been placed on one of the homescreens. The Apex launcher allows such widget resizement, for example. Because of the quiet broad borders on the edge of each display sides, much space is wasted and unusable. There is no possibility to remove such borders.thnx
Who stole my phone. This one is operating way too fast to be mine. FTL made my phone so much faster. Very cool app. I definitely recommend it. UPDATE : It's a bit buggy. It started out great but then needed constant restarts because it would freeze. Too bad. Un installing
This is a great launcher, fast and lightweight. But, if you are running it on a tablet without a wifi connection available, it will accuse you of using an unregistered version, and force you into a constant loop of "buy" or "dismiss" and make your device unusable. I paid for this, and you accuse me of theft just because my device was not connected to the internet. Fix this.
FTL sounded like it was exactly what I wanted. My Droid 3 runs a little slow being it's still on Gingerbread. I wanted something simple and very lightweight. A few hours with the free version of FTL and it felt like everything I wanted. However after about a week with the launcher I've had some problems that are becoming more than I'd like to deal with. While the launcher is pretty lightweight, some of the kinks make it just the opposite. I've noticed that often throughout the day when I unlock my phone, the last 2-5 applications I've ran are currently running and on my screen, even if I left my phone sitting at the home screen. This will cause even more annoyances when I'm at work, since the launcher will randomly decide to load up Pandora as well. I'm starting to wonder if my phone will begin to make random phone calls while locked as well at this rate. The launcher may be fast, but my phone is by far slower in the long-run with all these apps restarting when they shouldn't. The idea behind this launcher was a great one, but I don't think it's ready for every device just yet.
The only annoying thing is when I turn my phone to landscape to use the home screen...it takes a second to load my pages and that is annoying
Get rid of the icon light!! This could really be a great launcher if the icon you touch didn't light up! It's just really annoying and kills the whole thing for me. However the app itself works as it should and its quick.
The only issue I have is whenever I go back to the app drawer after pressing on and opening and app, the app icon has a permanent green highlight around it until I close and reopen the drawer, more of an annoyance than anything.
Needs the option to put up to 6 apps on dock and maybe to make it scrollable so differentt sets of 6 apps is possible. Option to put 1X1 size widgets on dock would be nice as well.
I used to love this launcher but I'm getting too many force close issues to use it now. I had it on a Motorola droid 3 for a long time and now it's even worse on a Samsung s4.
This launcher is great on power/ram consumption and is ludicrously fast... highly recommended!
Smooth and easy. Would suit someone not into heavy customisation.
I just wish the developer would update the application more often.
Not good wastage of money
it will ask for liscence when not connected and will force close when dismiss i bought this and this is very annoying uninstalled until problem solved

Fast, yes. However, no dock or icon themes, there is no option to load them. Icon sizes way too small compared to regular launcher.wallpapers do not work, they are zoomed in way too close. Widgets will only size to max 4x4, not 6x6 as stated. Good concept but needs work before being able to charge almost $3.
Does exactly what its suppose to do. Its truly faster than any other launcher on the market without having to root your phone...and no lag or crashing...believe me cause i've tried alot of them. Even better than Go-Launcher Pro. Samsung Infuse
I have used Ftl launcher sense it first came out. Flawless performance very stable and fastiest launcher out there. The developer are always updating and fixing issues which ive had none. Wishlist - The capability to change icons for customization. The negative comments this launcher gets is due to people unaware there is settings to the launcher use it.
If you can include wallpaper change function, its gonna be cool. And yeah, laggy app drawer on Saga 4.2.1 1.2ghz oc.
Good launcher but needs option to keep in memory
Had a bit of an issue with licensing when I purchased this but finally got it sorted. Very fast, one of the lightest launchers out, and still maintains usability and features. Unfortunatly can't find any options to change the apparently draw tho. Xperia s
Keeps force closing when I change dock shortcuts. Highly annoying that basic functionality isn't sorted out in an otherwise good launcher. Also some slight lagging when changing between home screens. DHD running CM7.2
Please fix the icon themes. None of them are applying the icons correctly. Or at least allow individual icon theming. The 3D drawer is also missing...
Its light but not working like it says,my go launcher themes are not working,no icons or dock. 5 stars when fixed.
Nearly perfect. Would be 5 stars if you could hide apps in the drawer and have extra dock items. Runs like a cheetah, and has native widget scrolling though, so its worth supporting the developer.
This launcher has a nice blend of minimalism and customization. It's lightweight, therefore consuming little memory while still offering some of the Personalization features users look for in a replacement launcher. For some reason the GO Launcher EX UI3.0 theme does not go into effect when selected. It's my favorite Go Launcher theme so I was disappointed when other Go Launcher themes would work while this one wouldn't.
