FTP Tool - Wifi Hotspot File Transfer, FTP Remote

Stopped working today during a transfer. Worked fine for months then out of the blue it just stopped. Using Android 12 and transferring to a N3dsxl. The first time it stopped it told me to clear the cache which I did; didn't fix it. The second time it said to update the app or report the bug. Uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and it shows it's connecting but when I try to transfer anything it stops and closes the app. Noticed this is not a new bug.

I actually don't like the lastest version which doesn't allow me to use user's root folder (DCIM also)

I liked the old interface... very simple, only a START button to push. And only the IP & port to deal with next. I created a PC app and an Android app. Data needs to be transferred from PC to Android. The PC side can send FTP, but the phone app is small and simple, no room for FTP there. Your FTP tool has filled that gap admirably. The user doesn't have to know anything. 1. Click Start, it's the only thing on the screen. 2. Shows IP & port... input them on the PC. 3. Click transfer on the PC. Works great! The simpler the FTP tool, the better!... if we want a lot of features in the interface, there are other apps that do that better. Keep your goal to be #1 easiest to use FTP... hide the new options and details on menus, keep them out of the interface... my opinion!

This App has the amazing features of transferring data between the network just like in my school and I have tried other apps such as Monect, FTP Browser but none have helped on transferring files in an effective process except for this one for transferring files between the network that works effectively. This app has password protection as well, so you could request authentication for security purposes. The softwares background is white-coloured as well; I would recommend this app.

Great app! Almost every other FTP app on play store ask for mutual WiFi connection with PC but I dont have any broadband so there is no mutual WiFi connection btw my pc and phone, hence those all are useless to me. But this app uses hotspot of phone to create FTP transfer protocol, that's why it is very useful to me. Suggestion: Please create an widget so that we can directly click that and FTP will start without even opening the app. Reply: Thanks, it is very helpful.

Worked for awile, then just stopped working completely. I've tried restarting my phone, clearing the cache, clearing the data, reinstalling it, everything. It just won't work anymore

Don't understand at all, contacted app, but no one actually can explain much. If you have time to contact them 4 , 5 or 6 times to ask questions over and over , go for it. If not, don't waste your time . Tried one more time, froze up on us....really bad app

Very primitive app. Some file sorting options could be added to it. It is extremely hard to find anything when in a folder has like 3000+ files in it. Sorting but date, name, extension could be useful.

Useful ftp server app, handy, simple interface and powerful. Fast connecting to transfer files between gadgets using wireless network (WiFi). Thumbs up for the developer. Keep up the good work.

First connect using normal WiFi or hotspot with or without password. Then start the app. It's the best one I have ever used. You just have to change the shared directory. It supports both internal and external SD card 128Gb. I really love ❤️ the app.

App works flawlessly after some tinkering with the firewall. I wish there were a bit more advanced features such as the ability to rename/create folders/files, not that I would use it but it may come in handy from time to time.

Drops connections on my own wifi while transferring files between phone and tablet. Won't make connection to Windows 10, 8.1, or 7 from/to Android phone or tablet. Very irritating.

Excellent. Works as advertised. Don't let your photos get mangled by WhatsApp or FB messenger. Use this most excellent app. I use it with my phone power cable direct to PC.~~~

This is the easiest way to transfer files between any two devices. Works even on browser. I have it on my personal devices and workstation. Love it.~~~

Often crashes when minimized. Other than that, its a good ftp transfer app. Software data cable's updates have been buggy. Im migrating here.

I've updated my miui version form 11 to 12. After then every time i make a ftp server by mobile hotspot the address changes every time and i have to do all form beginning on my laptop I found no ftp app or explorer could give a static ip for local network But if you could do this, this app worth a 5 Star.

fast, sleek, simple, compact. but still doesn't work advanced options needed.

I got this to access remote ftp server but using it to access phone files is so convenient i just upgraded to pro. Only downside is settings dont carry over.

Quite useless actually. Activated the app, then entered my info and watched it starts back at me with no activity, no servers to choose from, nothing. I'll be uninstalling this useless software now.

I was able to click Start, but the app doesn't have a way for you to set a username and password, so when I tried to use WinSCP to connect, I didn't know what to put and it always says access denied.

Unfortunately, the IP address keeps changing with each connection when using portable hotspot, so it's useless with ftp clients.

Contacted the developers about the bug and they fixed it in no time. Working again like a charm. Truly deserves 100% rating.

Fabulous app.. worked really well when I needed to create a backup of a large amount of data in a short span of time.

Pls add support for android 10. You need to add requestlegacystorage in manifest. Works fine on older devices and straight forward to use Edit:- Model- Aus Zenfone max pro M1 Rom:- Pixel experience Android 10 (custom) Edit 2:- The new apk works great
